Great escape into a peaceful orbit

The property was nice and quiet. It was close in proximity to what we wanted to see.
The only negative was the back bedroom was hot and the fans were not enough to keep it cool. I would suggest that the owner put in a window unit to cool it down in the summer.

This house was perfect for our group in town for Ironman Lake Placid. We loved the home. Extremely clean and well decorated! We felt like we had plenty of room and it had all the extra necessities you need such as laundry detergent, Coffee filters, shampoo, and conditioner, etc. The little things that make a difference when flying into a location. The bottom floor was perfect for our group with kids! They loved the twin bed room, the pool table and their own TV!
For anyone coming into town for the Ironman, the house is right on the bike course, which was perfect for our crew to go back to the house after the swim start and be able to stay at the house to see two loops of the bike course before heading back into town for the run.
We will absolutely use this house again if we come back!

We love the Wilmington area in this place did not disappoint. Lots of room and bedrooms, very large gathering space and clean with responsive rental team. A few caveats to note there’s not central air conditioning only one large unit in the upstairs living space bedrooms do not have AC so if it is a hot stay like it was ours with warmer temperatures in the evening sleep may not be ideal. Check-in process was smooth but you have to wait for the team to email you a check-in code 1 hour before actual check-in. With spotty Wi-Fi and cell reception in the Adirondacks this process can be a bit concerning. Overall though this is a nice place and we would stay again.

I would highly recommend this property to anyone! It was clean, spacious if you are traveling with other families and a great location. The kitchen is fully equipped and the beds are comfortable! We will be back!

Really enjoyed the property. Was clean upon arrival and enjoyed our stay. Good location in Wilmington near Lake Everest and Whiteface Mtn. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

This is our second time staying in this complex, first time in this unit. At check in, the code didn’t work so it took a little while to access the house. It was very dirty when we arrived. Our feet were black after an hour of walking around and it was pretty dusty. They had the cleaners come back the next day.
There is no porch or outdoor seating.

We had to come back! The property changed owners and the numbers of beds changed, but they were the best beds ever! While there were cooking utensils and dishes in the property, the only thing I would recommend is more cooking utensils/ Tupperware, etc for those who want to cook at home rather than eat out. Thanks for another great stay!

This house was the perfect location and we enjoyed everything from Wilmington to Lake Placid. I would definitely stay there again. Our only annoyance was that check out is at 10, and there is a long list of items they want you to do before checking out (more extensive than usual, despite a large cleaning fee). After doing an Ironman the day before, it was a hustle to do everything they wanted us to do and get out on time

The decorations are amazing. Great location for ausable chasm, mirror lake, lake placid, and whiteface mouth. We also enjoyed the beach which is just 3 minutes walking from the house.

We had a wedding at the Hungry Trout. Perfect location. close to hiking trails and 15 minute drive to Lake Placid. House was beautifully decorated. Beds were comfortable. The down stairs would be perfect for kids, they would have a blast. Management co. and Bob was very friendly and helpful. Thanks for a nice stay.

This is a great townhouse in an amazing location. Two of us were participating in Ironman Lake Placid and this house was in an excellent location and was really a great house! Plenty of room, amenities are great and the owners even called to make sure we had everything we needed. The only area of improvement could be a dehumidifier in the basement (as it was very damp) and a few additional fans (as it was very hot upstairs). Otherwise I would highly recommend this property!

Lovely stay
This was a great property and a perfect location to really feel like you're in the mountains with all the modern amenities you could want. Peaceful and clean. Even better it is a four minute walk from a lake beach and playground!

ADK Girls Weekend
Ten women came to the region to hike Mt. Marcy and we couldn't have picked a more perfect spot. The townhouse had ample space for everyone, 3.5 bathrooms was awesome and the place was perfect for us.

Very Nice
The photos in the listing are accurate. The house is well equipped and furnished. The layout is spacious and very accommodating for a group of 8-12. Centrally located to the area’s attractions

Fox Family Skiing Adventure
Great location. Kitchen, dining and TV room great place for family to spend time together. Kitchen equipped well. Linens good. Plenty of room. Pressure and hot water in two of the three showers were problematic. The shower in the laundry was great. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

Perfect ski get away
We had a wonderful week here. Well equipped with everything we needed to prepare light meals and comfortably relax after long ski days. Proximity to the mountain couldn’t be beat. The only thing that could have improved our stay would have been heat in the basement. Our little ones stayed in the 4 bed bunk room and with temperatures every night below zero it was much too cold to do anything (even change clothes) in that room.

Thanksgiving with the family
We got there early and check in was still smooth and easy. Everything we needed to know was listed on the wall when we walked in. It was a great weekend spent there with the family and would stay there again
