About this house rental

You will enjoy this fresh 2021 new construction house tucked away right in the middle of Nantucket town. Footsteps from boutiques, restaurants, and coffee shops. It’s perfectly located within walking distance to the Hyline ferry and bus hub. The house was completely rebuilt in 2021 and has icynene insulation on all six sides, all the latest modern amenities, fantastic sound system that you can link to your phone, even the refrigerator screen is linked to music and internet. The lighting system is well designed with mood lighting. There are two comfortable patios with ceramic stone and an outdoor shower to wash away the sand when you return from the beach. There are two smart TVs and even an electric fireplace for fun! You’ll be happy being home and love being only steps away from all the charm of downtown Nantucket and the harbor.
Lastly, we urge our guests purchase outside travel insurance that covers trip cancellations due to dangerous travel conditions from bad weather since we are on an island subject to wind and high seas. John Hancock, Axa Assistance and IMG offer such policies.

This property was the perfect place for our weekend getaway in Nantucket. The location couldn’t have been more ideal—just a short walk to most of the island's main attractions, restaurants, and shops, making it incredibly convenient to explore without needing a car. The house itself was spotless and well-maintained, offering a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere that felt like a home away from home. The check-in process was smooth and straightforward, and the host was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with, ensuring that all our questions were promptly answered. Whether you're visiting with family or friends, I can’t recommend this property enough for anyone wanting a hassle-free, enjoyable stay in Nantucket. It truly added to the charm of our trip, and we’ll definitely be coming back!

Had a girls' reunion and this home was ideal. Great open concept so we could catch up and laugh. Ideal walking to everything but out of the fray. Communication was amazing with the owners. Hate to give 5 stars for would love to keep as my little secret. Thank you for amazing weekend.

My mom and I went away with my daughter for a Fall girls weekend and this home was perfect for us. Just outside of downtown (right around the corner from a popular cafe), so we could walk everywhere. There was also a parking spot available to us just outside the front door in the shared driveway, which was great since we had brought our car. Super cozy with beautiful interior decor. Perfect for friends or a small family getaway! Host was also extremely responsive. Highly recommend :)

My family of four just got back from a four night stay at this amazing house. We have been renting on Nantucket for 20 years and this is definitely one of the best properties we have stayed at. The house is exactly as pictured and the location can’t be beat. It’s located in walking distance to downtown so you are right in the middle of all the shops and restaurants. No car is needed. Sam and Kerstin were very responsive to all our messages and was so kind to check in a few times to make sure we were having an enjoyable stay. We had plenty of room for our family of four. Our kids are 13 & 15 so they loved having their own rooms and bathrooms. It’s literally only a three minute walk to Main Street so we let them come and go as they pleased. The house was very clean and quiet. I would highly recommend this house and can’t wait to return next year!

Our family had a wonderful visit to Nantucket and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Kerstin house on Coffin St. The recent renovations were tastefully done and made the house so very comfortable. We were able to fit 6 adults in the home without feeling on top of each other. The location to downtown was perfect with a coffee shop around the corner as well as access to island bus routes just a couple minutes from the house. Sam the owner was so kind and helpful and quick to respond in getting one of the air conditioning units working just a short time after I messaged him. We would definitely stay there on future trips!

This was our first time in Nantucket and we had an excellent stay. The house was very clean with top amenities. The location was close to main street and ferry so it was very accessible. Additionally, the hosts were very accommodating. We would definitely return!

We enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at the Swedish Blue and Yellow Home. It is a relaxing and comfortable home, with all of the amenities desired plus being very light, crisp and clean. The location cannot be better - close enough to town but far enough from the noise of traffic. Thank you for a fantastic stay - we look forward to seeing you again next year!!

We loved this house - the perfect location for walking to downtown and the ferry, or catching the bus to other parts of the island. The kitchen was perfect for our group to hang out around the island, and we loved having 3 full bathrooms. The temperature control was a little tricky to operate, but the host was responsive and helped us troubleshoot. Would definitely stay again!

The house was hard to find with the written dirctions we received; I suggest that more detailed directions be provided and the outside lights be turned on prior to guest check in. The property manager and the owners were reponsive and helpful when issues arose.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving stay at the Kerstin House! It was the perfect amount of space for our family of four and my mother. It was great that everyone had their own bathroom. I was happy that the kids’ room was through the primary bedroom just in case they woke-up during the night. The large island allowed us to gather and play games together. You cannot beat the location! We walked to town multiple times each day. The owners were easy to work with and extremely responsive.

We had a great stay at Kerstin House. The property is within perfect walking distance of the hyline ferry, center of town and easy access to the public transportation. We walked to dinner every night with no problems. The 3 bed, 3 bath home was beautiful, very clean and accommodating to our family of 5. We did not get to take advantage of the outside areas due to the time of year/weather. We can’t wait to get back to enjoy another stay here!

Very clean well appointed property in an excellent location. Town is always a wild card when renting because you’re never sure who your neighbors will be. Neighbors were great. One in back doesn’t rent and is a great guy with a family. Other side was super quiet. Owner was very responsive to any questions. Highly recommend.

This house is in the best location downtown. You can walk to everything and not get tired out since it's so close to all the hot spots. My sister and I had a small baby with us and this house is set up to have areas all on one level that are private enough so I didn't hear a thing from the baby at night yet the main area is big enough to enjoy cooking and movies. The house was very clean (a must for me!) and so comfortable with bright cheery decor. There is an area out back that makes you feel secluded even though there is another house next door. My visit was exactly as I'd hoped it would be.
