The house was beautiful. We couldn't have ask for a cleaner place. It was a great lake to kayak. We had a question and Hans was so helpful.

The house was very clean and everything put away in its place. Plenty of kitchenware and towels plus there was a s’mores kit ready to be used. The only bad thing is I was only able to reel in one bass, the other fish broke my line! Communication was great and Hans and Linda were very helpful.

Very well kept relaxing home. You can stay at the house and relax for the day fishing, kayaking, reading a book on the screened in porch and have a bonfire in the evening or go to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park for the day. Highly recommend renting this home!

We enjoyed our stay here very much! Home was clean and as described. Loved the little extra touches- we had a great campfire one evening and enjoyed the s’mores that were provided. The lake is beautiful and we saw loons and a bald eagle. There’s even a nice hiking trail at the nearby fish hatchery.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lakefront property. Worked well for our family of 5 to explore Acadia National Park. 8 yr loved being able to fish. Was clean, with modern upgrades, comfy beds, and newly added sunroom. a bit of road noise as its a busy hwy, but did not bother us inside at all.

As frequent Maine travelers, we can say this location is perfect! On the water and conveniently close to so much. The amenities in the house were great. Thanks for the lovely stay.

Very comfortable stay. Plenty of activities to do. Clean. Kitchen was conveniently equipped with dishes, pots and pans. Enough space for family of five. Row boat, 2 kayaks, and fishing equipment were a big hit with the kids. Beds were super comfy. Shopping about 20 min away. My only gripe: the property is immediately next to a road with medium traffic. The pictures strategically don't show the road and its proximity to the house. The traffic noise was annoying. We managed to cope with it, but it could be a problem for others. Very well furnished. Again very clean. Overall we had a great time.

The home was clean and modern, with nice touches like phone charging bases and motion-activated nightlights. The beds were comfortable and the towels soft, and there is a new sunporch thay was nice. Our family really enjoyed the kayaks. The owners were very quick to respond. Our family had a great stay!

This lakefront home was the perfect getaway and allowed us to explore Bar Harbor without all the craziness. The on-site kayaks were nice to explore Graham Lake and we even had a nice fire down by the water. I was surprised how little bugs there were. We had no issues with the property all week long.

Everything about this place was 5+. Great location close enough to get to Acadia and Bar Harbor without the crowds. Exceptionally well stocked with essentials plus nice touches like the s’mores box, row boat, and wood for the fire pit by the water. Linda was great to communicate with and we really appreciated her flexibility with dates in light of Hurricane Lee. If we are fortunate enough to get back, we will book another stay.

The home was so clean that I wish there was a 5+. We used this home as a place to stay while hiking Acadia. It isn’t as close to Bar Harbor as we would have liked but was perfect for us in every other way.

This location was ideal! We spent 3 days in stunning Acadia National Park. We enjoyed expiring by both kind and sea. We found a great lobster dinner restaurant called Union River Lobster Pot. All seafood was great, especially the lobster and scallops. The location of this house was quiet. We were not disturbed by noise at night. Highly recommend this location and vacation spot!

House was just as described and pictured inside. The house was very clean. Pur family likes to cook and found that the kitchen wasn't quite fully stocked. We purchased a lobster pot and another medium sized pot. The landscaping could use some freshening up and the bank to the lake could use a good cleaning up. Overall the house was fine but sitting outside among all the weeds and dead bushes wasn't awesome.

This house was just beautiful. It had everything we needed, on a beautiful lake and an easy drive to all the local hotspots including Acadia. The owners were great to work with and quick to respond. You can tell they love the place too and keep it in great condition. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit Maine.

The house was lovely, clean, and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Our family (including boys 17,16, and 14) were very comfortable. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake everyday, the great proximity to excellent hiking and exploring in towns such as Ellsworth and Blue Hill, and of course, Acadia and Bar Harbor. Linda was very responsive and answered our questions immediately.

My family loved their stay at this property! The house was spacious and clean, with the bonus of an air conditioned sun room that looked across Graham Lake. We used the kayaks almost every day on the lake and made smores at the fire pit (thanks for supplying the kit!). The location was ideal for visiting Acadia and other nearby attractions as well as being close to town while staying in a secluded, quiet lake setting. We didn't want to leave

The house was clean and exactly as advertised, actually even better with the addition of a sun room. Linda was a great host. She was gracious and very responsive with messages. The house had everything you would need and more, kayaks, row boat, fishing poles, tackle box and bug spray (you will need bug spray and a fire to enjoy the lake and stars at night). My family had a great time here and would not hesitate to stay again.

Extremely clean and well equipped. Excellent attention to details. Host provides what you need to make your stay comfortable. From things in the kitchen to all you can need to enjoy the lake, plus great beds and pillows. It was perfect place to come and telax after a long day at Acadia. Would defently stay here again. Host was super responsive and gave us great tips where to eat and what to see.

The property was great although it is by a fairly busy road. But the attention to detail, the honesty, and quick communication made this stay top tier. We had an issue with an appliance and it was responded to faster that I would have to be honest.
Every time we thought I wonder if they have this they had it. In addition this place is convenient to Acadia and Bangor without the crowds. A real gem!

We would highly recommend staying here. It is very clean and well appointed. The owner was very quick to answer questions. It was exactly as advertised with a new enclosed front porch. Wi-fi was good and there were games, puzzles, four TV’s, two kayaks, and a row boat for entertainment. We enjoyed the Ellsworth area and had easy access to Mount Dessert Island although we visited a few weeks before the bigger crowds arrived.

Fall foliage
Spent 6 days here with my wife and 3 young children to do some hiking in Acadia. Nice house, very clean, and had everything we needed. The sunrise over the lake is beautiful if you're up that early and my kids loved the kayaks provided. Owners were easy to get in touch with and responsive.

My girlfriend and I were way past due for a much needed getaway and boy did we luck out by finding this great little house. When I say the owners spared no expense and thought of just about every little detail, I mean it! It's fully equipped with everything you'll need, from the kitchen to the bedrooms and bathroom. The sunrise on the lake is absolutely gorgeous. Just walk out the door and there it is. There were so many amenities provided that we didn't even get to enjoy, being that we spent most of our time in Acadia, but my suggestion is take full advantage of everything this place has to offer! 5 stars for sure and we'll be back!

Quiet, away from crowds
My husband and I escaped for a few days of hiking at Acadia. Little did we know that we picked one of the busiest weekends of the year. This house was perfect for us because it was about 30 minutes outside of Acadia and away from all the crowds. It was quiet, serene, clean and comfortable. The owners were very easy to work with and answered any questions very quickly. They have thought about many small details that made the house just perfect for us. Would definitely stay again and probably bring our children next time too.
