About this house rental
Your idyllic summer vacation is awaiting you at the WEHVFUN home in the heart of Rehoboth Beach, just steps from downtown dining and shopping, the beach and boardwalk, and historic Funland, which has drawn generations of families to its rides and games for over sixty years. Our 1910 Victorian beach house was recently renovated to include mini splits that provide all six bedrooms (all with private Bathrooms) with individual heat and air conditioning. The dining room has a pine-washed farmhouse table with benches seating 14, and the living room's overstuffed couches and lounge chairs are the perfect place to relax, plan your day and enjoy the mounted 60-inch television and gas fireplace. Enjoy the spacious front porch with a cup of coffee in a rocking chair in the morning, or enjoy the energy of the passing crowds as you enjoy snacks and drinks at night. The back yard has tables, chairs and colorful rocking chairs where you can unwind before you enjoy the outdoor shower, grill your dinner, or just revel in the colorful oasis of flowers around you.

Everything about this property was special! The home was fitted with everything you need. The ice maker was a big feature with all we brought with us to fill coolers for spirits, kids milk and various other stuff. We really enjoyed the hot and cold outdoor shower. The kids loved that! The flower garden out back was beautiful. OH, and the beach was nice too! 😃

In all of our stays in Rehoboth, we have never stayed in a prettier or well equipped home. With six bedrooms and seven baths, the house was spa ious with plenty of privacy for our group of 8 -- four adults, two 17 year olds, a twelve and a thirteen.The property manager Melissa couldn't have been more helpful. We highly recomment it for groups from 10 to 16, depending on the number of adults sharing a bed.

This former B&B is an awesome place for a family group to gather together to enjoy Rehoboth Beach. The decor is fun and beachy, each of the separate rooms has an en suite bathroom which is wonderful, and despite being just a block from the boardwalk and Funland, the house is on a quiet street - we all slept very well. The outdoor spaces are also fantastic and flower-filled, and there is a great herb garden available for cooking on the back porch. We spent lovely afternoons reading and people-watching from large front porch. And the outdoor shower is a huge plus.
Just two logistical notes that might be of interest if you are considering this rental:
- The only TV is in the middle of the downstairs central gathering area, so if you have kids who want to watch a lot of TV, it can be bit of an inconvenience for others.
- While the kitchen is awesome and very well outfitted, it is a small galley kitchen that really only accommodates one or two chefs at a time, especially when the refrigerator or dishwasher doors are open.
Melissa is a very responsive and gracious host. We received a ton of information and answers to questions before our arrival, and a few small maintenance issues needed her attention during our stay, and she was fast and efficient at taking care of us and the issues.

We had a 3 generations of family on this trip to the beach. The house was perfect...size and location. We loved having the ability to park our cars for the week. We used our feet to get us to the beach, boardwalk, shops, and restaurants. We went on a lot of bike rides (the Junction and Breakwater trail is very close). The house feels very homey and has some fun and unique decorations. The kitchen and butlers pantry are well stocked. We loved having family meals around the large table and sitting on the front porch in the evenings.
Communication with Melissa was fantastic.

We all had a wonderful time! The house was perfect especially with each bedroom having it’s own bathroom! The location is so close to the beach and Funland! The porch was great and flowers were beautiful! Thanks for sharing your house with us

We stayed with a multi-generational family ages 6-94 and had a great time. First floor bedrooms, bathrooms for all, large table, proximity to beach and Funland all unbeatable. Melissa was very communicative and helpful.

Fabulous and Fun-filled Family Vacation!
Our entire week was wonderful! My grandchildren, my children, and my husband and I enjoyed staying in the renovated house-The colorful “beach” accents were amazing! The spacious house allowed us to each have our own room, our own bathroom, and control of the air conditioning in those areas. This was like a “ home away from home” because the house had everything from matches to coffee makers to dish towels. The front porch was a favorite hangout for breakfast or lunch, for relaxation or reading, and for evening card playing! We also admired all the flowers, which are spectacularly beautiful!
The location of the house is great since it is within walking distance to the beach, souvenirs, shopping, candy, ice cream, restaurants, and Funland!
This is the second year in a row that our family has rented this house. We will cherish the memories made here with our family for many years to come!

Location, Location, Location!
WEHVNFUN offers the opportunity to do just that! EVERYTHING that Rehoboth has to offer is within walking distance of this comfy home. Each room has a comfortable bed and its own shower. Sleeps 15-16 easily! Well equipped kitchen ready to serve! Huge refrigerator/freezer, double oven and an independent restaurant-grade ice maker you can't deplete! Free (yes FREE) parking for five vehicles on site, plus parking passes to park more off site. Cozy outdoor space was perfect for grilling and cracking crabs! Our group had a fantastic time! We Had Fun!!

Wonderful home close to everything!
Our group of 12 (2 children under 11) and 10 adults (many of whom were working remotely at various times throughout the week loved that the kitchen was large enough to make enormous dinners, that the dining room could accommodate all of us, and that the rooms and living spaces were spacious enough to provide privacy for work calls and fabulous spots to gather -- whether all together or in smaller groups. We enjoying using the back entrance as a stage for a "talent show" at the end of the week and marveled over the gorgeous flowers throughout our stay. Truly a gem!

Rehoboth getaway
The homeis quite spacious with plenty of room for our medium sized family. We loved the front porch and enjoyed several dinners there as well as late night relaxing.. We also loved the shower cabana in the backyard with plenty of hot water and soap, shampoo and conditioner right there. That really helped shed the sand that comes with us from the beach.
Our only quibble was the freezer that had trouble keeping things frozen due to the very very hot weather. David came out to look at it right away when we called, but there wasn't anything he could do, and it did start to freeze things back up on the two cooler days we had. In hindsight we should have bought a bag of ice to help the poor freezer out.
But even with that minor inconvenience our visit was great

This property is ideal for medium-sized groups who primarily intend to enjoy the beach and the dining and nightlife in town. The house itself offers nice front porch and backyard areas for socializing, but with its great location, you'll want to get out and about.

Just right!
This house was just right for our multigenerational group ranging in age from 5 to 83! Everyone loved the easy walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, and Funland! We all enjoyed the beautiful porch for meals, arts and crafts, card games, and relaxation. There was plenty of room inside for everyone to have their own bedroom AND bathroom! Overall, a huge hit!!

Former bed and breakfast near the beach.
My family loved this house. The location can't be beat--so close to the beach and downtown. This house used to be a bed-and-breakfast and many features of its former life are unusual and fun--like the giant ice machine and VERY well stocked kitchen. I especially appreciated the quality of the mattresses and that each room has its own batrhoom. The sizeable living room and giant tv were great for movie night. We will definitely be back. Communication with property manager was seamless. Highly recommend.
