Came up from San diego for the weekend. The cleanliness of the house was great. Our toddler enjoyed the playroom and overall we loved staying here. Just need to pick a better time of year, pollen coated everything outside so becareful if you happen to be allergic. LOVED THE PLACE

We had a wonderful time. We spent 2 nights with our neighbors and they loved it too. We have a 16 month old who just loved the kids room with all the toys and books. The big kitchen made cooking easy and there is nice dining table that we used to eat and play games. It is about 4 miles from the town of Idyllwild and not a bad drive. There was a nice back deck with grill and also a backyard, which we didn't get to use because unfortunately it was raining. But the four of us are already talking about booking another trip to this house during the summer when we can enjoy more of the outside. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay with our dog. There was snow on the ground to sled in the large backyard, the house was set up nicely to enjoy quality time, and all of the supplies you could think of for cooking were in the home. We brought our Fire Stick to watch movies and enjoyed the comfy couches and beds. Thank you!

Beautful, cozy home! Perfect family getaway to the pine forest! Enclosed yard was such a treat for our kids & dog! We even had some snow to sled on! We will definitely be coming back, Idllywild is such a gem of a town! Friendly, eclectic, and charming! Highly recommend staying here! Hosts were also incredible with support and communication! Also, really appreciated the eco-conscious touch to how they keep their home!

Loved the property, had everything we needed, the dogs loved the fully fenced in yard with large pines, the wood stove heated everything very well. We used our own firestick to access what we wanted on the TV. We'll be back!

Perfect spot for our family with 2 kids and 2 dogs. Fenced yard a big plus for dogs and serene wooded location was nice. Easy to get to downtown Idyllwild. Many fun things for kids to play with along with board games and a piano. Host was gracious and it is obvious that there is a lot of loved stored in that house! We will definitely plan to be back

We wanted a quick getaway for the first time with all the kids to experience the forest and a mini vacation. The hosts were very responsive and helpful! The place was just right for us. We have four kids ages 3 (2), 5 and 8 and they loved it. We were able to prepare a nice Thanksgiving dinner as they have a fully stocked kitchen with utensils and pans.

We loved our stay at this cabin. It was the perfect set up for our family. The kids loved the bunk beds and the toys and games and the fenced yard was perfect for our dog. The second upstairs bedroom/bathroom was perfect for my mother who joined us for the trip The kitchen had everything we needed and we were only a short drive from town. We had a lovely long weekend and would definitely stay again.

We loved this place. There was a huge fenced-in backyard for the dogs. The kitchen was well stocked and really big. We cooked a big meal in there very comfortably. We parked 1 car and 2 smaller SUVs. We didn’t need to use the central heat at all; the fireplace/fire stove worked very well to heat the house. There’s tons of firewood at the house. I was worried the lofted master bedroom would be cold at night but it was very cozy. Plus there was a wall unit in there that we didn’t need to use. I would recommend the lofted space for the early risers because you can hear everything from up there. We brought ear plugs and it was perfect! The bunk bedroom was really cute and was really good for the 15 month old. It had so many toys!! Veronica was really responsive and very easy to talk with. Overall wonderful stay!!

My sister and I met with our families for a small, relaxing getaway. It was exactly what we wanted…it had a kids room, large kitchen, and a huge backyard. We will definitely come back.

We absolutely loved spending the weekend with our family at this property. It was cozy, roomy, clean, perfect for grandma's birthday celebration. The serenity and peacefulness was unparalleled. We had hoped for snow but ended up liking it even more without it since we could take long walks in the beautiful neighborhood surrounded by pine trees. The town offered plenty of great restaurants like Ferro with its fantastic clams. We also loved Gastrognome for their great filet mignon and salmon. All in all it was a fantastic experience. We can't wait to go back!
