About this cabin rental
300 feet of shoreline on Lake Mille Lacs, shallow sandy bottom swimming area. Room for multiple families, reunions, and dogs. Large yard, fire pit, fishing from the dock, when it is in, plus a boat lift available for rent in the summer once the dock is in. Bring your snowmobile in the winter and drive directly onto the lake from the cabin. Nearby access to the lake for your boat or ice fishing house. We provide 2 stand up paddle boards, 2 kayaks and a large floating water pad at no extra charge when you rent our cabin.
Cabin sleeps 12 plus 2 couches in the living room. The 1st floor has 2 bedrooms, 1 with a king bed and fireplace, 1 with a queen bed and they share the bathroom with a whirlpool tub to relax in and a shower. Upstairs is a third bedroom with a queen bed and a separate large dormitory style room with 2 queen and 1 twin beds, a sitting area with a couch that opens into a queen sofa bed, and a full bathroom (shower, no tub). Note: Must walk through this open area to access bedroom #3. This makes it a good space for a “dormitory” experience for kids, a family or close friends.
There are 4 RV spaces for rent with an electric hookup for each one, plus a modern outhouse with a real toilet for those staying in their RV.
We always strive to get our dock in by the fishing opener date in May, but we cannot guarantee it due to unknown ice out dates, weather and the schedule of the guys who put our dock in. No refunds if the dock is not in during your stay. UPDATE 10/1/24: Dock and boat lift have been taken out for the off season.
RV spot rentals are $55 per day. Boat lift is available to rent, as soon as our dock is put in, for $55 per day. Please arrange with host in advance if you wish to rent these.
There are 4 Ring cameras with motion lights on the outside of the cabin for security: 1 up on the front roof eaves, 1 next to the side door, 1 facing the back yard up on the back roof eaves, 1 on the shed. There is one Ring doorbell with a camera at the front door. All but the doorbell can be turned off using the light switches in the house that have a plastic cover over them. Please turn them back on when leaving.

We had an amazing Labor Day weekend with our adult children. The cabin was amazingly stocked. The kayaks and other water rec items were much used. Plenty of towels. Kitchen items. Even dispensers with soap, shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms. The location was great. Each evening we built a fire and saw the amazing view of the night skies!

This is a great cabin that accommodates large families well! The upstairs loft is perfect for all of the kids to have a slumber party. The outhouse was impressively clean and fun to use, while the jacuzzi tub with lights was a great way to warm the kids up after swimming in the lake. The large kitchen table allowed everyone to sit together for meals. The cabin is fully stocked with everything from towels, to dishes, kitchen appliances and more. We had family members ranging from 1 month old up to 75 and this property was great for the whole family! Thank you for the memories and a wonderful stay!

The cabin is one of the best stocked locations we have been too. Lots of outdoor & indoor things for entertainment as well as a very well stocked kitchen. We loved sitting at the campfire and watching the sunset off the dock. Very responsive host who was easy to contact and work with! Definitely recommend this location for families.

Perfect for our family get-to-gether
Tama and Steve's home was perfect for our family vacation. Home is extremely well furnished with many updates. Communication with Tama was second to none. Shallow, sandy beach was perfect for the grandkids (ages 2-6). West facing patio allowed for stunning sunset viewing over lake Mille Lacs. Layout of the home and bedrooms was well thought out, allowing for family activities while the little ones napped. Great value for the money. Thank you Tama and Steve!!
