Perfect place to stay with the family. Kids really enjoyed the kayaks and the small beach near by. Great time making smores lakeside and having morning coffee on the porch overlooking the lake. Grocery store conveniently nearby and house not too far for our day trips to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Everything as described. Would definitely return!

Our family enjoyed our quick trip up to Maine. It was a great base for exploring Acadia National Park for the first time. We also enjoyed use of the canoe and kayaks on our last day - what a beautiful lake!! The host was very responsive to my questions. We had plenty of space and we were very comfortable.

The property is very peaceful with loons on the pond. The bathroom setup was quirky as you had to go through the bathroom to get to the big bedroom. We enjoyed our stay in Maine.

We really enjoyed our stay at the lake house. The house sits on the lake and is very clean . The AC works well .
Getting up in the morning with a cup of coffee while we enjoyed the lake view was priceless as well as watching the sun go down. The place is close to Acadia and other attractions. The house manger was most gracious. We had a wonderful time . We would surely go back .

This was our second stay, and we enjoyed every minute. We went kayaking and paddle boarding all over the cove. The cottage is well appointed, and clean. We would definitely come back.

We loved the house! It was very comfortable with lots of amenities. The bed and couch were very comfortable, as well. The yard was beautifully landscaped and the swimming situation was fantastic! Our two year old was able to walk right into the water and the depth was safe enough for her enjoyment, as it was quite shallow for a safe distance. I was able to swim out, too. We loved the wildlife, as well, enjoying the loon calls at night and a resident bald eagle who frequented the pond.
We were not expecting to be so close to neighbors. We felt badly as our two-year old’s tantrums may have caused some issues for them. However, we were grateful for the opportunity to use this beautiful home for a week in such a welcoming area!

The camp was beautiful, very clean and had everything needed. my granddaughters loved the kayaks. we had a great time other then no internet, wifi for two days. possibly needs a new modem. i do not like verbo i think it is very hard to use. wish we had a better way prior to stay to get a hold of host and ask questions. Other then that we loved it there

We planned our trip to Acadia national park and wanted something a little different than a traditional hotel/motel, this was PERFECT!!! The lake was so clean!!! We used the canoe and kayak daily!!!

Very cute house and we enjoyed the lake view. As a source of information, there is a skylight in the bedroom, so if you enjoy sleeping late, the light coming in from the skylight above the bed will be your wake up call. If you are an early riser, it won’t be a problem. The house is well stocked with all you need.

We had an amazing time here. The house was perfect for our family of 2 adults, our kids who are 19, 7 and 5. We had a blast on the lake with our kayaks and the canoe that was there. We were able to kayak over to the private beach where the little kids enjoyed jumping off the rocks just past the roped area. Kids loved making smores by the fire at night. Our oldest and dad went on several fishing trips in the kayaks and caught some nice smallmouth bass and trout. We were also able to take the short drive to Bar Harbor where we explored Acadia National Park and Sand Beach. Tracy was great with communicating and made sure we were taken care of and comfortable. The grill at the house was great and we cooked out almost every day. Waking up to the sound of loons in the super comfy bed with the sliders open was amazing. Thank you for a great family getaway, we would definitely stay here again!

We had a great long weekend in Otis¡. The lake and grounds were very picturesque! The camp has comfortable beds and lots of empty cabinets to store the food we brought! Kayaks got us out onto the lake for swimming at the boulders. Swimming at the camp is great for children as it's sandy and gradual. We love it all!

We had a wonderful mid-summer getaway at Beech Hill Pond. The house was tidy and welcoming. The pond was clean and clear with a gradual shallow approach that was perfect for our dog. We had fun swimming and exploring the pond by kayak. Our favorite part of the house was the wrap around deck with plenty of seating to enjoy meals or just relaxing in the sun (or shade), complete with a gate at the entrance to the deck which allowed our dog to roam freely without concern of him going into the road. We also enjoyed day trips to Caribou and Black Mountains for hiking, Ellsworth for shopping, and road biking on the beautiful rural roads. The host was helpful when we had questions but otherwise allowed us to appreciate our time away undisturbed.

This place is the greatest getaway. We were comfortable as a group of 4. Made use of the kitchen, built a fire in the pit, kayaked on the pond. The location was great. Private enough that we didn’t feel like we were in the neighbors business, 20 mins to restaurants and shops in Ellsworth, 45 mins to Acadia National Park. The pics don’t do this place justice. We will definitely be back!

Took my family and parents to Maine for a getaway to see Acadia NP and just hang out together. This ended up being an excellent spot for that as the deck and lakeside area are excellent and beautiful, and the kids loved having the freedom to just play in the water and kayak to the huge public beach. The property was clean, everything we needed was there (fantastic BBQ grill), and Tracy was very helpful. Being close to the coast but having a freshwater lake to swim in everyday is a nice balance. Ellsworth is easy to get to for everything you need. The lake stays shallow a long ways out if you really like to swim, but you can hop on a kayak to get to deep water if you want so it was not a big deal. Awesome place for kids to play. Overall, it was a great place to stay.

Amazing property. Everything we needed was there. The water front view and access was perfect. We had a fabulous time. Tracy made the check simply and very helpful since this was my first rental through VBRO. When we come visit again this property will be our choice.

Lake Front stay
Clean, well stocked, modern, comfortable all describe this cottage. But our favorite attribute was the lake view. Calmness overtakes you looking out over the back deck. Thank you, Tracy! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Cozy Lakeside
Tracy was a responsive host. Check in was very easy, and the property is beautiful and was very clean.
The pictures make the rooms look smaller than they are. We had a cozy stay and really enjoyed our time!
