Lovely clean spacious room, perfect location!

Great location, super clean and spacious! Easy to find and access with great NCP car park behind. View of cathedral from the window was a bonus!

Absolutely brilliant! Will stay again

Lovely property, loved the decor, had everything we needed and was in a brilliant location. We stayed on the ground floor and had access to the outside courtyard

Heart of Lincoln

Stayed in the traditional room , it was marvellous. Staff so nice and cleaning lady very friendly. Pleasure to stay here in the heart of Lincoln. Perfect for couples. Great prices

Excellent location

It was exactly what I needed and where I needed it.

Dificulty in setting up the heating. The room was cold when I arrived. I didnt find any instructions for the heating.

Great accommodation choice in a beautiful medieval city.

The room was beautifully decorated, roomy with access to a private area. In walking distance of all local sights such as the cathedral, castle and shopping areas. The staff were exceptionally helpful.

Just one negative - the heated towel rail did not switch on, so the bathroom was quite chilly.

Very Pleased, We Highly Recommend

For the amount I paid it was well worth our time & expense. We were very pleased with our stay & would highly recommend Tavmar Rooms to any other couples or solo travellers! Big thank you to the Tavmar Team.

What a joke

Absolute nothing, the pictures didn't resemble the room. Should have gone to a Premier Inn. To pay this amount of money was a joke. Then to top it off took £500 as a deposit for damages. Are you having a laugh. Good job I had the money to cover the cost. And weeks later I'm still waiting for my money back. Do not go here. I've learnt my lesson. So hopefully you can read this and stay well away

They rob ya money but Booking.com helped me get it back

Location only but will never do Tavmar rooms again

Stained carpets, heavy bathroom doors, charged me more said I would get a refund and they ignored my calls and texts.

Lovely room with a nice table outside to eat breakfast. Great location.

I liked the location and the design of the room

The light in the bathroom constantly turned off while in the shower. Also a miniature fridge would have been fantastic to store water and such since it’s so hot in the summer.

Pleasant

Nice spacious room which was clean and tidy

We had a room at the front where there was a very noisy road with cars and people. I had difficulty using the payment link and when I contacted customer services for help the operator was very rude, aggressive and unhelpful.

Pleasant stay. Room very clean. Great location.

Great location. Very clean. Lovely hot shower. Easy access.

Divan base very creaky and could feel springs poking in hips so bed could do with replacing. On ground floor so couldn’t open window at night due to shared access to garden. Needs mirror in bedroom. Every time people above went to the bathroom in the night we could hear everything and sounds like water was rushing into the room when loo flushed. Hard floor means the sound travels downstairs.

Superb

Great room, opened onto the garden. Shower was great,large and plenty of hot water. Bed was comfortable, but noising when moving in bed.The location was excellent. Really good restaurants either side and across the road. Walking distance to the castle and cathedral.

Noise is a problem if you have a noisy neighbour upstairs as we did, stamping around all night. Hanging space and access to an iron would have been nice.

Lovely garden room. Ideally situated for my work venue and proximity to the town centre.

Overall- excellent

Excellent facilities overall. Easy access, and secure. Lovely private courtyard with table and chairs, direct access.

Lack of ventilation. Bathroom door was spring autoshut, and very annoying as only opening window was in bathroom.

Didn't spoil our trip as we sat in garden late at night and for breakfast in morning but garden needs TLC...weeding, cutting back and replanting A small fridge would be handy to put milk and alcohol in too.

Another lovely stay at Tavmar rooms. I stayed in The Garden Room with access to the garden with table and chairs

An amazing staycation (better than 4star hotel)

Overall I rated the room 100% better than a 3/4 star hotel and would love to come back again. The room was very spacious, clean, had a huge bathroom, all basic necessities and it was naturally warm (even without a heater). Undoubtedly the location to all the tourist attractions was just awesome with everything in a few mins walking distance including a Tesco express which was just 100meters away. Night club is just 10 steps away and the roads are very safe throughout the night as well.

Frankly the below are just tiny bits of suggestions and I can't complain about anything considering it was a wonderful stay. Your spring beds aren't that comfy so please add a mattress topper as the spring were hurting me a lot (i weigh 85kg). The wash basin (sink) had a shelf over it which made the brushing experience really bad as one cannot bend down to reach the tap (please remove it). It would be nice to have 2 chairs in the room considering it's a couple room. Please check as your toilet flush just doesn't work and definitely needs maintenance, we struggled flushing throughout the stay. Your ad says room cleaning would be daily but no one visited our room (2 nights stay).

Lovely room in a great location for a memorable visit to Lincoln

spacious, clean and very well equipped. Quiet at night but nicely located near the High Street. Check in details easy to follow. We had an issue with the room on arrival but this was resolved quickly and professionally by the property management team.

It could have been user error on our behalf but was unable to get the heating to work.

You need to be careful about who you rent to running riot from 1.30am - 6am knocking on my door and shouting
