Perfect spot to jump onto the mountain and ski. Two adults and 4 kids, and we had plenty of space for a long weekend.

Very cute and cozy! The location is perfect, and was overall very clean. Best place we have stayed in Okemo. Definitely hope to return!

The Shred Shack is overall a great place to stay!
The front door is perhaps 100ft or so from Sachem where the trail access is super easy. The ski vestibule at the entrance is well laid out and there is an extra bench for someone to sit on at the top of the stairs. the condo is laid out well and everything works. the kitchen is surprisingly well-equipped and has KraftMaid cabinets even. The master has an adjustable bed that is comfy. The little bunkhouse is adjacent to the utility room but has double doors for privacy and drawers underneath for stuff. The Roku TV is great and because it is, you can sign in to any streaming services to which you subscribe. wifi works perfect. there is a comfy easy chair with an ottoman, a full size sofa with a long storage ottoman with lots of extra blankets and pillows, and a plush loveseat in the sunken living room providing cozy seating for 6. There is a single full bathroom with access from both the hall and the master. (so be prepared to share!) they have shelves and a double towel rack in the bath on which towels for 6 are hung. The shower has a massage head which is nice. Overall it’s a clutch condo, it’s in great shape and is well maintained. the memorabilia from young Mr. Bainton’s days as a snowboard hero and giant Okemo trail map are great touches. The thing we would recommend to the owner is to replace the mattress on the sofa bed. If you’re at the 6-person capacity, the two guests on the sofa sleeper would not sleep well. Thanks!

The Shred shack was perfect for me and my family. Space for kids. I was surprised just how big and open the kitchen, dining and living space was. High ceilings with a walk out door right into the snow. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great easy getaway to relax and ski.

The shred shack was the perfect spot for my husband and I to spend a couple of mid-week days skiing at our favorite mountain. Being literally steps from the Sachem trail can't be beat. The condo is warm, comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Bed was quite comfortable and I really appreciated the kitchen that had far better than average appliances, cookware, dishes etc. There are a lot of thoughtful touches throughout the unit.

Great ski on/off location off of Okemo Sachem Trail. Nicely decorated.

This is a great property - honestly steps from the trail. Very clean with almost everything you need. We stayed almost a week. There were necessities I had to run out to the grocery store in town for (toilet paper, tissues, etc.). I would have brought these if I knew I needed to. Not a big deal but worth mentioning since we ran out of toilet paper when the stores were closed.
The contract you are provided to text questions to didn’t know a lot about the property and didn’t work weekends or evenings. That would have been fine if we were walked in on twice by cleaning and management staff due to a mistake by Vacasa’s booking. Our last two nights were double booked and Vacasa called me all day long, into the evening on NYE about it. We had two nights left but were so frustrated we left the next morning. I requested only the last night to be refunded due to the mismanagement and stress during NYE and while on vacation but no one ever replied to my request. VRBO said it was another management company and they would ask them to reach out. Nothing.
In summary, this is a great condo but something is very wrong with the management of it. It’s hard to say if it was the owner, VRBO or Vacasa but we left on a sour note. Hopefully the owner will read this and make some changes.

Great spot!
Stayed there several weekends this year and plan to continue to rent it. Great convenience and well set up with all you need. Not to mention the throwback snowboards on the walls.

Perfect for a family getaway
Great condo for a family of four! Enough space for everyone to relax and enjoy both time together and down time. Kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Lots of other great amenities: reliable internet (if you need to do some work)), lots games, and TV. Conveniently close to the Sachem trail for an easy ski to the clock tower base area (note if the sachem chair is not running the ski home requires a ski down from the top of the mountain - our kids green/blue skiers were able to manage but something to keep in mind). A successful and fun trip. We cannot wait to book the shred shack again!!

Shred Shack
This place was perfect for my solo ski getaway. It’s a great location for anyone looking for easy trailside access and a clean, modern place. If the listed accommodations fit your needs, I’d definitely recommend booking here. They provide almost everything you need but if you need to do laundry, you’ll want to bring your own supplies. Other than that, the reviewer Daina G. covers everything accurately. Overall I was very pleased with my time here and I hope to make it back this season or next.

Perfect family ski shack
This condo is perfect for a skiing family! The kitchen is very well stocked with cooking implements, they have tons of games / legos for all ages (didn't even open the game bag we brought), two TVs with all the streaming apps at your fingertips, the mudroom is heated and perfect for pre/post slopes, washer/dryer for emergencies, desk area for a bit of work, and fun fireplace that gives heat through a vent but with glass that stays cool to touch. It is a 1-min walk from the condo to the Sachem run (green). We had parents in the bedroom and our 4 and 7 year old with their nanny in the bunk room.
A few things some groups may want to consider before renting. There is one bathroom, which would make the condo less convenient for groups of adults. The Sachem lift is often closed during the week, which means skiing home requires skiing a couple blue runs from the Summit to Sachem; we drove our beginner 4 yr old to/from the base. The top bunk doesn't have a barrier to prevent rolling off. Finally, this condo is half-way up the mountain and when it snows you will probably want AWD.
