Peaceful, pet-friendly, cottage located in a quaint neighborhood on the barrier island just a few blocks from the beach. Tropical, private, backyard with screened patio. Great open floor plan, tile in main living areas. TV with high speed internet provided; Fully-equipped kitchen. Full-size washer/dryer. One-car garage. Absolutely loved this house. I stayed for one week. I loved the back screened room. My cat hung out there all day and didn’t want to come in! The property is woodsy with bushes and shrubs and trees creating a more private atmosphere which is what I prefer. The location is perfect. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. It’s a short walk to the beach. There are two bicycles in the garage and we took a ride on the jungle trail, which is also very close. There are other parks in the area as well. I do not like to go out to eat that often so I did a lot of cooking and baking. The oven and the microwave work fine. Martin is a great host. He was good at responding back to me with all of my questions. I would stay here again.

Everything was great, nothing I could complain about. Cute place in a great location at a reasonable price. Comfortable and well-furnished. Martin was great about communicating with us and making sure everything was going OK. Would definitely book again if we're ever in the area.

Great location Quite neighborhood short drive to beach. Really enjoyed bicycles in garage and the nearby trails. House could use some sprucing up, but that didn’t cause any problems with our stay.

Enjoyed my stay at the cottage. We’re able to walk to the beach and jungle path. Pictures are accurate and Martin as usual is easy to access if there are any questions or issues.

Wonderful place to stay. Fantastic location, neighborhood is quiet. Martin was very communicative and easy to get a hold of. We took advantage of the bicycles in the garage, and took a ride down the Jungle Trail. We had no issues and would absolutely stay here again. Too bad it's already booked for the time we'll be in town again next year!

We booked this property to attend a wedding at Vero Beach. The property had all the ‘little’ things that you need when away from home for the weekend. We felt completely at home. Martin was great.

Tucked away on a quiet street. Well supplied with beach chairs, umbrella, beach cruisers, and well appointed kitchen. Beds were comfortable as well. Really a home away from home! A couple of minutes to a quiet and beautiful beach. Good fishing right off the causeway - a real treat - Florida as Florida should be experienced.

I stayed at this property the last week of January. It was good for what I needed for two adults for that length of time. It is a cottage - small but an open floor plan. The house is nicely appointed. I did not make dinners there but the kitchen appeared well stocked to do so. The location is good for walking. It is about a 10 minute walk to the beach - doable carrying a light chair and a few items. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet and also offers a nice setting for walking. The popular Jungle Trail is also in close proximity where you can both walk and bike. I did not need much while there, but the host was quick to reply to any questions I had. A real bonus are the neighbors directly across the street - a friendly couple who assisted me with a few odd needs. I did not travel with a dog this stay. But I would not choose to stay here with mine. The backyard area is small, not grassy, and not completely enclosed. But the surrounding area is ideal for exercising your pet. Also missing from this property is a covered outside sitting area. If it rains, inside is your only choice. All in all, this property met my needs for a week’s stay. And I was satisfied with my time there.

This property is in a quiet, cute neighborhood, close walk to the beach. Love the little beach and convenient Beach Bites store. The house is great, bedrooms are small and the kitchen needs some TLC, but overall an awesome little house, especially with our dog! Would recommend. Martin was very helpful and responsive!

The house is just as pictured. It had everything we needed plus some! Had fun on the ampersand beach with the chairs and umbrellas, biked on the jungle trail, and nice to shower off in the garage shower. Loved the back porch at night for cards and cocktails, we did need a light outside but we used candles. Must have a smoothie at Beach Bites, great way to start the day! Wonderful home to have a little R&R after a long week of work. Thanks so much for sharing your home!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Wabasso Beach. It is a great friendly neighborhood and a 10 minute walk to the beach. The house was very comfortable and the amenities were just what we needed. The tile floors were perfect for a pet friendly house. Martin, the host was very accommodating. We had some internet and tv problems when we arrived but he worked very hard to get everything up and running. We had his cell phone and he was accessible if we needed him. We had a great stay and did not want to leave!

House was just as promised! Cute bunny lives in backyard - a plus! Only complaint was owner did not give lock code until just before (5 minutes) before we left to drive there. Other than that - oh, a page of instructions was not in the house to tell us how to leave the house upon exiting. Would be helpful

We thoroughly enjoyed our month at this cottage. Everything we could have needed was supplied and the location was perfect, close to beaches and the Jungle Trail for walking. Neighbors were all very friendly and lots of dogs for ours to socialize. Would definitely stay again!

Great location: close to beaches, golf, Vero Beach. We spent time walking the Jungle Trail, cycling A1A, visiting with family. Kitchen appropriately appointed, rooms spacious enough for 2-4guests. Neighborhood is friendly and quiet.

The place had everything we needed to have a wonderful vacation. The owners were very responsive and accommodating. Loved the great bikes and the screened in porch. The only challenge is accessing the beach with a dog. The easy accesses are private. Wabasso beach says no dogs. So we had to get on the beach quickly at the park and then it was a great and friendly dog beach.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Island Bungalow Getaway! Right off the bat our plans changed and two tired travelers arrived a day early. Pat and Gerry totally accommodated us immediately for which we were VERY grateful. We found them always quickly responsive to all our questions. The home was comfortable and welcoming with all the necessities for a beach vacation. Comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen, everything you need for the beach and an added bonus, great bikes which we used daily. Our pups enjoyed the screened in back patio with the little geckos scampering about. The foliage around this home is very lush. Our dogs loved exploring the back yard and walking the path in the mini tropical jungle. This whole super friendly, dog friendly neighborhood is like a tropical paradise. Huge 100 year old trees form a canopy over the sandy road on the 10 minute walk to beautiful Wabasso Beach. (Or a two minute bike ride. There are bike paths everywhere.) There is also plenty of beach parking and rest rooms. There is so much to explore within walking distance of this quiet neighborhood. Scenic Jungle Trail is just around the corner. A great pizza place right off the beach. Very convenient to Publix and CVS. Walmart and every other store you could need within 20 minutes. The town of Vero Beach is fun to walk around and explore the shops and restaurants. We can't wait to go back! P.S. If you open the bedroom window at night you can hear the surf!!
