Resons for 3 stars. The biggest issue is finding the lockbox. We arrived after dark. The instructions make it sound like the lockbox is down by the lower unit. After about 15 minutes of searching we found it on the second post by the upstairs door. Also it is not clear that you enter upstairs for the downstairs unit. The property is a bit dated. Their were not clear instructions on how to use gas fireplace. I finally figured out the batterries to the remote were dead. Remember you are downstairs so if there are guests upstairs and you are going to hear them. Ours were pretty quiet but that coud be an issue. The good: beautiful location and it was very clean and beds were comfortable. With a bit of tweaking this could be 4 star. Would need a some changes to be 5 stars.

We loved staying here. Even in extreme temperatures the house was warm and cozy, the view of the lake was magnificent, the kitchen was well-stocked for cooking (though if you're serious about cooking, bring your own knives), and the area is quiet and peaceful. I didn't get much service but the wifi was great for working remotely and streaming. Can only imagine how incredible it must be in the summer and would love to be back to find out!

This property is one of the most beautiful places on earth. We enjoyed looking at the epic views of lake Champlain all day long from the porch, the kitchen , and the living room. We kayaked and even swam out to the buoy in the cold November waters. The days were warm, cool, and beautiful and it was perfect. Thank you.

Location, location, location
Location, location, location
The property location, view, tranquility was perfect! As mentioned by another guest, finding the key in the three hidden lock boxes in the dark proved a challenge, and didn't realize that I had the bottom floor of the house. Once in though, EVERYTHING was great. You can tell they are doing lots of upgrades (although some items are still under contract- like missing lights, cement floors and raw wooden, unfinished stairs). Clean, great amenities, the oversized sliders created such a beautiful space. Fireplace nice touch. Steps down to lake for swimming. :)

Beautiful waterfront view!
Beautiful waterfront view!
The location is perfect, great veiws, and waterfront access. When we were there it was May and wonderfully quiet. The property is clearly still being developed. That didn't matter to us. It was great to have two bedrooms each with their own bath. We would have appreciated knowing ahead of time that it was a downstairs hard to access entrance, as we are not as spry as we used to be. The directions need to be updated to make entry smoother. We didn't know which door to try to get into. However, it was a lovely spot for us and I would do it again!

Comfortable and beautiful
Comfortable and beautiful
Trouble finding entrance to our suite. Didn't know it was downstairs. Instructions for getting key confusing because there are 2 lockboxes, and the right one is not on the door. Frig freezer was filthy, and pans had roach droppings. But we were comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed the view and time there with those qualifications.
