Chuck was amazing and such a gracious host. Loved the location, short walk to the beach, central for both an Oregon and redwood adventure, and close to one of the best breweries around!

This is a large RV unit in the host's backyard. It is very close to the beach, dining, shopping, etc. The unit is very clean and accurately described.
Chuck, the host, is a nice guy who has lots of info on local sites to check out. He did a thorough walkthrough of the place, making sure we knew how to operate the heater, TV, stereo, etc.
For the price you can't beat this place.

This was such a cute little place to stay. It’s in a great location with lots to see near by and property owner has lots of input as to amazing sites and food places to choose from. Loved this place. We would most definitely stay there again

We loved this RV for the following: super close to the beach and easy to walk to. Tranquil and peaceful once inside the RV. It is in a private backyard but felt very private and no one bothered us while we were staying. It felt like plenty of room for the two of us.
The only downsides were small/minor. The coffee maker leaked, the toaster just breathed smoke when it turned on. we did have an issue turning on the oven but I'm sure Chuck would have helped us out. It was the last night and we just used the microwave instead.
We found a cob web in the corner and some dishes needed a rinse before using. so I don't feel that cleaning staff does a great job. Sheets, towels, etc. were clean though. With a few updates and replacements I would most definitely stay here again.

This property was in walking distance of the beach, harbor, historic lighthouse. We were able to walk to the highly rated Sea Quake restaurant and brewery which exceeded our expectations. Close drive to Jedidiah Smith Redwoods Park. Comfortable space for 2 people. Dedicated parking space. Very quiet.

It’s a trailer…an old trailer with a tiny old box TV, a shower head with volume and pressure similar to a kitchen faucet, missing lightbulbs (including both bedside lights :o( and parked on a small grass strip wedged between 3 houses just off the street.
However…the location to ocean is very good (there is NO quaint “downtown” area - which we didn’t know - so being in the city centre has no benefit), the bed was very comfortable, there’s a moderately well-equipped kitchen, the fridge is large and very cold and you can walk to Sea Quake (which has great beer, food and big screens that play sports). The owner lives on the property and answers calls, but doesn’t respond to all texts.
Compared to other places in Crescent City it’s most reasonably priced and we may return for a couple of nights, but not a week (more to do with the city than the RV though).

The host is the best, the location is perfect, the property is quiet and clean, what's not to love? I/We stay here as often as we can. Beachcombing and daily Redwood hikes = heaven on Earth during everything but stormy weather (check WeatherUnderground for oncoming whoppers), but heck even when we had 4 days of howling early Spring storm, we had a relaxing time, sleep a lot, read and watch videos on Chuck's wifi... Perfect 10!

Our host was a real gem. He was extremely friendly and provided loads of helpful info on local dining, sights, and activities. The RV was lovely, well maintained, and comfortable. It’s located at the back of the property so you have privacy, and there’s a lovely little sitting area just outside the RV. It was absolutely quiet except for one little thing that nobody could control. The nearby lighthouse has a fog horn that continuously blasts every couple of minutes. It’s really only noticeable at night, and not loud enough to interrupt sleep. After a while you get used to it and it becomes less noticeable, even a little soothing. Peak of the Pacific is well worth the money. Will most definitely try to stay here again if we find ourselves back in the area.

Rented a convertible Camaro and drove all of the Oregon Pacific coast hwy to Cresecent City, California where Chuck was waiting with a smile, great advice, and a wonderful cozy spot just a few steps from the Pacific. If you want an extraordinary trip down the Pacific coast and hiking in the Redwoods then I suggest flying in to Oregon and driving to California and staying with Chuck at his oasis.
Friendly, clean, easy, comfortable and for an RV the shower was roomy and I am not a little man!
It was a bucketlist trip made more spectacular thanks to this host and his well appointed property!

Our recent stay in a trailer in Crescent City turned out great. The host, Charles, was very helpful and cordial. The trailer was a new experience for us and it made our stay even better. So much nicer than a hotel stay. It was perfect. Walking we were minutes away from the beach, fishing pier, lighthouse, wonderful brewery and more. No time at all to get to Hwy 101 and a short drive to Brookings and Redwood National Park. It is an amazing location and this was our first time staying in a trailer - loved it all. Would definitely stay there again.

The trailer is very clean and accommodating. Close proximity to everything. It is set up in the back, has a private entrance and good parking off the street. Nice place to land versus a busy hotel.

It was a pleasant experience. Charles was a great and gave some nice tips for places to see and eat which is always nice from a local perspective. Would stay again next time I’m in town.

Close to everything!
The trailer was clean and spacious with lots of storage! The owner even gave us some special coffee of his. He also gave us a detailed list of things to see and do and places to eat. I would definitely stay here again but the actual location of the trailer was not exactly what I thought it would be. The trailer is literally on the side of the owners house. We had total privacy in that the owner never came back to the area. It's just that there is no view. However, it is just a block from the beach. There are also so many places close by to see and experience that it is worth giving up a view if that is not what you're looking for. If Chuck would have us, we would stay again.

We had a great stay, clean, quiet, and great communication from our host. Suggestions for eateries, and local sights were spot on. Would definitely stay again!

Great location for beach access, redwood trips, coastal drives.
Wonderful, knowledgeable, friendly host - thanks, Chuck! Clean, compact accommodations. The beach is almost out the door and so walkable; the tides create a new landscape 4x/day. Short drive to amazing dunes. And the Redwoods! Must be experienced. Owner/chef restaurants with good food/ice cream and craft beer. 6 out of 5!

Clean and convenient location
First time doing a VRBO in Crescent City. Definitely the way to go vs. hotel/motel. We were comfortable and Chuck responded quickly when we threw a breaker by accident. Close to beach and Sea Quake. We would stay here again.

Wonderful location AND host
Beach 1 block. Redwoods 10 min by car. Host is wonderful! We ended up with 4 days of gale-force storm with little 1-2 hour breaks each day. Wifi allowed us to check weather predictions incessantly. Stable Wifi! Host needed to fix something and wore a mask to enter the RV, at our request, no hassle (one of us is immune-comp.). Lots of local touring info that we couldn't use because of weather. LOVE to return. Very comfortable bed. Cute little kitchen, nice fridge and freezer, we were able to bring food we wanted. Local restaurant Fisherman's is on Door Dash, easy to find location for them. Everything first-rate getaway!

Gateway to the Redwoods and beach hikes
The location is perfect: so many days of redwood forest bathing and hiking, plus beach hikes. The host is very helpful with local info and responsive to problems. The RV is very clean and comfortable. Even if the weather turns cold or rainy, there's so much in easy driving distance and the RV is comfortable for curling up with a book or video and just taking a rest day. Will definitely recommend - and plan to return.
