Casa Blue Sky offers one complimentary plowing on the day of arrival if there is a significant snow accumulation on driveway. Our house is very well-appointed and comfortable. Stocked with everything you need to enjoy your mountain vacation in beautiful Angel Fire. Casa Blue Sky is a single story, 3 bedroom/2 bathroom house with an accommodating layout. The house is kept very clean and updated. This is our vacation home and hope you will love it, and care for it, as much as we do. Having spent a career in the Hospitality Industry, our aim as hosts is to make your stay comfortable and memorable. We would love our guests to return year after year and make Casa Blue Sky their regular mountain vacation spot. We are extremely open to all feedback and will respond promptly and positively to any opportunities. We truly value our guests!

Outside
The house offers majestic views from the large front deck. Over the tops of Ponderosa Pines that surround the property you will have a perfect view of Wheeler Peak, the highest point in New Mexico. Sunrise and Sunset from the deck (as well as the living room and master bedroom) are truly awe inspiring and is from which Angel Fire got its name. There are Adirondack chairs for taking in the views and a dining table for outside meals in the warmer months. The back yard is equally enjoyable with a fire pit, Adirondack chairs and a bench swing for relaxing. The back patio has a 5-burner gas grill for preparing delicious and hardy meals for the whole group.
Sleeping Arrangements
The house has 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a luxurious King-sized bed, writing desk and plenty of storage. The room has a full-sized bathroom with tub and shower. The room has a great view of Wheeler Peak and a sliding glass door which opens to the front deck. The black out shades provide plenty of privacy and light blockage for peaceful sleep. The room has a 45’ smart tv.
Bedroom 2 has a new queen size bed with memory phone mattress.
Bedroom 3 has a set of bunk beds and perfect for younger guests in the group.
Bedroom 2 and 3 share a full-sized bathroom with tub and shower.
Living area, Kitchen and Media Room
Upon entering the front door, you will notice the open layout of the living room, kitchen and dining area. The living room is comfy and cozy with room for the whole group. Kick back on the full sized electric reclining media couch and chair or sink into the oversized reading chair. The room has a 45” smart tv and a wood burning fireplace to enhance the experience.
The kitchen is fully stocked with quality cookware (everything you need), a 4-burner gas range with griddle accessory, dishwasher and full-sized refrigerator. Coffee maker, tea kettle, toaster, crock pot and blender are just some of the other kitchen amenities available for use. In the utility closet you will find a full-sized washer and dryer. The dining area is cozy but offers plenty of room for everyone between the breakfast table and the kitchen bar top.
Off of the Living room you will find the game/media room which can be closed off by a heavy barn style door. The room is perfect for watching your favorite movies on the 65” smart tv, playing games on the XBox, or choosing fun things from the board game and puzzle cabinet. It’s a great place for the kids to escape from the boring grownups!

Primary bed was very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Reclining sofas a nice surprise! Game room well stocked. View from front porch, really nice while there is none on the back of the house. The proximity to the club house was awesome as you can walk to grab a burger/salad or enjoy a delicious meal at Elements, the main dining room. Had an issue with the TV operation and the host was very responsive. Had to take off stars because the carpets are old, rippled and stained along with all the area rugs inside and out. It was our experience that the house needs TCL inside and out along with a refresh as example; broken window blinds. It rained when there and if our truck did not have 4 wheel lock, we would not have been able to drive up on the gravel drive and on the drive down, the driveway ended up in the road and had deep ruts. We left a day early.

The property is situated in a great location for feeling like you're in the middle of nowhere. The views are amazing and it's very peaceful and quiet. We saw deer, chipmunks, squirrels, and an occasional hummingbird. If there's a clear night, you can see every star in the sky, along with the Milky Way.
The street wasn't busy and we were able to take our dogs for walks without worrying about a lot of cars. It's easy to get to town and to the trails located nearby.
The property was extremely clean when we arrived, and had everything we needed. The game room was a hit for the kids, and the fire pit was a hit for everyone. Lots of s'mores were made, and there were even skewers in the kitchen.
We had a wonderful time, and Cole was very helpful before and during our stay. No one wanted to come back home.

This lovely place was wonderful. Beds are super comfortable! The neighborhood is quiet and can take walks and enjoy gorgeous views! The house is very well stocked. The front porch is perfect for morning coffee while enjoying tons of birds. We also saw deer, chipmunks and squirrels playing. You can walk to the country club restaurant where food is scrumptious. Location is very convenient to Taos, Red River and Eagle Nest. Also less than 3 miles away is Angel Fire ski slopes where you can ride the chair lift and enjoy views of the entire valley. Walking around Monte Verde Lake (5 minutes away) is a beautiful walk where we saw much wildlife. So much to do close by! Highly recommend this gorgeous retreat in the mountains! House manager and owner very responsive as well.

I can not say enough great things about this house! Not only was it super simple to book, check in and check out. But it had everything that we could have needed and more! The main purpose of our trip was to ski and this house is less than 10 min from the resort, shops and other attractions. This will for sure be a repeat stay for us!

We booked this home as a long weekend trip for our 12th anniversary. As a bonus, we visited during peak viewing for the changing of the Aspens. The pops of color around Angle Fire were amazing!
The property itself was terrific and next to the golf course for those who love to golf. There was major road construction going on between the Club House and the rental property which created a big mess and I wish it had been conveyed to us before we arrived so we could have taken an alternate path to the house.
We've stayed at tons of vacation rentals and this was one of the most well-stocked properties we've found. From a plethora of games and DVDs to numerous extra blankets & towels and a huge stack of firewood out back for the fireplace and fire pit.
The only negatives I have about the entire stay was the height of the bed in the master bedroom. I'm only 5'1" and I had to use the bed frame to climb into bed because the bed was well over my waist. Otherwise, it was a comfortable bed with ample pillows and blankets.
A minor complaint was the front deck and seating areas were not cleaned off. I know it's fall and leaves are everywhere, but I would have thought since they knew there would be guests, the area might have been cleaned up a bit. Neither of these would deter me from staying again or recommending it to others.
I'm a travel consultant, so this property is definitely on my list to offer my clients.

Great property. Very comfortable. We were given the wrong WiFi password when we checked in but property manager was very responsive and it was fixed quickly. Suggestion -- when you check in, send someone up the stairs to unlock the back patio door and bring your luggage, ice chests, etc. through the back instead of the steep stairs.

We enjoyed everything about our experience. The view from the front porch and the terraced back with the fire pit as a central piece. The layout and furnishings were comfortable and up-to-date. Both the owner and the concierge were simply outstanding in their responsiveness to any questions we had both before and during our stay. We loved our 10 day stay here. The area is gorgeous with pines, and is very green. It was nice sitting on the deck. The home was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Cole was immediately responsive when we asked to have the lawn mowed and it was done the day we arrived. There is a lot to see and do. The ski lift ride was great!

Summer getaway
We had an amazing time in Angel Fire. The property was the perfect backdrop to the beautiful scenery and weather. Excellent Snow Experience
Rented the property for a Spring. Break ski getaway for the family. 12 inches of snow fell overnight. The drive was cleared that morning everyone enjoyed the skiing throughout our stay. Could not have asked for a better experience. We will be returning.

Long Weekend Fun
Headed out to Angel Fire for a long weekend of skiing fun! It was our first time visiting Angel Fire, and we had a fantastic time! Mr. Widney provided us with lots of information regarding the property, so it put us at ease. Thankful he mentioned the need for 4-wheel drive or chains, as they were needed to access the property because it snowed the day before we arrived - which made it even better on the slopes! Yes! The home has a great layout and had everything we could possibly want - beautiful views, a game/media room, smart TVs, and an easy drive to the ski basin and downtown. Mr. Widney checked in with us almost every day to make sure we had all we needed. Fantastic home and a great vacation!

Loved Casa Blue Sky
I booked Casa Blue Sky for a last-minute guy’s ski trip to Angel Fire. We had a blast! We loved Angel Fire Resort and can’t wait to come back this coming summer for golf and some horseback riding. The house is a great place for a family vacation and plan on bringing the whole crew next time. The house is roomy and comfortable and had everything we needed. We had a fire going in the fire place every night. The media/game room is really cool and the kids are going to love it. The house is quiet and private, but still close to everything. The views are great! We will be back!

We had the best vacation ever. Could not ask for a better location, beautiful trees around and country club walking distance. Very short drive to the ski basin and grocery stores. Somedays we cooked dinners at home, and this home had everything needed for cooking. Kids loved to watch wild life in the neighborhood! Already planing our next trip here.
