The location of the home is perfect! It is just a short walk (100yds) to the beach - the access walkway is right next to the home! Not only can you easily walk to the beach but you can also walk right in to the heart of Pensacola Beach - shopping, restaurants, mini golf, ... to many activities to list! As an added bonus, the Beach Trolley stops directly near the house to make it easy for everyone to get around without walking or driving.
The home itself is nothing short of amazing! It features a third floor with two main glass walls that open up entirely to a custom built pool! Not only that , but this pool area has an outdoor bar, an outdoor bathroom, a large modern sectional - and views of the gulf and entire island!

Great Location. Plenty of Room. Elevator was great for bringing up luggage & groceries. Beds were comfortable. It was very clean but the only reason I gave 4stars was because we saw a couple of roaches.
It might be time for a pest spray. The top floor open floor plan was perfect for us. We could cook and still spend time together watching the Huge Flat Screen TV. The WiFi was good enough to stream movies. The kitchen had MOST of what you need for cooking. But, was missing a few items. We had to purchase a can opener. But, the Exxon Market just down the street had basic necessities. The owner might also update the cutlery. Cutting knives were very dull. Other than that we made it just fine. We had no issues with management or any reason to call them. Everything worked great. Only disappointment was TV Channels were limited. We were there the week of Thanksgiving and weren’t able to watch one of the football games because the tv did not have FOX channel. Overall, our family had a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend this vacation property.

While there were several repairs that needed to be made while we were there, maintenance was quick to get there and fix things.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house itself is fantastic, with such a great location and great bones. We really liked the common area with panoramic windows. However, the place needs some modifications. Pool turned green really quick into the stay and was leaking below. Some faucets didn’t drain in the bathrooms, ice machine wasn’t working, wine cooler wasn’t working, derogative words written in elevator near 3rd floor level. With a little bit of TLC and and upgrading, this place could be one of the best houses on the coast!

The house does no disappoint with the view. The kitchen was missing some basics which for the amount of money you spend it should be there. No wine glasses not even plastic ones, cork screw, can opener, etc. The house is showing its age and needs just some updating and fresh paint especially on the outside.

We loved our stay and the house was nice. It has many features that do not work (I wish we we had been told ) ice maker in freezer was broken, under counter ice maker at wet bar was broken, pool lights were broken, fans in 3 of 4 bedrooms did not work (properly repair could not program remotes that didn’t work) plus house itself it very dark. Another issue - most plugs & outlets were by ceiling not counter height or by floor - try charging cell phones from ceiling???!!! We had fun but going to grocery daily for ice was a drag, and I would have appreciated more help from guest services!!!

I have to give this house 5 stars, because we had such a successful and amazing family vacation!
The top floor, which is kitchen, living and dining is perfect for a large group.
We had 3 small children with us and the roof top pool was a huge hit! The pool has lots of lounge/outdoor furniture and has nice views of the ocean.
The house is a short pleasant walk to the white sand beach.
The house definitely has wear and tear and the furniture is comfortable’ish. Also, be prepared to walk up over 40 steps to get groceries to the kitchen.
Overall, we had a great time with lasting memories.

The top floor, which is kitchen, living and dining is perfect for a large group.
We had 3 small children with us and the roof top pool was a huge hit! The pool has lots of lounge/outdoor furniture and has nice views of the ocean.
The house is a short pleasant walk to the white sand beach.
The house definitely has wear and tear and the furniture is comfortable’ish. Also, be prepared to walk up over 40 steps to get groceries to the kitchen.
Overall, we had a great time with lasting memories.

Access to the beach is very close and the beach is not too busy and is beautiful. Upon arrival I was told I owed another $120 due to tax changes even though I had already paid in full. We were waiting for our access code to check in. At 4pm I called and they said check in was changed to be between 4-6pm instead of 4. We went out to dinner while waiting for our code. At 6pm I still did not receive the code so I called and they finally provided it. I think 6pm is a very late check in time and that information was not provided ahead of time. There are a lot of repairs and maintenance needed in the home i.e. garbage drawer off track, one bathroom door would not close, ice maker does not work, drier handle broken off and had to use butter knife to open, mold or some sort of black stain around some ceiling vents, and we came across a few roaches. Just a lot of wear and tear. Also, if you plan to watch TV, you might want to bring a roku with. Very minimal channels are offered and only 3 of the 4 bedrooms had a TV. We were not inside most of the time so it wasn’t a huge deal but we do like to watch TV in the evenings before bed. Again, the location and pool/deck area were great and I would consider staying here again but for the price we paid I think some of these items should be taken care of.

Beautiful house but needs a few repairs. The elevator never worked so my mom (who just had knee surgery) had a difficult time. Overall lovely house close to beach and great views. Pool wasn't ready for us but they cleaned it up by the third day.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the house was amazing, my friends and I had a wonderful time. steps away from the beach, great rooftop view and plenty of comfortable beds. Wish we could of used the rooftop pool more but the weather wasn’t hot enough for it yet. I would definitely come to this house again!

Excellent property, great check in process and staff very friendly and helpful. Several physical items need attention which we put on a list with the property manager when we checked out. Did need a new toaster first day and staff very responsive in getting us a new one. We were unable to reach front desk upon check out but left three messages so assume all OK. All in all, a great week.

We enjoyed our stay at the High Life house. The only complaints that I have is the elevator did not work, the only TV that we could get to connect was the one in the living room.

Amazing house, Amazing Location!
I booked this properly for a 14 person vacation down in Pensacola. The property itself was fantastic. As a group of 14, we spent a ton of time together, but never felt crowded. Bedrooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. The bathrooms were plentiful, large and clean. The best space in the house was the third level, where the kitchen, common area, and pool are located. The three glass slider panels on the two walls adjacent to the pool fully open up, which gives an awesome open air feeling. We even had a 14 person family style dinner at the large dining room table one day. There's a fridge, large cooler and outdoor toilet out by the pool. There's also an ice maker to keep the cooler drinks cold. Pool was beautiful, and while not huge, was plenty large for my entire group to enjoy at the same time. We spent a ton of time out there. Be aware, while you can sync your music to the indoor common room/kitchen speakers (which we used constantly), the outside speakers are disabled, I assume due to fear of too much noise for the neighbors. Sound does carry outward a good distance. If you want outdoor pool music, I suggest bringing a few small USB speakers. The roof deck (4th level) had amazing views. It is only accessible via an outdoor spiral staircase, so be aware of that if you have mobility issues or an uneasiness on narrow/steep spiral stairs. There are instructions on the elevator if you need it, but we never used it (accessible for floors 1-3). There are no chairs/furniture on the roof deck and if you wanted any up there you'd need to carry it from the pool level and use the aforementioned spiral stairs. Never attempted it and never missed not having furniture up there (better to stand around). The pool doesn't have any floats or noodles but we left 4 floats behind, which may still be there (you're welcome). The beach is only a couple hundred yards away and amazing. Oh! be aware the check in location is a mile from the house so if you are Ubering around like me, you'll need to account for that. Not a big deal,. just wanted to mention it. The Management team was super responsive to any inquiries (they get an A++). Last thing I will leave you with...if you intend to make a run at the Flora-Bama Bar (you should), it's a 45 min drive. Use "Freddie the Transporter" to get you out there and Coast Cab to get you back home. Rates were solid and both teams provided excellent service. I did a lot of research, so trust me on this.

Family fun vacation
We rented this property for a week for our family(16 of us). It was the perfect place for us. The pool right out the door was enjoyed immensely. 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor for the kids and grandkids and one on the main floor for us worked out perfect. Would definitely stay there again.

Overall a Great Place to Stay for Vacation
Pros about the VRBO: Great location, just about a block away from the beach. House was very spacious and clean. The elevator was a big help when we had to haul heavy items from the main living area (3rd floor) to the 1st floor and vice versa. The best part for us was the pool located on the 3rd floor overlooking the beach. And the rooftop view was even more amazing! You can see the beach and the gulf :-) We went up there just to watch the sunsets. My family had a great time and we shared some unforgettable memories.
Cons about the VRBO: There was a dark stain on the ceiling in the main living area on the 3rd floor, which appeared to be mold. We informed the service man who helped fix the electrical outlet in one of the bedrooms so the TV would work. There was no TV in one of the bedrooms, which is a bummer for a family that enjoys watching TV before bedtime. The doorbell didn't work, which wouldn't be a big deal if the main living area wasn't on the 3rd floor. And lastly, the patio furniture was old and worn and some cushions were ripped.
But all in all, I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone else.

Awesome House
House was amazing! Lots of room, great view, and fantastic pool area. The speakers in the pool area didn’t work, which was a bummer, and it looked like the maintenance crew was there, but didn’t finish putting up their tools, ladders, etc., but it didn’t stop us from enjoying our vacation. Thanks!
