I can’t say enough about how accommodating this house was for our visit for the USC game. The house was more than I expected in terms of room/space on all 3 floors, comfort, amenities, basics that you’d like to have at a VRBO, and the host’s attention to the details. They had lots of snacks for us, plenty of fridge space, lots of bath towels/extra bedding/pillows, and even little things like paper towels all over were greatly appreciated. They had coffee, hot chocolate, and tea available for us and the kitchen was well-stocked.
We were able to spread out throughout the house to get a good night sleep…especially since one of our guests snored pretty loud😉 The TV set-up was great and we really enjoyed hanging out in the open family/dining room for catching up on scores and sharing meals. Besides the beds, there is plenty of comfortable couch space throughout the house, so there’s more than enough room for groups of 8 or so.
I was also very impressed with the correspondence and communication with our host. He was very responsive, helpful with details about the home and area restaurants, and details about parking. I feel he went out of the way to insure our stay was everything we expected…much in the same way a friend would take care of you if you were visiting their house.
For super picky people, I’m sure the Ritz-Carlton would be happy to take your money, but if you’re looking for a super comfortable, full-featured, and real-home experience, this house is for you!

We had a great stay! Mike and his family were so nice and helpful in any questions we had about the area. We stayed for the Notre Dame v Clemson game and it was a nice 20 minute drive to Notre Dame, very easy. We would definitely try to stay here again for the next time we go.

Great location for Notre Dame game
House size and layout was great. I wish weather was warmer so we could have enjoyed the deck and yard; looked fun and inviting. We appreciated the basket of snacks & candy- was thoughtful and a nice touch.
Renters should be aware the owners actually live in the house and leave for renters. There was no room in any of the 3 refrigerators for us to use; had to move items out of the way to secure a small space on one shelf. We had no where to put our food and we had trays we needed to bring to tailgate.
Also, it absolutely does NOT sleep 10 comfortably; couldnt accommodate our 8. Looked for the air mattresses as stated in description, but could not find any and instructions on closets to not open bc owners items were in them. The bed in second bedroom was smaller than a Queen - my sister and I did manage to sleep in it together, but not really comfortable; and the 3rd bedroom has a double that only my brother could fit; maybe 2 small children would fit, but definitely not 2 adults. The basement was not usable, as the overwhelming dog/pet odor made it unfit to occupy. The sofabed in basement was not clean and stunk; the carpet in the bathroom was dirty and covered with what looked like pet food.
My (2) nephews had to sleep on the couch and my daughter on the reclining chair in the living room.
We had to strip beds when I paid a cleaning fee; it was obvious not using professional cleaning service. The linens on the beds were worn and see through. The 2nd bedroom did not have a top sheet but instead a very overworn comforter which I suspect the daughter uses daily. When stripped the bed, found the pillows were old and dirty.
The sink in master bathroom has plumbing issue, not drain well and backed up when brushing teeth.
For a smaller group, the house would be perfect and great for location to Notre Dame

ND football weekend
Stayed with friends and our families for an ND football game weekend and thus didn’t spend a lot of time on the property. Convenient to campus. Hosts were welcoming and accessible. We all had a nice time.
