Dave and his Mum are lovely and helpful people.
They are so friendly! The housekeeper too. I enjoyed talking to all 3 of them.
They give you information about everything: transport, activities etc.
Thank you and long live Eurovision. xxx Almir

We had the warmest of welcomes and Dave & his mum couldn’t do enough for us.
The room was very clean and comfortable and breakfast was delicious.
Just a short stroll from the ferry port, it’s the perfect location for exploring Liverpool.
There was nothing not to like.

When we finally arrived at the Liver View it was fine the staff were friendly and the rooms nice everything you would want for a weekend great breakfast.
Getting to the hotel was a nightmare we needed to get a train then a bus to the ferry port or else you can get the ferry which runs every hour would be great but on a Saturday in winter time it finishes at 3pm making our journey back train and bus again as much as we liked the hotel if we were to visit again we would stay in the centre getting buses and trains just takes up time when your only there for the weekend we were very disappointed!

the location was not great for getting into Liverpool. this might be better once the new ferry starts.

The breakfast was great. Cute dog, as advertised. Welcoming hosts. Nice view. But some serious drawbacks too.
I think the description needs to be clear about the fact that, if you're there when the ferry isn't running, you really can feel stranded without a car. (And even when the ferry is running, its schedule is limited.) I arrived by train and bus at 8 PM. It was over a half hour journey from central Liverpool. When I asked if there was a place I could go for a drink nearby, I was told that I could take a taxi to New Brighton for about £5. Once you figure in taxis here and there, and the time you spend getting from place to place, the hotel is less of a good deal. The hotel also, while clean, really needs redecorating at this point -- it's dated, and not in a charming way. I left a day early because of the drawbacks.

The hotel was simply excellent. Super clean, well comfortable beds, so quite room. The breakfast was super delicious and fresh. And the hotel owner Dave is probably one of the most friendly owner that i’ve ever met. He helped all the things that we need… I have to say so much thanks again to him and definitely will stay again here. Hugely recommended this place…
Nothing.

Not a lot around about it like pubs/restaurants which is not the fault of the hotel

Location to the ferry terminal was just great. Staff were friendly and helpful and the neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful.
Toilet seat was partially broken. I was expecting to have an evening meal at the hotel. Sadly, none was available. An order and delivery arrangement with a local restaurant or hotel would be just perfect.
