This apartment was home away from home for my family of 3. Morning walks on the beach with my coffee was the perfect start to my day. In between Paradise beach and Playa Fortuna. All amenities of home provided. Beach chairs, boogie boards, towels and an outdoor shower to rinse the sand away. Full kitchen, WiFi, AC in all rooms. Washer and dryer. Short walk to SolEl restaurant for breakfast/ brunch, try the coquito French toast. While enjoying the beach take a short beach walk to Carabali Beach house for daiquiris, pastelillos with beef and sweet plantains. Short drive to Amigos grocery which has ALL you need for cooking, bottled water, fruit and snacks. I recommend this location to anyone wanting a local living vibe. No tourists so you have the beach all to yourself.

This condo was perfect for us! The backyard ocean was amazing to cool down in after visiting the rainforest or kiosks. Great location, beautiful beach decor, with an amazing porch that we used every evening. The hosts were very informative and gave many activity and restaurant suggestions. If we come back to this area, we will definitely stay here again.

The condo was clean, comfortable and perfect location. We were right by the Luquillo beach and kiosks. Close drive to the rainforest. Close to our boat charter in Fajardo. The hostess and cohost were amazing. Many recommendations given. We had everything we needed for the beach. The tide was lower on our first day so we had a great time on the beach access at the condo. Checkin was easy. AC was cold. We loved it and would return again. Outside of building is a little wore and neighborhood doesn’t look the best but nothing to worry about. It was quiet and we felt perfectly safe. Gated condo. We will be back!

Stayed with 5 of my friends and we had a wonderful time. Location was close to the rainforest and Icacos where we wanted to go. Staff was amazing and checked in on us daily. If we are vet in the are would definitely give them a call again.

We were a family of 4, 15 years old and 9 years old. We loved it here. 1st floor apartment that was super clean and convenient. We loved the private beach, yes it got “small” during high tide but the kids and us loved it. So many folks say it was sketchy neighborhood, we felt safe. Everything was available and convenient for cooking, sleeping and relaxing! We we pleasantly surprised when we arrived to have sandwiches and water, snacks.. we arrived late and it was just a pleasant surprise! Thank you. The only helpful tool would have been to have the washer/dryer hookup for convenience. While the rental clearly states it is not, washing towels or drying towels “in house” would be convenient. Otherwise we loved it here and would definitely stay again!!

Everything was amazing...from the cleanliness to the location to the property manager and extra touches. Truly unforgettable experience from start to finish. I will definitely rebook for my next trip to PR. So glad I chose here instead of a resort!

It was an enjoyable experience. We were minutes from the activities we had planned for the trip. Thanks for having us.

The place is located in a nice secure area. We had a great time exploring and swimming in and around the beach. The manager was available every time I called and was so helpful and gracious. We had an awesome time and a breathtaking view.

Great place. Great views. Great location. Great hosts. Not much more to say, it's just like it looks like in the pictures. Very clean. Location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. If you like the pictures and the price, there's no downside.

We loved waking up to the sounds of the ocean each morning! The host and property manager were very attentive and thoughtful. There were 4 great beach chairs that we used each day. The beach is about a 15-20 minute walk which was very helpful on the weekend days when the traffic at the beach and food kiosks was crazy.
We loved it here and would definitely return!

My husband and I had been to the Luquillo area of PR 2 years ago. We were very excited to return this Spring Break/mid-March with our 16-year-old b/g twins.
The property is accurately described and adequately suited our family's needs. We typically made breakfast at the condo and enjoyed coffee on the veranda. The kitchen has a cook top, but no stove. This is PR and you don't need it on vacation anyway! I simply wanted to point this out.
One bath towel and beach towel are provided for each guest. All the usual supplies are on site. And Mirnalis is one text away for help, suggestions, needs and she is simply wonderful. If you have a question, reach out. She is there to help. We were grateful for her assistance at check in, as noted. I appreciate her running through the basic in person.
We loved Chacky's because of the location! To get to the kiosks and beach, go LEFT, down the street through the residential area as far as you can. Go until you hit the sports field, cross through it and you are at the Kiosks or can walk on the beach. My husband and I walked that way most morning and took a quick dip in the Balneario Luquillo beach area before returning.
Go the RIGHT, walk to the basketball court, and you can enter another beach area. Go down the beach further and you will quickly hit the "Beach House". Great drinks and great empanadas here! They close around 5, so go there for a HH cocktail.
Now...Keep going down the beach, cross the shallow river, keep walking around the bend and you will come to the Wyndham Resort. You can walk up from the beach. Dining and drinks available there too.
With 16 year olds we also walked to Vagon for dinner. Go for the fish tacos for SURE. I also recommend the pinchos sold many days just up the street, where the road meets the Highway 3. $3 each, chicken or pork.
For swimming and a beach day, we drove the short distance and parked at Luquillo beach. Load those chairs provided in the trunk and enjoy the day (MARCH guests).
We came from cold, snowly MN and had a great time with our teens.
( * I understand ocean conditions change with the season in PR. Please note this review is for mid-March. There were Rip Tide warnings daily. Be aware of the conditions and be safe. And of course, that has nothing to do with the condo, but I say it as I noted "swimming" which may not be deemed safe my some.)

When we got to the property the views took our breath away was so much better than the online pictures , we could walk right out to the ocean from our veranda and sit in the lawn chairs to just take in the beautiful ocean sounds and colors, its so peaceful and private that it makes you forget any worries you might of had ! We couldn't of asked for a better hostess than Mirnalis she is so nice and makes you feel like your part of her family the way she made sure all our wants and needs were met, she not only had left a bottle of amazing tasting wine at the condo but the best puerto rico coffee I've ever had ! The kiosks are really close to the condo with there authentic Puerto Rican foods and drinks but our favorite place to go for dinner was a local place called Vigon for amazing fish tacos:) Luquilla beach is beautiful and in the same area as the kiosks so after eatting at one of the many venues you can buy a Pina Colada from the kiosks and take a walk on the beach! The day before we were to head back home Mirnalis stopped by to give us fresh baked bread and gifts to take home and did far more than was expected!! We highly recommend this condo and you won't be disappointed! :)

First, the hosts are really great - such nice and helpful ladies. The unit was clean and some sweet gifts were left. It's close to El Yunque, and a short drive to the docks in Fajardo.
However, future renters should know a few things:
The washer/dryer were locked and not allowed to use,
They wrap the mattresses in plastic, very uncomfortable,
The master AC unit was too loud to sleep with it on,
Lots of rules, even extra $$ for using AC too much.
Sketchy neighborhood (not walkable).
Also, no fault of the hosts, the beach in the stretch of Luquillo that this unit resides has eroded, and the waves hit the sea wall continuously (so it's a view-only beach front). Some homes have actually collapsed into the sea along this stretch.

we had a wonderful stay and property manager was great.
My daughter and I fished from property every morning and swam local beaches too. PR is blessed with some of gods best work. However the storms have left parts of the Island struggling to recover.Help this struggle and visit this paradise.

We enjoyed our stay! The ocean was a little too rough to swim at the property - it’s best to go the Balneario. I thought from the description that you could walk along the beach to get to Balneario, but the waves hit the wall in that area, so it was not possible. The kitchen was well equipped and it seemed pretty safe. The manager was responsive and left us unexpected snacks that were appreciated at our late arrival. Thank you!

I can't emphasize enough how great of a time we had while staying in Luquillo at Chacky’s Beach House. The view from the back deck was great, you will see it the instant you pull into the parking lot. I am already missing my morning coffee with the view of the sunrise. The beach was small when we were there but we spent a good amount of time in what was our own private beach. The stairs to get down are still a bit rough but they worked fine for us. We were within 30 minutes to El Yunque, the Fajardo Bio Bay, the Ferry (book your tickets early) to Culebra and so much more. Stop out and eat at the local restaurants and food trucks, it is worth it. We look forward to visiting again as soon as we can.

Beautiful place
This home away from home was perfect! It is very well kept, clean, and welcoming. There is a beautiful view of the ocean with patio doors that open all the way. There are other beaches, restaurants , and shopping within walking distance. All the kitchen utensils you could need were there. Showers even had shampoo, conditioner, and body soap included! There are also beach chairs and boogie boards to use at the beach. The owner is super friendly and very easy to contact. Would definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Great apartment right on the ocean. Loved sitting on the porch listening to the waves crash! Marsalis the property manager was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Would gladly stay again!

Great home overlooking the ocean
This was a wonderful space for our family of four young children to unwind after spending the first part of our vacation in Old San Juan. The bedrooms offered plenty of room for our kids and they slept great here. We loved hanging out on the patio and listening to the waves while watching the birds. The wall was under construction so there was no beach access and the beach wasn’t walking distance for us with an under 2 year old and our things, including the great beach toys provided by the host. We still were able to visit our first night there and our boys had a great time swimming, building, and collecting shells and sea glass. We also visited El Yunque (reservations are required for the park but not the visitors center so if you can’t get reservations I would still recommend checking it out - the visitors center is great!) and Carabalí, both were just a few minutes’ drive
The best part about this home was the host arranging for someone to meet us at the property and show us around. We hadn’t experienced that in years and it really made our time here easier and made us feel very welcomed.

Great location, great amenities, good privacy.
This is a great property to stay at and we had a wonderful time.
The location is great for reaching Luquillo and Seven Seas beach. The neighborhood is quiet and you can hear the ocean waves against the shore which is just feet away.
A great place to stay at!

Fabulous stay
This house was perfect for us from the location to the amenities! The check in process went smoothly and the property manager, Rick, did a fantastic job communicating with us and giving us suggestions for places to eat and activities to try. Loved our stay. Waking up to the sound of the ocean was so relaxing!!

Amazing home away from home!
We had a wonderful stay at Aida’s place! Rick, the Property Manager was very helpful and friendly. The view, the location, and the space was all exceptional. A 5 minute drive to Luquillo beach with shops and fine dining with some of the best Puerto Rican cuisine. Just very minor issues including the hallway shower that was dripping and the toilet seat in the second bath was loose but Which was no big deal. For the next renter,
Enjoy your stay!

Gorgeous ocean get-a-way
The stay at Playa Fortuna was wonderful. The apartment manager, Rick, was so helpful and friendly and the owner, Aida, was delightful, easy to communicate with, and responsive. Rick offered several practical and helpful suggestions for grocery stores, dining, and places to see. The apartment was a great size and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, very accessible, just a beautiful walk along the ocean or through the neighborhood to the Luquillo Kiosks for fun ambiance, food, or souvenirs. The beach at Playa Fortuna is also a playful place to visit and a hike through the rainforest is a must!
Thank you for hosting us this December. We felt very safe with COVID precautions and very welcomed to be in your beautiful space! We will reccomend it and hope to be back someday.

Fortuna condo
Nice place, it was very clean, had a nice view of the ocean, good location to best that Luquillo has to offer. The only downside was there was no hot water so showering was not relaxing rather quick. I couldn’t really organize a time to meet the person that checked us in (she was very nice) because of business reasons and she was uncomfortable going to the condo without anyone present, I would’ve much rather she go in and fix the problem.
