This is one of my favorite places I have ever stayed. Rosa, her sister, and everyone who worked here were all so kind and have taken such good care to create a homey and relaxing space that felt truly magical. The breakfast was incredible (so many homemade jams and cakes!), the nooks all around to hang out in the house were cozy, the pool area was lovely, the house itself has a old authentic vibe but is updated with everything you’d need (like AC and updated bathrooms). I paid for dinners and they were delicious. Super comfy room. They also have a cat who just had kittens and as a cat person I loved that - they were so fun to play with in the gardens. Honestly it felt like a little fairytale! Thank you!
It is not as close to some things in Geres - so it’s a bit more driving but not much. And honestly I didn’t like the look of other places closer in the park as much, and cada do Eido was so incredible I think it’s totally worth the extra 15-20 minutes.

We loved the property. We spent the day enjoying the wonderful pool and the beautiful sight seeing and food in Gerês. The host was super kind. Our room suite was awesome and had an incredible view.
Nothing to report .

Ana and her team are amazing! This place is how I imagine paradise: So much love and detailed design… the garden surrounding is amazing, quiet and hided spots to chill everywhere…she created a very special place where you can get easily lost in day dreams in the most positive way! We enjoyed every second! Beds are super comfy and breakfast is amazing.
Thank you Ana for sharing this special place !

One of the most wonderful places I’ve ever stayed at. From the delicious breakfasts (with vegan options), perfect location for restaurants, waterfalls, trails and historic visits, and incredibly kind staff and hosts! It truly exceeded my expectations! Definitely coming back next year :)
Before arrival, the lovely hostess, Ana, provided us with countless places to visit (for rainy and sunny weather) and restaurants (which were all great food local to the region).
The room we stayed in was extremely spacious, light and private.
The Quinta was beautiful with various spaces to enjoy peace in nature.
It was my birthday when we stayed and they kindly made me a birthday cake, which I thought was lovely!
Thank you very much for the wonderful stay and experience Casa do Eido!

We spent 4 days at casa do Eido. The house is very clean and well organized. Ana and her staff have always been kind and helpful. The location is great if you want to visit the Gerês national park.

Very kind host, wonderful breakfast and lovely pool area. Place is very clean.
Bed is a bit hard and parking is not ideal when property is fully booked.

The ride to this wonderful place is maybe a little steep but it is 100% worth it. You arrive in a friendly / cosy garden with perfect pool /terrace and the people help you with every question/remark. There are even nice walks starting at the Casa.
That I could not take home the little dog that followed us the full 2.5 hours on our walk. It was so cute ...;-)

The hosts catered for our every need. We loved the whatsapp messaging system and that we were cooked delicious vegan meals. If you are vegan this is the best place to stay. as we struggled in other parts of Portugal to eat.

the place is very clean, architecture fantastic (things like A/C is well build in the structure of the room). Breakfast was made from local ingredients and was very tasteful. the staff was very very helpful and also very nice!

Our stay was exceptional! The quinta is even better in reality than on the photos. It has very few rooms which ensures a private atmosphere with many spaces to relax and enjoy the beautiful garden with the fresh water springs. In every corner there is something beautiful to discover. The rooms are spacious and decorated with a lot of love (quality towels, beautiful sheets, fresh flowers). The staff ( Anna, Melanie and all others) were wonderful and extremely caring and always available for us. Thank you very much!
The breakfast was delicious, fresh and mostly home made. ♥️

I was travelling with my dad. We had an amazing time at Casa do Eido. The atmosphere , the food, the view, the lovingly chosen interior were incredible. It was rather a beautiful home stay than an anonymous hotel experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the mountains :)
Food was especially healthy and vegan friendly.

Very beautiful and peaceful house, with lots of little nooks and corners where you just want to sit and read a book. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast with lots of healthy and homemade options. The room as quite big and comfortable
there was nothing I didn't like, I just think the dinner options could be a litle better (not that they were bad!)

No AC in the room when it was 30 degrees
Hard access and it is really hard to park your car
Difficult location in the middle of nowhere

Breakfast was really good! A fresh homemade cake was baked for breakfast everyday and left on the table to be eaten throughout the day.
Views from the property were good and peaceful, there are a lot of different areas to relax (favourite spot was the hórreo!) and main villages are not too far away using a car.
Staff were very kind and helpful! Always ensuring we were feeling welcome in their property
Entrance to car park and size of it is not the best but works fine if everyone parks correctly. Owners were happy to offer their "private" spot if needed for bigger vehicles

Very clean and safe. Very good breakfast and customer care.
It was very hot and the apartment did not hold an air conditioner. Very difficult to sleep in those conditions. Also water was not available in the room.
