The cabin
Outside, you’ll find swings and rocking chairs beckoning you to sit and stay a spell on the broad wraparound porch. On cool nights, the hot tub on the far side of the porch is particularly enchanting.
Inside, the welcoming living room is anchored by a wood-burning fireplace and features a loveseat, sleeper sofa and large television above the carved wood mantel.
A well-stocked kitchen opens onto the living room and offers everything a cook could need except the groceries: Stainless steel appliances, a full set of pots and pans, new plates and silverware, a coffeemaker and a Keurig machine, microwave, toaster oven, blender and other cooking essentials and utensils are all waiting for you, along with grilling basics for the charcoal grill outside. The dining table is set for 6; a leaf extends the table to seat 8, while an additional 2 seats are available at the breakfast bar.
Downstairs, the master suite hosts a king-sized bed, private access to the porch and hot tub, ample closet and dresser space and a flat-screen TV. The spacious master bathroom holds a shower/tub combination alongside a full-sized washer and dryer.
Upstairs are two sleeping spaces: One bedroom features a queen-sized bed and flat-screen TV. Children will love the separate loft with bunk beds — a twin on top and full-sized bunk on the bottom maximizes space — plus foosball table, flat-screen TV and games. The spacious upstairs bathroom includes a shower/tub combo and is located in the hallway between the queen bedroom and loft.

Stayed a week. Property was very clean. Porch was wonderful but we did not use it much due to the noise in the neighborhood. You could hear a child screaming and crying in another cabin and loud loud Spanish music playing over across the hillside. Also you can here every noise made inside the house.

Nice, cozy, quiet getaway. Great casual setting with good layout and secluded feel. The grandkids loved the bunkbeds and foosball, sitting on porch swings, and exploring local wildlife. Close to the park and near to other family members staying in the area. The house was clean, well-tended, and perfect for our stay.

All of my friends really enjoyed staying there.

It was nice but I wouldn’t bring children because of the steep incline and the stairs in the house. In my opinion the beds wasn’t very comfortable and I did sleep very well but over all It gave more romantic and something I would do with a spouse if I have one.

We stayed here to play games and stay in but this is more of a stay and spend time in pigeon forge location. we still had fun staying in the cabin just be aware unless you are in the master bedroom all activity is heard throughout the cabin.

Booking process was smooth. The owner messaged me before we arrived and provided me with all of the checkin information we needed. When I called to ask a question, my call was answered and she was able to get me what I needed.
The cabin was very clean, kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, bowls, cutlery and all the other basic supplies for cooking a Christmas dinner. The cabin was warm, AC unit was able to cool us after a long day out and heat the whole place well at night. The water pressure and temperature were perfect and we never ran out of hot water.
The kids loved the loft with the foosball table and tv for gaming. The location is within 15 minutes of entertainment and shopping. Took us about 45 minutes to get to Ober Mountain.
We didn’t try out the grill or hit tub due to the weather but they were available.
My only wish was that the internet was faster and more reliable. Since every tv is a TCL Roku tv, the internet is necessary to use the tv at all. Several ties throughout the day the tvs stopped working due to the WiFi. My speed test results were less than 15 mbps down and less than 1 mbps up. Improved internet makes this place a 10/10.
We appreciated the ample power outlets and the string lighting on the balcony. Hope this review helps anyone looking to book this place for Christmas.

The host had gone above and beyond to ensure that every detail was perfect, from the impeccably clean rooms to the cozy, tastefully decorated living space. What made the stay truly special was the host's exceptional hospitality. They were incredibly welcoming, providing us with local tips. The communication was seamless, making check-in and check-out a breeze. The location of the property was ideal, close to local attractions yet in a peaceful, quiet area perfect for relaxing. The amenities provided, like high-speed Wi-Fi and a fully equipped kitchen, made our stay comfortable and convenient. This Vrbo stay exceeded my expectations in every way. It's clear that the host puts their heart into making their guests feel at home. I would wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone looking for a memorable and pleasant stay. Met up with son and family to spend the weekend. Lots of activities and things to do in the area. Great way to spend time together, as opposed to a hotel stay.

The driveway was a little steep and hard to see the numbers in the dark, but the heck in was great. Easy to use the door code and get in. Had one question for them and they responded very quickly. Place was very clean and cozy. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

After a 9-hour drive with a family of 6 and another couple, we were happy to be "home." Our stay was 7 nights. My husband, our 4 children (11, 8, 7, 4), and their Godparents. This property exceeded my expectations. The upstairs is much more spacious than I felt the pictures looked. For sleeping my husband and I were upstairs in the bedroom, we had one child on the top bunk, one on the bottom, and one on a queen air mattress next to the bunk bed. My eldest slept on the sleeper couch. Their godparents took the king bedroom I thought that the downstairs bathroom was attached and it was not. Having two full baths was great! We sure did enjoy the hot tub after long hikes. On our first night, we realized the dishwasher was broken and notified the owners immediately they offered to replace it right away. They were in touch with us several times to be sure we didn't need anything from them. The home was perfect for the 8 of us. Plenty of room for everyone to feel as though they have a "space" to be in. I cannot forget the swings on the porch, we spent so much time on them. We had an excellent experience and will stay at this property in the future. Thanks for the hospitality, Robyn.

The Great Escape
The wife and I were in much need of an escape from the California lock downs and mandates. And we found it here. Beautiful, quiet, and cozy are the ways I describe Rocky Top Retreat. We loved our stay and love the State of Tennessee as well. Back woods feel, but still only a few minutes from town. Can’t wait to come back!
