Gute Lage nahe am Yosemite-NP

Die Lage in Oakhurst gibt bereits die Hauptzielgruppe vor: nämlich Yosemite-Besucher. Die Zimmer sind okay, Parkplätze gibt es genug.

Im Frühstücksraum gibt es nur wenige Plätze; es gibt aber auch eine kleine Terasse direkt davor mit zusätzlichen Tischen. Da die NP-Besucher aber alle gemeinsam recht früh Richtung Park starten wollen, wird es dort doch auch recht voll und es kann leicht sein, dass man keinen Platz bekommt.

Ok but avoid breakfast

Spacious rooms, clean and good location.

All a bit dated, including the noisy AC. The breakfast was very disappointing, not in terms of quantitiy, but quality. The scanbled eggs were from a sort of microwaved plastic package :( the obly fresh thung offered were apples, bo other fruits or veggies. And it‘s appalling that a hotel is allowed to use single use plastics for a meal they offer daily/on a regular basis! We skipped it for the second day. At least they provide a water fillup station with very good water! Staff was friendly but could not help much with questions around the yosemite np. Overall, it was a decent stay if you don‘t plan to spend much time at the hotel.

Als Ausgangspunkt zum Nationalpark gut. Etwa 1 Stunde Fahrtzeit dahin. Frühstück amerikanisch aber ok. Unterkunft erfüllt seinen Zweck. Parkmöglichkeiten genügend vorhanden.

El desayuno completo y muy bueno. Pero solo hay 3 mesas para sentarse dentro, en el exterior una terraza muy agradable con mesas pero esta lleno de avispas. La ubicación es muy buena se encuentra en el centro del pueblo al lado de varios restaurantes y a 30 minutos de Yosemite National Park.

El poder desayunar tranquilamente sin miedo a que te piquen las avispas.

La posizione e' ottima per raggiungere l'entrata di Yosemite, le camere abbastanza confortevoli.

La colazione apre troppo tardi se si vuole entrare presto nel parco, quindi non abbiamo potuto usufruirne.

Receptionist gentili ma le divise erano sporche e non fanno un ottima impressione. Pochi tavoli disponibili per la colazione.

Op doorreis redelijk hotel.

Eenvoudig maar efficiënt. Goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Problemen met toilet werden direct opgelost. Kamer ruim, goede bedden. Personeel soms vriendelijk en bereidwillig.

Wifi slecht op de kamers, viel steeds weg en zwak signaal. Ontbijt eenvoudig en in te kleine ruimte met te veel mensen. Naar Yosemeti Visitor Centre nog ver rijden (ruim een uur). Personeel soms ongeïnteresseerd en passief.

Comfortable, but needed a better cleaning.

Older hotel than expected, but it was a nice place to stay the 2 nights we were there. At the entry road to Yosemite.

Television was good once I figured out how to find a station list. Bathroom could use a good cleaning and tightening of toilet.

value for money is good, don’t expect much breakfast

good spacious room with 2 queen size beds, very comfortable, bathroom was ok👌🏻 after a long day at Yosemite this was very good

breakfast room was tiny! we had to fight our way through the crowd, then only grabbed a coffee and left. wasn’t worth it

Décevant, passez votre chemin !

Si on devait vraiment trouver quelque chose de positif, et encore, ça serait l’emplacement. 30 min en voiture de Mariposa, 1h30 jusqu’à Yosemite Valley…

La propreté est à revoir de toute urgence : poils autour du lavabo, taches sur les serviettes de toilettes, moquette sale (papiers qui traînaient…). Nous y avons passé 2 nuits, impossible de dormir correctement à cause du bruit, c’est très mal isolé. De plus, sans volets le jour illumine la chambre aux aurores… Le personnel était oppressant, nous étions dans les temps pour quitter la chambre (11h) mais à plusieurs reprises ils ont essayé de rentrer, la réception a appelé directement dans notre chambre alors que nous avions prévenu les personnes en charge du ménage que nous chargions les bagages dans la voiture ! Le petit déjeuner laissait également à désirer. Il y d’autres hôtels à la fois dans cette même ville et également dans le parc, nous ne vous conseillons pas celui-ci.

Nice staff does not balance with the room’s cheap feel.

The hotel is conveniently located not too far from Yosemite at an ok rate. As well, the breakfast, while nothing mind blowing, is a decent and easy way to get going in the morning.

The room itself was very dark, with only 1 main light in the room, plus the lamp in between beds and the shower pressure was the weakest I’ve ever had. Overall, we expected a nice room for what they charge but ended up with the equivalent of a lower quality holiday inn.

Misery at the motel

The only positive thing about this is the relative proximity to Yosemite.

It was a disaster from the moment we walked in. The staff member checking us in looked extremely disappointed to see us which made me feel very uncomfortable. Once we checked in and got the key we drove around the back of the building, the outside of the door had what appeared to be kick mark dents. The room itself looked nothing like the pictures, be prepared for an extremely outdated run down motel - the pictures have to either be edited or SEVERAL years old. The whole place felt eerie, the carpet was stained there were dents on the inside of the door as well as dead flies and dust throughout which may be because it was off-season so the room probably hadn’t had anyone in for a while. In accordance with the policy I read prior to booking; I decided it was best to cancel the remaining night and make alternate arrangements. When I went to reception the next morning we were met by a crowd of staring, unsmiling, unfriendly, and honestly unsettling staff, I said hello and asked to check out - I was told they work on commission and refused to check me out as that would mean my second night was refunded so instead she would pretend I had not checked out so that I would be still charged. She was confrontational, defensive and unhelpful, I left without objection because I felt very out of my depths on their turf with an extremely unwelcoming reception which is a scary feeling in a country I don’t know. I then called bookings.com who fulfilled the cancellation policy, I would avoid this place at all cost.

Nice, big room. We had the best breakfast from all of the other motels that we had stayed at during our roadtrip. Wide selection of breakfast options (eggs, sausages, waffles, toasts, oats, bagels, tea, coffee....)

ubicacion practica y economica

El desayuno Buffet es en verdad muy generoso, lo incluye en el precio de la habitación, tiene servicio de jacuzzi y son atentos al responder las inquietudes de los huespedes. La ubicacion es perfecta para las actividades que realizamos.

En mi ultima reserva cancelaron una de mis reservas sin motivo aparente ya que tenia dos reservas con la misma tarjeta registrada y una de ellas fue cancelada, tuve que volver a reservar y el precio fue mucho mas elevado, al llegar no me supieron decir que habia pasado respaldanse que booking habia hecho la cancelacion pero no fue asi ya que habia tenido una llamada anteriormente con booking.

Perfekt für einen Aufenthalt nach dem Besuch des Yosemite Parks

Große geräumige Zimmer. Perfekt für eine Übernachtung nach einem Aufenthalt im Yosemite Park. Die Zimmer waren gut ausgestattet und sauber.

Die Frühstückssituation war sehr schwierig. Es gab ewig lange Schlangen beim Waffeln backen. Außerdem gab es viel zu wenig Sitzmöglichkeiten für zu viele Gäste. Das Personal war nicht besonders freundlich

No response to contact query

I actually booked this property by mistake. I realised immediately and contacted the property to try reverse it. No joy. Booking.com to their credit tried to help and requested an exception because it was an obvious mistake (i was wanting to extend a booking with a similar name), not that I'd found anywhere better. They didn't receive a reply. I emailed the manager directly but again received no reply. Under the T&C's they're entitled to keep my money, but the purpose of that term is surely not for a genuine mistake that in the interest of customer service could have accepted the exception. The fact they didn't even reply to the contact attempts says it all.

Excellent stop off for Yosemite and Sequoia parks.

All the previous reviewers were right about the breakfast. Make-your-own waffles, bacon & egg, muffins, toast, yogurt, great coffee all included in price. The room was comfortable, spotless, quiet, exactly what we wanted. Highly recommended.

Power sockets on both sides of the bed. A bigger bed. Just being picky now. Good room for the price.

Ottimo con margini di miglioramento

Struttura molto bella ed accogliente ci ho trovato pure il tavolo da stiro oltre al microonde e frigo . Letti comodi e spaziosi una piazza e mezza ma americana .ottimo per famiglie. Colazione buona e abbondante. Posto a 13 km dall’ingresso parco Yosemite

Servizio wi-fi praticamente inesistente a stavi nella hall o fuori stanza che a novembre non è il Max . Zona breakfast per la mole di persone ospitate troppo piccola .
