We had a great family vacation!
4.7
We were a family group of 9. Age range 77 to 8 yrs. Everyone enjoyed the week. We were able to rent a boat for the younger kids to go tubing, and as it turned out, they had a hard time getting enough time on the tube as they were having to share with their parents. Lol. Lots of swimming off the dock and lots of early morning coffee on porch listening to the birds. Having the extra downstairs Living area and extra kitchen for the teenagers and younger kids was great. Overall, great trip. Wouldn’t hesitate to rent again.

We had a great time at the Crane Lakehouse. House is well kept and appointed, surrounded by trees, while having a good view of Lake Chatuge from the primary living area.
We used the dock for a boat rental and enjoyed swimming from it and using the paddle boards stored at the house.
Only criticism is the mattress in the master bedroom is very hard. With 3 bedrooms this was not an issue for us.

This has to be the best house with the best owners. I have never been to that lake before and OMG is was amazing. Also the owners were absolutely amazing. I was up there with 3 teenagers and 2 other dads. They loaned us life jackets for the boat we rented, and also let us use their personal fishing net. Can’t wait to book this house again!!!

My first visit to this property and it was a great one. Beautiful home and property and good communication with the property management. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly.

Great Lake property that’s close to everything!

Really enjoyed this home and the town of Hiawassee. Very relaxing and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again. Convenient to town and other points of interest. Would love to see some more attention paid to outside maintenance and lighting especially if I were planning to stay in warmer weather. Overall a good experience.
4.7
Great property with plenty of room for our 9 family members. We enjoyed the woods, water and fellowship. We were able to rent a boat at the local marina. What a beautiful lake with mountains all around! Extremely convenient to town.

We had a great time with our family. Outside lighting could be better.

We had a wonderful time. The house was perfect.

This property met and exceeded our expectations! There is plenty of room for the whole family. Having a kitchen on both the first and second floor made it so nice to vacation with extended family. The dock, kayaks, paddle boards, and fire pit made for great memories. The very best part of our experience had to be our host, Priscilla. She was prompt to respond to questions and concerns. She also went WAY above and beyond on the day that AC stopped running due to a clogged drain line. She came over right away and determined the problem while speaking to the AC repairman by phone. Next, she actually climbed into the scorching attic and proceeded to make a temporary fix until the AC repairman could get there the next morning. To say we were pleased with her efforts to ensure our comfort would be an understatement!

Plenty of room for everyone! Kitchen well stocked with necessities and the home had everything you would need! Lovely to have kayaks and SUPs! We had so much fun and will return!

We loved the view and the paddle boards and kayaks. Tons of room for the family. Great overall!

We throughly enjoyed this house. We come up every summer and bring our jet skis and sometimes the boat. We brought both and had the best time out on the water. The house was very roomy and had all the items needed for cooking, even the marshmallow holders for the fire pit. There were more then enough blankets and pillows and plenty of space for everyone to hang out together. I would stay again for sure!

I treated myself and my family for two weeks to celebrate my 70th birthday. I could not have chosen a better property in which to do so. The amount of space, variety of activities, and just the beauty of the place could not have been any better! The icing on the cake was its proximity to Atlanta. This allowed everyone who needed to go home for a bit, to do so, and easily come right back.
Priscilla helped us throughout our stay if we had any questions and could not have been any nicer.
Can’t wait to return!

The lake is very peaceful. Owner was very good at communicating with us and friendly. The inside kitchen was beautiful. There were a lot of extras as far as kayaks and canoe and paddle boards and fire pit that were a lot of fun. The things that could be improved are a deep clean as far as inside cabinets and rugs. The toilets also kept plugging up. Had a great time!

The house was so beautiful and so clean and spacious. It fit our 5 children and 4 adults very comfortably with room to spare. The lake was gorgeous with a great view of the sunset. We will likely stay here again in the future!

Huge, immaculately clean rental house! Accommodations were perfect for various family members in our group. The property manager, Priscilla, was wonderful to work with.

This was a lovely decorated house with a spacious kitchen that allowed for a lot of cooking with the family of 7 for the holidays. The view of the lake and mountains was beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed the location as we visited several small mountain towns including Helen, Haysville, Hiawassee, Blairsville and Blue Ridge during our stay. Highly recommend!

Clean, well styled lake house close to nearby activities! On lake with gear!

We came to sail and it was great! The property, dock, home and Hiawassee hospitality were amazing. The concierge took care of every detail and our expectations were exceeded.

Lake Chatuge is a beautiful lake nestled in the mountains. We had awesome sunsets from the included dock. We brought our boat and kept in the slip.. House was very nice and clean. Very well stocked kitchen. We would definitely stay here again!

My family enjoyed a pleasant week at this rental. The lake is beautiful and the kids utilized the Kayaks which they enjoyed. While the weather wasn't always cooperating, I enjoyed sitting on the covered porch viewing the lake and catching up on some much needed reading.

My husband and I came to lake for part of our honeymoon, specifically choosing this property because it was on the water with a private dock. We got there Monday afternoon and starting on Wednesday morning workers were on our dock, making it impossible for us to be on the lake. We messaged the owners and the property manager called to apologize, letting us know a new dock was being put in (something that was not previously communicated to me), and told me we could use the dock directly next door, as it was owned by the same people and the house was not being used. This arrangement worked well for the rest of Wednesday, but then the house and dock next door became occupied so we were back to being without a dock until Friday afternoon. It was incredibly frustrating, as we did not get to enjoy the lake as we wanted for our honeymoon and the communication to let us know this would happen was poor. Had I know that this was going to be an issue, I would have found a different house to stay, especially given the amount of money we paid.
Otherwise, the house was clean and well stocked. The kayaks and SUPs provided were nice, though we didn’t get to use them every day as we had hoped.

What a hidden Gem. While it was a small walk down to the lake it was well worth it. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards along with fishing off of the dock. Our kids really enjoyed swimming in the lake and fires at night. Couldn't have asked for a better location or accommodations. We will definitely be back
