About this house rental

Fern Hill Inn is warm and cozy with modern features, a great place to spend time with family. Everything is new, fresh and clean! Spend time on the back deck soaking in the hot tub, watching some TV in the family room, maybe hide away behind the barn door and work in the office or simply enjoy a cup of coffee on the huge front porch.

Fern Hill is a 2 bedroom and 2 bath home. The perfect set up for a single couple, a small family or a traveling couple. She also has a killer front porch and a roomy back deck with hot tub.

The home is on a large 1.5 acre lot and is situated above a walkout basement that is not open to renters. Fern Hill Inn is not in a deed restricted neighborhood, so boat and RV parking are welcome, along work vans for our traveling workers.

Great central Citrus location that is close to so much!

Very clean, nicely decorated property. It has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The hot tub is an extra to be enjoyed. Also, the property has a good size yard. I would definitely stay here again.

Our family arrived late at night and the rental house was easy to find. The front porch was lit, and spacious enough we didn’t feel we woke the neighbors. Quiet neighborhood. The house was gorgeous, modern, comfy/cozy and even had a few welcome home treats for us to snack on. Thank You Linda for all you did. We loved it.

We found the house to be very clean and accurate to a T to the listing. It was very well and thoughtfully stocked with both starter supplies and even new milk and OJ in the refrigerator. The location was convenient to the highway, but not that you'd hear any traffic. It was very well maintained and modernized with appliances that were top notch and not "contractor" models. Would definitely stay there again or would highly recommend it. The owners put a lot of care and detail into making you feel very at home and comfortable.

We felt like royalty! Spotlessly clean, fresh smelling, lots of privacy. So comfortable, we felt right at home our hosts Linda and Tim had thought of everything. Fern Hill was beautifully decorated and a "Happy Place" for us. Thank you.

We visited the area for a HS graduation and the house was perfect for our needs. Nice quiet location with all the amenities you could ask for. All communication with the host was quick and everything was as advertised. The host even went as far as getting us some "Congratulations Grad" balloons for our arrival. We would definitely stay here again when visiting family in Inverness!

The home looks exactly like the pictures. We enjoyed everything about the house especially the hot tub and the privacy from other houses. Linda was easy to deal with and we would stay here again.

This truly is a home away from home. Linda has thought of everything. Our bed was comfy, 2 choices for pillows, great towels, beautiful front porch and nice back porch. The hot tub was new for us but after a long day of bike riding we enjoyed it! It is exactly what the pictures show you. You will love it!

The house was great. The listing was exactly as advertised and then some. The owners had all the things you would need when away from home at this house. My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Fern Hill Inn, it truly felt like a home away from home. As you can see in the pictures, the home is beautiful and modern, Linda thought of everything to create the best experience you could have in a rental. Mornings swinging on the expansive front deck and evenings in the hot tub (listening to Pandora on a Wi-Fi speaker; yep, she thought of everything) after a long day of enjoying the abundance of outdoor activities in Citrus County and Ocala made for a great vacation and have us planning for our next vacation here.

This property was about the best we have ever visited. It was spotless, comfortable, convenient to everything in the area, and quiet. We were extremely impressed with our stay. The check in was very easy. Upon arrival we were greeted by baked goods, milk, and orange juice. This place has everything you will need plus extra. Everything was well thought out. We enjoyed the hot tub and sitting on the deck it was very peaceful. It is close by everything if you want to go sight seeing or going to the beach. The house was very clean. We would highly recommend this place to anyone on vacation you will not regret it.

Really enjoyed the stay. House was very comfortable. Clean. Owner had a little of everything to make it feel like home. She even had some breakfast stuff to help get the day started after a long drive. She answered all questions within a few minutes. Even called and made sure we got in ok. Only thing that would of made the stay better would of been to have a tv on deck for hot tub. I will be recommend this place to everyone

Beautifully decorated very clean house! Attention to detail exceeds expectations! The little extras were not overlooked- A little breakfast pack upon arrival and cookies too!! SO relaxing - so private- so convenient to everything!! And Linda’s communication was wonderful and quick! I absolutely LOVED this place! Thus far, probably my favorite home stayed in yet! Everything was perfect. Linda anticipated everything, and even things we didn't know we needed. Property is spacious and very quiet. Front porch is fabulous, especially for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. If I'm back in the area I will definitely book it again.

Fern Hill Inn was everything we expected--& more. It was a great place to come back to at the end of busy days visiting family in the area & taking care of business. The entire unit is tastefully decorated; the kitchen especially is spacious & well equipped. Linda has earned her status as a Superhost--anticipating the needs of her guests & being available for communication as needed. We will be recommending Fern Hil to others who may be looking for lodging in the Hernando area.

Fern Hill was the perfect place for us to get away to. The residence is clean, comfortable, and is beautifully updated and decorated. Our hosts were super attentive in providing all the necessary amenities which anyone would need when traveling away from home. Their communication with us was also stellar. We are definite return occupants when we return to the area

What an amazing place!

The beautiful home was exactly as described. The owners worked with us on our arrival time, with no problems. They quickly responded to every message. Linda even made a book as a local resource that was invaluable. We were greeted with milk, orange juice, and breakfast. The rain shower (and water pressure) is as wonderful as you may imagine. I have no complaints! I will definitely stay again when we are in the area.
