Owner should get new cleaners. House smelled like dog urine. Bathroom smelled like human urine. Had to clean floors and bathroom…lots of dirt…not sure the last time floors were I’m mopped. Dog hair on sheets. Beds were not comfortable so be prepared. Parking is a challenge. One paid parking spot in front ($36/day). Can park super close to house for 2nd spot. Owner not very responsive. Had to constantly message for arrival info and didn’t get it until 10 mins after checkin time. No instructions provided in advance or at the location like most places. Otherwise, it is very close to the beach and the outdoor shower was a plus. It was mediocre at best.

All good!

Location was a big plus, TVs and ACs in each room was nice and three bedrooms was a plus but that’s about it. The listing says two parking spots, there was one spot that just fit our smallest car (Hyundai Elantra, a very small car) The cleanliness was terrible, sand and hair/dust clusters all over the floors, if you walked barefoot in the house your feet were black within minutes. Bathroom was GROSS, toilet had black stuff all over it and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a month! The backyard was also disappointing very unkept and just junk everywhere.
As far as communication with the host goes, I had asked a few questions before check-in and they would respond with a smiley face and “ok” but not even answer my questions. Not sure if it was a language barrier or what but it was very frustrating! We were able to check-in a bit early which was nice, but I almost think they skipped the cleaning from the last guests and that’s why we were able to, I would have preferred a cleaner place to stay over early check in. I’d stay in the area again but likely not this house, unless it was properly cleaned!

The property was great and a very convenient location to the beach, shops, and pier. They have everything you could possibly need except food and clothing! Very clean, TVs and ACs in every room. The only challenge as others mentioned is parking. It is a tight fit and if your tires are on the sidewalk you can be ticketed. On our second to last day we were approached by the parking patrol and told this. He was super nice and said he wouldn't ticket us but another may. I said we were leaving the next day and he kindly wrote me a warning ticket which would prevent another from giving us a ticket with an actual fine for 24 hours.

What a wonderful space to share time with family! This place was a home away from home! The ocean is so close, it made some stressors disappear, forgot something? JUST GO GET IT! I know I will cherish that day for the rest of mine! Only note...Parking was confusing, we pulled in rather late and it was difficult to figure out who's spot was who's, but I called the phone number posted on the opposite side of the house to ask if parking there was permissible. I was met by an incredibly nice guy that helped us figure it out. Thank you!!

We enjoyed The close proximity to the beach this was a huge benefit with little children, as well as the fenced in backyard. It was an easy walk to the main attractions at the Pier!!
Check in was super easy, and the property manager was very responsive.
Our only issues were parking which is not available for more then one vehicle(unless you pay for street parking) and the internet is super slow.
Street noise was fine but the train is close and went thru at 1:00 AM both nights which woke us all up. Then again at 5:00 am
Other than that well stocked with pots pans and dinnerware, complete with beach chairs and towels!
Beach weather was awesome!!

The cottage was clean and well equipped within 1 block of the beach but was right on the Main Street. There was no outside seating except the backyard which needed care. The lack of contact with the owner was disappointing. More suitable to younger renters than Seniors.

Small but cute and obviously cared for. Pride of ownership really showed.
Great spot for a small family.

This is a cute little beach house! Easy check in and out, clean, and seconds walk to the beach (1 min max). There is a store across the street with an amazing bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich too. Plenty of towels, washer and dryer, chairs and a small semi private back yard. Only downfall is parking. It’s tight and very heavily patrolled by parking patrol who love to give tickets. Be careful and attentive in parking. I’d recommend and stay again in a heartbeat.

The Location was great! Short walk to The beach, restaurants, shops and carnival. Plenty of room and the Porch was wonderful. Everything you need in the Kitchen, plenty of towels and beach supplies. The only issue we had was with the bathroom. It is is serious need of updates.

Great location for beach and food. The washer and dryer was great. The outside hose and shower were very convenient. Chairs and umbrellas available for use. Street noise until late at night. Fortunately, the noisy ACs drown out the street noise. There is a parking problem. My Toyota Camry was barely able to fit into the space. One evening, we received a parking ticket for having tires over the space and on the side walk. Passengers had to disembark before parking. The WIFI was so slow, it always timed out when trying to access web sites/pages.

Filthy and poor communication
I messaged an hour before we arrived and got no response as to how to get in. We later called for the wifi password and was told the wrong one. Once we got it up there was no signal anyway. One of the beds was full of sand and obviously was cleaned following the last party which caused us to question the cleanliness of all the beds. The area with the futon is not suitable for sleeping as there are no window coverings or a/c. The dryer takes forever to complete a load. One of the twin beds has a mattress cover that slides off. The window unit in that room was so old and rickety i woke me everytime it kicked on and off.
General disrepair in the form of rotting wood, usless outlets, wobbly ceiling fans, masking take on the screen door etc. The place hadn't been swept, behind the toilet and the full length mirror were filthy. Huge ants everywhere in the house, no light near the entrance. Dust on every piece of furniture and literally caked on the ceiling fans. The good parts: location and stock. Lots of dishes, cups, board games etc. If they actually responded promtly to requests, got a decent cleaning company and made some basic repairs it would be great but for our stay, not so much.

A perfect spot!
Our family of 5 stayed here with our dog. This place has it all and we wanted for nothing. Stocked with towels, everything you would need in the kitchen. There’s even a washer and dryer on site. Right next the beach and a short walk to the pier. It was very clean and well taken care of. We will definitely be back!

Well equiped beach house.
Upon arrival, we found the beach house very clean, and well equipped with virtually every essential needed for our four-night stay, everything from beach towels, beach chairs, boogie board, beach hammock, and gas bbq grill, that was clean and in perfect working order, with a spare tank of propane, picnic table in the back yard, with outdoor furniture. The kitchen ceiling fan was inop, but the property owner was on sight and advised us of it immediately. The parking is tight, but that was also brought to our attention before we booked. We had four adults and two teenagers, we had plenty of sleeping options. Every room had a working A/C/ unit, with the exception of the kitchen. We are planning on renting this same place next summer for our annual Maine vacation. Literally a five-minute walk to the arcade, amusement park, shops, and the pier, among everything else you would want, We were completely satisfied.

Book this rental!
The pictures don't do this place enough justice! The place is kept well clean and stocked with anything you could possibly need. There is a nice area outback. It's like a 7 minute walk to the pier but a minute to the beach! The host was easy to contact!
