We loved loved loved our stay at the little penthouse condo. We honestly didn’t want to leave - our teen daughter kept calling it “our house.” The condo could use some upgrades, but those things never bothered us, and we’re 4- and 5-star hotel people. Mostly because it was just so spacious and cute and the location was AMAZING - the best beach in town right across the street, the pool was beautiful and everything was super clean and safe. We would definitely book this condo again in the future.

I really wanted to give this property 4 or 5 stars . Upon arrival, the it was clean and we liked the ocean decor. The directions were straight forward but there was no key in the apartment so I called and they stated that someone would drop a key off the next day but that did not happen. We decided the use the key from the lock box since that was the only way you could lock the door from the inside since the door locks were not functioning properly. There was a dead bolt on the door but wan only held in with a few screws so we felt most comfortable locking mulitiple locks. This was only a minor inconvenience and we felt quite safe during our stay at this property regardless.
There were multiple cabinets where the doors did not shut completely because of door hinge issues. One of the hinges was even broke off. There were water stains on the counter, a leaking shower (which we eventually maneuvered to get to stop but then we never used that shower), broken tile in the shower, clogged shower head which impacted the flow of water, missing handles on the foosball table, an inoperable microwave/outlet, a light bulb that was out in one of the bedrooms (which we replaced) and the previous mention of the doorknob not being able to be locked from the inside. Basically this space has been lived in and was showing some of it's age. Upon further inspection, we found two grills on the top level but there was no propane or charchol provided. They also only provided one trash bag and had no dish towels (which we bought some of both and left behind). There was a pizza cutter but no pizza pan, no pot holders, no laundry soap, no hard or soft cooler, no salt or peper, squeeky sliding doors that needed a coating of wd40 on the track, no extra aluminum foil, no baking pans, and the silverware and cooking pans were minimal. There was also not a welcome portfolio with any of the general information you might find explaining the rules/setup of the rental or various things to do in the area which we would have found helpful.
You do hear cars driving by and chickens and the beach has loud music on the weekends that you hear. The beach was nice as was the pool. There is only one tv in the living room. The sunsets are amazing. This would be an easy 4+ property with a little bit of upkeep and a few additional amenities included. We liked the room setup, decor, views, access to the beach and town, and pool. Very safe feeling.
