Very spacious house that fit our group perfectly! Big rooms upstairs. Wish they had a propane grill rather than charcoal and specified to bring our own toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap etc. great location. Thanks for having us!

This house was perfect for our travel needs. We had 5 adults and 2 children and we fit very comfortably!! The large yard was great! Proximity to the beach and amenities was also fantastic. I would 100% rent this house again!
2.0 / 5.0
This was a disappointing rental for us as there were several issues with the property. I will say it was clean, and the location is excellent. I debated whether to give a one or two star rating and feel two stars is generous considering how much I disliked our stay.
First, when we arrived the owner's car was in the driveway. So no, there was not parking for four cars. I called Vacasa and spent several minutes trying to find out what was going on. The person I talked to was doing the best he could and I can't fault him, but "it's the owner's car and they're out of the country" was not really what I was looking for.
The biggest issue was probably the furniture. It was truly uncomfortable and though there were a couple of newer pieces in the living room, they were cheap. There's no other way to put it. I couldn't relax on either couch. My husband is taller and was able to sprawl out on the weird one (it was one of those that's meant to be a sort of bed, I think) but I couldn't and neither could my mom. The rest of the furniture in the house was a mishmash, with most of it being quite old. It was the type of stuff you'd find in a thrift store...the king size mattress upstairs had a spring that I was constantly trying to avoid so sleeping wasn't pleasant either.
The outdoor furniture consisted of plastic Adirondack chairs that bent back when you sat in them. Very cheap. We ended up using our beach chairs. The grill was charcoal and it was locked to the deck. We didn't bother trying it as we weren't sure it was safely located; there was a bush right in front of it, and it was a wood deck.
There is no washer and dryer in this house. I must have missed that in the listing somehow, but honestly it never occurred to me that there wouldn't be. I rent a lot of places at the Cape and I've never encountered this before. It's one of the main perks of getting a house instead of a hotel -- you can pack a little lighter.
The AC units were unbearably loud. And I mean LOUD. They sound like jet engines.
There was a total of two trash bags for an 8 night stay. One roll of cheap paper towels. Three dishwasher tablets.
The water pressure in the downstairs bathroom was weak. Neither shower had a handheld sprayer.
We had issues with the keyless entry and almost didn't get back in one night. The day we left we couldn't get the door to lock at all.
We only stayed three nights out of eight and everyone was ready to leave. I wouldn't rent this house again....

Good house but definitely needs some TLC. There was a broken sofa and a broken stair on the deck and the property management was very slow to respond. The TV was also not working initially. They did issue a small refund, which I appreciated. The rest of the house was a great option for a family reunion. Nothing fancy but big enough to spread out so it worked out well for our purposes.

We had a generally great week at this property with our family of 6. The house was plenty spacious for three adults and three kids. The kitchen is well appointed and we had plenty of dishes, cooking utensils, etc. It was quite hot during our visit and we were thankful for all of the AC units in the bedrooms. The location is great and super close to Seagull Beach. We very much appreciated the chairs and other beach supplies that were at the house as well.
We did have a lot of issues dealing with the property management during our stay. When we arrived the house was very clean but the trash can outside was overflowing. The description gives a certain day for pick up but no trash pick up came on that day. This means we were unable to take the trash out of the house during our entire visit. I contacted property management multiple times during our visit and was assured that someone would come address this issue each time I emailed/texted/called and no one never did. When we left the house at the end of the week we had to leave all of our full trash bags in the house as there was no place to put them.
The back yard is also lovely but we were unable to use it in the afternoons and evenings as the sprinklers came on at seemingly random times in the late afternoon/evening, usually when we were trying to enjoy cocktail hour or eat dinner outside. The sprinklers are also aimed towards the house so if you open a window, water will come inside when the sprinklers come on. These sprinklers made it impossible for us to spend any real time outside in the evening which was a real bummer since this is why I booked a house with a backyard. Again, I contacted property management to figure out if I could shut off the sprinklers (it rained during our stay too and it seemed totally unnecessary to have them going) but property management never responded to my request.
All in all, this could be a great rental but I was very disappointed with the management.

Great house for larger families and those with pets!

Very comfortable, clean, well-appointed house in a quiet residential neighborhood. Besides all the usual appliances (toaster, mixer, coffee maker, etc.), the kitchen was supplied with cleaning supplies, salt, pepper, sugar, cooking oil, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, plastic bags, and lots more that often doesn't come with most rentals. There was even a tool drawer and battery drawer. Baths also were well equipped with shampoo, conditioner, soaps, etc. Beds were all very comfortable and all linens were clean and fresh. Huge second-floor bedrooms. Only minor complaints - A/Cs are noisy, the second-floor carpet is very outdated, and the second-floor bath shower curtain and rod needs replacing.

Great location for a family get away. Quiet neighborhood and a short walk to the beach.
