About this house rental
This Wastach mountain home is located at the base of Utah's three most famous canyons. Enjoy the spacious floor plan and the cozy atmosphere. Newly remodeled bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. A patio with barbecue, complimentary hot drinks. This property is near a nature park and an equestrain park. Views of horses from the back windows and patio. One block to the grocery store, gas, and restaurants.
The space
This space is 1500 square feet with large bedrooms. It has been fully remodeled. New paint, carpet, windows, bathroom, and kitchen.
There is a patio that over looks a large yard, and an equestrian center that is located behind the home. Horses are typically in view and you will occasionally see foxes.
The living room has plenty of seating room with a couch and loveseat for viewing the 55 inch smart TV that is mounted above a natural wood burning fireplace. Basic Cable TV is available and WiFi for utilizing your streaming accounts.
The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, flatware, cookware, and everything you will need to prepare your own meals. It has a Keurig and all the coffee you can drink. There is a table that seats 8.
The bathroom has been updated. The bathroom has a shower and is accessible from the main hall near the bedrooms.
Bedroom #1 has a queen bed, a night stand, a leather chair, a small desk and plenty of closet space.
Bedroom #2 has a queen bed, nightstand, a leather chair and a large closet.
Bedroom #3 has two queen beds, and 2 nightstands and a closet.
The property has all new furnishings. New mattresses, couches, bedding, and bath linens.
There is a washer and dryer with detergent provided.
The property has a ring alarm system for additional security available for you to use.
This unit is the lower level of an up/down duplex. The back side of the unit is on the ground level. This is a completely separate unit. It has a separate driveway for parking and a separate entrance. The unit also has its own climate control with full installation and sound barriers.
The is a large park/green space 3 houses down. It has a walking/running path that is great for getting outside. There are about a dozen foxes that live in the space and you will typically see a few of them. There is a playground in the park that you can walk to.
A few things you should know.
- The property is located on a busier street but in a nice neighborhood.
- The unit is the bottom floor of a duplex. The units are completely separate.
The equestrian center behind the house is nice, it makes the house very private and it's fun to see the horses, however, sometimes you can smell the horses outside. We never smell them inside but occasionally outside.
We don't allow any smoking on the premises.
- There is only one bathroom.
- There is a laundry room, it has not been remodeled but the washer and dryer work.

Margaret was prompt to respond and brought a can opener and extra blankets. Everything was clean and spacious and as advertised in the description. Our family of 3 adults, 3 teenagers, and a child fit perfectly sharing the 4 queen beds available in three bedrooms. They had a ton of towels and pillows! Will stay again when visiting SLC. Thank you!

My family of seven stayed for one night before being at a memorial service the next day. The code we were given didn’t work, but the owners answered the phone right away and gave us a new code that worked great. The house was clean with a large backyard and we all slept great. Thanks!

Great value, remodeled older house We had the lower level it’s a daylight basement on a hillside. The backyard is much quieter than the front it’s nice. The backyard borders on a horse arena interesting to watch it’s almost 100 yards away.

After the amount of time it took to get trash bags the first day I didn’t even try to get anything else that was missing.
There were no dressers, the cleaning before was not thorough (trash in the yard, dirty stove top, dirty utensils, dirty toilet), no trash bags, four forks/knives/spoons and about a dozen giant spoons, no oven mitts (now there are a pair if they aren’t thrown out), leaking refrigerator, cobbled together shower (hot goes one way and the cold is turned the opposite direction, there are holes where the shower head and knobs are, and the shower head is low), no propane tank for bbq.
The good: located close to major highways, motion sensing lights outside, waffle maker, 4 ice trays, plenty of space in the yard, close to shops, comfortable beds, nice couches. Adequate time between messaging and responses.

Me and my 5 boys ages 10 to 2 stayed here for 2 nights and it was perfect for us. It was very clean and cozy. The location was great. Being on a main thoroughfare provided easy access to the freeway and yet it was so quiet inside. I couldn't hear any noise from cars at night. Definitely would stay here again.

Our family stayed here for a ski trip to all the cottonwood canyon resorts. Access to the highway was easy. Only about 1/2 hour to the ski hill. The place was not much to look at on the outside, but renovated and updated inside, with comfortable beds and everything you need in the kitchen. Only one bathroom for 7 people, but we made it work. The owners were east to work with and responded quickly when we had issues. Would recommend!

We loved the property. Very clean and well appointed. Beds were amazing! Great location for ski resorts. Host was very responsive and helped us out. Since it is a basement apartment there is noise from people walking upstairs. But overall it was a great place to stay. We would definitely stay there again!

Everything was clean there was not a lot of extra stuff witch was nice just what we needed, fair price, worked good for what we needed, lawn needed a little maintenance but we weren't there long enough for that to matter
