The cabin was spacious and cozy, with amazing views all around. Quiet and calming scenery. Great activities such as mini golf, and there are 2 pools to choose from. Animals are welcome.

Beautiful property with lots of facilities and options for families
There was a traditional festival in the village. Whilst the property made sure to spare their animals the torture of almost 24h sound reinforcement (none of the animals in the pictures were to be seen), they still rented out the cabins at premium rates without any heads-up about the noise to their clients (and neither any ear-plugs).
The loud-speakers were literally pointed at the cabin and from Friday evening to Sunday night, only stopped between 5am and 10am. Neither us, nor any of the other guests were able to get any sleep and what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend with the family turned out to be the opposite. Had I known what was waiting for us, I would have definitively stayed at home. The property is lovely, but it was not worth the torture we endured to stay there.
My reclamation to the property via booking simply remained unanswered.

the facilities, clean, cute house , nice fresh buns and croissants for breakfast, lots of room on the property so doesn’t feel crowded

Wonderful area, beautiful views (sundown!), lots of things to do for the kids (minigolf, tennis, soccer, 2 pools, barbecue, ...). Good base location for tours to the national park (needs car) but also fine to just spend the entire day there. House was well-equipped, super clean, good beds. We really enjoyed it there. Nice breakfast service at no additional cost.
If you like nature and have a bit of luck with the weather this is one of the best places to be I'd say.
Owner was not around once we arrived so I had to call and he didn't speak English, so getting into our house was more complicated than it has to be. It would be better if someone is around or to be more proactive once you know that customers will arrive that day.

- Pet friendly
- Great location and view
- Everything was clean
- Unclean swimming pool and sunbeds
- There were no soap in bathroom, but we had shampoo and body lotion instead
- We had coffee machine without capsules (the owner brought it next day with breakfast), also we had tea bags, but no kettle in the apartment
- The owner wasn’t available by phone or chat, I tried to contact him twice regarding the soap and decaf capsules, but no reply. The territory of Quinta quite huge and there is no reception itself, so it was really difficult to reach out to anybody
- We spent 2 night there and the first breakfast included bread, croissants, water, orange juice and bottle of wine as a compliment (many thanks!), however the next day we had only bread and croissants without juice and it was quite disappointing

The house was good however there were to many flies . While this is not the fault of the host at least they could try to prevent this situation . We had to go shopping for it as the kids got bitten .

This is an event farm for weddings, parties...and it’s also used for tourism using small/medium wooden houses. the infrastructures are very good, 2 pools, 1 ténis court, 1 football field, mini golf, barbecues and the houses are also ok...for us the best of the farm is the view and the colors of the sunset, really great. The farm also have some animals which is good for the kids.
The cleaning of the house and pool kitchen was not good, the houses are not very good in terms of sound proof, we had a very windy night and the sound of the wind inside the house was so loud that was difficult to have a good night sleep. The TV’s have 7 Portuguese channels, no kids channel...or normal movie channels...which is not great...the worst part of the stay was the breakfast that was included in the price when we did the reservation but when we arrived, the breakfast was one milk bottle in the fridge for 3 nights, some butter and bag of the cheapest bread there is...I questioned the owner by e-mail on the first day and until today I had no answer. For sure an experience that we’ll not repeat.
