I was in the area for work. The house was well equipped for my stay. It was clean and check in was easy. I would stay there again.

This property is located close to many great local attractions and offers a quiet retreat when you are ready to relax. The house is spacious and has a great deck to sit on and enjoy a glass of wine after a fun date out and about exploring. I can’t wait to stay here again.

The cabin was the perfect getaway! It was cute and clean and in a great location!

It's a quiet cabin in the forest. You can see the green trees all around you. Cabin has many windows so it feels airy, and every window gives you a view of the trees at different angles, and that's exactly what we were looking for. It's a quiet neighborhood, with the sounds (and occasional visit through the property) of turkeys. For us living in Bay Area, this nature retreat was a beautiful getaway.

Our family loved this cabin. It is so cozy and beautiful inside with an amazing view. The kitchen is adorable with the retro appliances. The beds were comfortable with plenty of blankets. There were dishes and coffee maker. They provided a dog bowl for our dog who also loved it. The loft is gorgeous with its big windows. It snowed during our stay so it looked like a winter wonderland. I highly recommend this place to other families. We were very pleased.

This was a beautiful escape from the routine, we were not expecting snow but with a little firewood the house was always warm. Beautiful views and we loved everything about the house. A Food market and a General dollar are really close from the property, we will definitely come back again.

My wife and I had a nice stay in the cabin. It was nice and semi-cozy. The temps were definitely low and the wall heater + space heater was not quite enough to adequately heat the large open space. Adding in fire in the fireplace helped!

Was a nice cabin, clean, comfortable, pleasant and homely

You are asked to leave your shoes outside, yet the floors were filthy. We all had black feet and socks within minutes. The floors had not been cleaned in months, if not longer. I contacted Vacasa and someone offered to mop the floors while we were out or drop off a mop and cleaner. I opted for the drop off because our dog was crated when we were out. The water from the mop was black. Vacasa is lucky I cannot post photos.
There were no instructions for anything in the cabin, including the washer/dryer combo. We ran out of clean socks because we had not planned on needing to wear them in the cabin. The wash/dry cycle did not completely dry the clothes and I spent 40 minutes reading various manuals online to find how to run just a dry cycle but was unsuccessful. I brought our clothes home damp.
Since we had no dry socks, we left a day early. It is very disappointing to spend so much money to rent a cabin to not enjoy the stay and have to leave early.
The Vacasa team was relatively responsive by text. I also called and spoke to someone who said they were waiting on photos from me, which I already sent twice before by text. This was the first time we stayed in a rental managed by Vacasa and it will be our last. No one wants to go on vacation and have to deep clean. I received a response that I will be credited $120.96 of my cleaning fee within 5-7 days.
I hope the owner of this cabin reads these reviews. I would be ashamed to have people in my home if it was this filthy.

Life has been so chaotic lately I needed a getaway so I planned a trip to the mountains and booked this cabin and let me just say it is exactly what I needed. Peace and quite, beautiful scenery, fresh air, all of it. My partner and I greatly enjoyed our stay! Thank you so much for having us! ❤️

We really enjoyed our stay at the Venado Retreat. It was in the perfect location, clean and comfortable and well appointed and wifi was strong. We also feel it was a great value for what was offered.

This is a great cabin close to the Big Trees market. There are two decks- one in front and one in back- for relaxing or eating. If you plan to cook at home, bring all your own condiments/spices as they only supply pepper and salt. BBQ is a tiny table top that hasn't been cleaned in a WHILE so be careful with that.

Spent few days as a private work retreat for planning. Quiet, beautiful views and conformable rest!

Very Relaxing weekend is what my wife and I needed and it is exactly what we got! Beautiful spot and comfortable A frame house. Loved the deck and the kitchen . Our dog was a fan too!

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. The place is perfect for a family and the kids (3 & 7) loved the loft area. Kitchen is well equipped, though some dishes were dirty - a quick cycle through the dishwasher fixed that though. Easy check in, lots to do in the area. There's been an addition of a real bear rug since the pictures were taken, and heads up there is extremely limited AT&T reception. Very enjoyable and comfortable stay overall!

Cabin was charming and perfect for our small family of 4 plus our small dog.

Loved the layout and decorating, especially the beautiful kitchen cabinets and retro appliances. Perfect for two people, but will easily accommodate more. Some important things to be aware of, first and foremost, the wall furnace is grossly undersized for the application. It was 45 degrees in the cabin when we arrived, and were only able to get it up to 55 degrees five hours later when we went to bed. By the next morning it was finally up to 70 degrees. There is a beautiful wood burning stove that would certainly help, but plan on bringing your own firewood and kindling. Also, the electric water heater in the basement is very prone to tripping it's integrated circuit breaker. In three nights we had to reset it two times. It was not a big deal for us, but we could see where some people may not be comfortable doing this. We were unable to locate any basic spices and seasonings in the kitchen, so plan on bringing at least salt and pepper. Overall though, we thought this unit was a good value.

Very much enjoyed our stay in Arnold. The cabin was nice.Had a little trouble with the heat. The thermostat seemed irrelevant. We could either turn the heat on or turn it off and the numbers didn't seem to make any difference. Other than that it was great.

First of all I am all praises for this place. Excellent view.. amazing amenities. Timely checkin/checkout. Everything about this place is 5 stars.
But I am giving it 3 stars because there is a bear skin rug in the common area and it sheds a lot of fur... All surfaces imaginable have the fur strands. This also makes bit chunk of the area completely unusable. I would ask the owners/management to get rid of it. I was here with my 8 month old and we had to be very careful and clean a lot of surfaces ourselves before letting the baby play around. I complained this to the vacasa liaison and she apologized for the issue.
I had an issue with the bath towels but that was resolved quickly. Great work on that.

Home was adorable and provided for all our needs. Just wish we could’ve stayed longer!

We vacay with our dogs often and all of the properties we have stayed at up to this point had a vacuum cleaner for us to use. This one did not have one. Fortunately our stay was just for the weekend so not too bad. I am used to vacuuming daily to keep the dog hair to a minimum. Also not a good property if you have elderly with you. The stairs are a bit steep. I have a bad knee and was challenging. Overall, great cabin.

I stayed here with a group of girlfriends for the Witches Walk- in Murphys. The sleeping arrangements were easy and the amenities nice.

The cabin was super clean and quiet. Was able to see turkeys, chipmunks, and deer all from the back deck. Such a peaceful time and spend a lot of time on the back deck with my pup who loved it. The beds were very firm with nice comfy pillows. Also, one thing I did not notice in the pictures when booking was the bear rug. My dog was a little startled by it when we first got there.

Everything included
No need to pack dog bowls, extra snuggle blankets or shampoo/conditioner- you will find everything there! The only problem was the washer/dryer was broken and we had packed light on clothes since we thought we would be able to wash them. The property owner refunded us $25 a day for the inconvenience, but would have been nice to know ahead of time.

Cute A frame
I loved how clean and cozy it was. Lots of windows but would be good to get some curtains to cover up windows during sleep time. Very comfortable sofas. Everything what we needed in kitchen however no dishwasher. The place had only space heaters and fireplace. It was very cold during first night but other nights it was very warm.
