The house was large and fit 10 people comfortably. But it needs a lot of TLC. Vacasa was stressful and this was the third house we had to select in Stowe because of issues with houses/Vacasa.

Great house! We were all able to stay comfortably and cooked an awesome dinner using the kitchen.
4.0 / 10.0
The house is older than depicted, with a strong sulfer smell (as other reviews noted), especially in the basement where the bunk beds are. We experienced clogged drains, cleanliness issues (hair from previous tenants on pillows, dirty dishes), and the front door lock was a pain to deal with - we were locked out after dinner in the snow, when the access code changed and didn't work. May be OK at half the price, but not the experience we were looking for at this price point.

The septic tank was leaking through the top in the yard. It was next to hot tub and flowing into the fire pit . The smell was awful

We had a group of 10 athletes/coaches for races at Stowe. This house worked great, providing space for everyone, including during downtime. Close to Stowe and the mountain, road up to the house was very well maintained by the town (was worried with freezing rain, but town was all over it). Great stay.

This is a beautiful property! Close to a coffee shop and market. The fireplaces were perfect for cozy, lovely fall days. There were some games available that were fun to play and the kitchen was stocked with plenty of cooking tools.

Spotlessly clean and all set up for a large group like ours. Plenty of cooking equipment. Great hot tub. All around very nice.

This was a really great place to stay. We spent the weekend skiing at Stowe, and it was super convenient to get to and from. We had a gang of 9 people and fit into the place very well. Happy to report that the beds were surprisingly comfortable, and there were a couple gas fireplaces, which gave it some unique charm. I highly recommend! To make your stay even easier, I have a couple recommendations below.
Rec 1: bring your own water. The water was extremely sulfurous well water. I'm sure it's safe to drink, but you probably don't want to. There's a grocery store nearby so very easy to stop by and pick some up.
Rec 2: The over is quite small, if you were planning to roast something for dinner, note that it just has one shelf.

The water has a terrible sulphur smell to it likely from a well. The house was nice but all of the guests were bothered by this during showering, cooking, cleaning, etc.

Great time. Some small minor things but overall. Nice home.

Good for big group
We had a group of eight consisting of three different parts of my family. The layout was good to give everyone their own space.
Only downside to the property was that you needed to be able to drive up a steep hill to get to it. We saw a number of two wheeled vehicles unable to make it up the hill due to snow. One of our party had to park their car in town and I had to pick them up in my 4x4.

Comfortable fun house
4 Bedrooms were roomy and great for the kids, the downstairs is almost a separate apartment with bathroom & bunkroom. Deck was huge with new Weber, and bluestone firepit was a nice amenity
