A lot of the hotels were booked or reserved due to the fire personell. This hotel is older and basic but comfortable.

Sonya was wonderful and so delightful to chat with! She gave us so many helpful tips on seeing anything we were interested in! She is as bright as her smile! I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Bathroom was so small and the water was not draining in bathtub.

Cheap price for a reason. Very dated and the neighborhood is dicey. Room faced a Taco Bell drive up and was crowded and noisy.

Bathroom door was so hard to open/close. Carpet seemed dirty, so, wear your shoes.
Close to the main road and mornings get noisy.
Location is great though! Service was nice.

Very old hotel. Room 25 was very noisy and smelled bad. Hotel was right on Hwy 101 and traffic noise was bad. No Ice. When we arrived, staff was removing a dehumidifier from the room and had left the window open. Red flag right there. Sadly we booked through Expedia and our reservation was not refundable or we would have looked for a different hotel. Required to leave a $100 damage deposit which will be returned after the room is inspected. Woman at front desk very nice and friendly. I would not recommend this hotel.

Bathrooms were dirty. Property worn and old. Pictures do not accurately show property. We did not spend night and they refused to refund the cost of the room. Very unhappy

An older property, so it has its quirks but most importantly, a friendly staff and wonderfully comfy beds.

I didnt like anything about the property.. the rooms stink, the refrigerator didnt work, the tv stopped working, people figgting and yelling in the middle of the night. Then they put a $100 hold on your card for incidentals. What a joke.. disgusting

A bit run down, but very friendly & attentive

Liked that the location is in walking distance to grocery store and restaurants. About a 5 min. drive to beach. Extremely kind and courteous staff member at check in. Rooms are bare bones and aged. Last update looks like maybe around 1985? Mattresses are thin and quite uncomfortable. Cleanliness was fair.

WAY OVERPRICED! Good central location, but noisy with Taco Bell's drive thru right next door. Area seemed dicey, but no more than most Northern California border towns. The facility was old and outdated, but relatively clean, except for the moldy bathroom. Beds weren't very comfortable. Basic, no frills, and not worth the $200 price tag. It happened to be the only availability for the night.

It was OK for the money, nothing special

This motel was not worth the price we paid for it. $200 for a room that should have been around $70 anywhere else. The room itself was clean, but it smelled terrible. It was marked as non-smoking, but that seems questionable to me. We went across the street and bought some Febreeze at the Safeway to spray down the room. The linens smelled clean, it was just the overall room smell that was not pleasant. The room was clean. It even had a live plant decorating a corner. The check in was quick, but hardly any information was given. I read that there was a breakfast provided when I booked the room, but I could not find where that was being served. There wasn’t anyone at the desk when we checked out to ask. I had to just leave my room keys in a box on the counter. It is safe to say I was disappointed in my stay. I wasn’t expecting a five star room by any means, but I was expecting to receive what was advertised. There was a woman who seemed mentally ill screaming profanities at everyone and no one when we were checking in. This was unsettling to my daughter and she felt very unsafe the rest of the time we were there. The parking lot is shared by a Taco Bell, so there was a lot of traffic. And the motel was sandwiched between two one-way streets, so there was traffic on both sides.

Room was very hot. Bathroom light was a heat lamp, had to shower in the dark to avoid heating bathroom even more.

You can walk to the waterfront and downtown. There is an albertsons close to walk as well.

The property is older, spring mattresses. Was very adequate for an overnight stay.

Bo A/C or room ventilation. Clean and nice staff, but front is 50 feet from busy and boisy US-101, and back side is 50 feet from a 24 hour Taco Bell drivethru. Revving engines and horns until 2AM

Property definitely needs updated. Bed was hard and pillows were thin. It was ok for our one night stop.

The hotel hostess was very nice and helpful, but the room condition was horrible and old. bed lights are not working, toilet leaking water and floor is dirty!!! I am really not happy with this hotel in general. I can only say the only good thing is the hotel hostess, other than that... nothing good to say.. sorry.

Small room and tight parking space but good for just sleeping. Only fit 2 people in a room.

This place doesn't have A/C and I was worried about that but the front staff gave us a fan and we left windows cracked. The weather keeps the room cool enough. There's not much to look at outside of windows but the place is convenient to everything. It's the right price and staff is super friendly. I would stay here again.

Dirty and loud. It was on the main drag and very loud with small smelly and dirty rooms. No air to help drown out noise.

Had several problems with keypad not working. Doors had to be reprogrammed twice in a two day stay. Owners very friendly and quick to respond. Hotel exterior needs a rehab.
