Unit was very clean and cozy. Pool was right across the street, this neighborhood is fantastic. Access to the private beach was the highlight. Good communication with owner. Mahalo.

The "extra" for me was the access to the private beach parking area. While no beaches in Hawaii are private, getting to some of them requires a long walk from public parking. This is a very close parking area to a lovely beach.

Property very clean, well equipped, very cozy, great location, quiet and peaceful. Aloha

We stayed here with 4 adults and 2 ten year olds. Worked out great, there was enough space for the 6 of us.
Location: Was nice to have grass outside the patio and the 10-15 min walk to the beach club wasn’t bad. If we had a days worth of beach stuff, we drove and parked in the lot (nice to have that access). There wasn’t anyone staying next door or above us, but if there had been….you would definitely hear the neighbors when on the patio. So just be aware of that if you are looking for major privacy- you won’t have it.
Condo: clean and fully stocked. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beach towels were great and the garage had all the beach toys, chairs, coolers we needed. One note- bring your own body soap, only a tiny bar provided and it’s not that great.
Area: the common pool was really nice, we all enjoyed the hot tub as well. You can walk to the beach club through a lava field path (10-15 min) or can walk to the shopping center in the other direction. Very convenient!
Only a 10 minute drive to the best beach on the island (Hapuna Beach) - we went there often (you have to pay so just a heads up). Never did go to the black sand beach near by as they wanted us to pay $25 per car! I ended up walking there and it’s not that great- don’t wast your money.
Communication was great with the owner, I’d recommend staying at this condo to friends.

Our three generation family stayed and had a memory making trip. The house is in excellent condition and was well equipped with kid friendly amenities (high chair, pack n play, toys, books, beach toys). The location is convenient to beaches, shopping, restaurants, grocery store, and great walking opportunities. We loved the volcano tube walk, fish ponds and the secret pond. Noah was very responsive and accommodating. No complaints and highly recommended!

Our family of four had a fantastic time on our vacation and loved our Palm Villas stay over Christmas. The condo is equipped with everything you need and has a great layout for families. The location is ideal - a lovely walk to the Beach Club and the Auberge Mauna Lani where we snorkeled and saw tons of fish and turtles. Just two minutes drive to the supermarket and shops as well. Noah is a terrific host and we appreciated his helpful tips and great communication. Would definitely recommend and hope to return again.

This is a perfect location. Quiet, corner unit, and within walking distance to the Mauna Lani Private Beach Club.
The waterfall pool is great, very family friendly.
Noah was an amazing host. Very responsive and had provided everything we needed in the unit. It felt like our home away from home.
We will definitely come back and stay again!

Great location and amenities
Stayed here with family & friends for Honu 70.3. Great space and equipped kitchen for cooking. Pool rules are real and a resident did not appreciate our 6yr olds playing.

Very peaceful and quiet. Nice place
Not having rented through vrbo prior to this trip the process confused me a bit, but now having done it, the next time will be easy. It was a positive experience and will be doing again Im sure.

Great location, comfortable condo, would stay again
We really liked this little condo. It’s in a great location to walk through the lava fields and fish ponds to get to the coastal path and the beach. Clean, comfortable, cozy. We only stayed two nights, but would rent again on our next trip to Hawaii. Only mistake was they forgot to give us the code to the complex’s gate. Luckily the manager was leaving when we were trying to enter and was able to give us the code in person.

The condominium was exactly as described. The kitchen is the best-stocked one we have experienced in our travels. The ice maker worked great and made
plenty of ice. The AC and WiFi worked well. There are ceiling fans in every room and plenty of storage for clothing. The beds were very comfortable. The lanai is small but has a BBQ, which we used a couple of times. We enjoyed eating on the lanai. The garage was a nice bonus and the beach chairs, umbrella, and boogie boards were nice to have. There are also two scooters, two coolers, and some toys, which we did not use.
The private beach club area is small but very nice with a restaurant and great snorkeling. The rental hut for activities gear is not open every day in case you wanted to rent paddle boards, etc. the beach at the Mauna Lani Auberge Resort is a 15 minute walk (walk out the historic trail and go right along the shore). It has okay snorkeling, a calm bay, and food and gear rental daily. We went there twice.
We did not use the pool but used the hot tub one night and it was nice - we had it all to ourselves.
We would definitely stay here again for a quiet relaxing vacation!

Beautiful setting for this rental. The price is a little high compared to similar quality homes on the area and the unit could use some updating.

Comfortable, plenty of space for 4 adults and 3 kids. A normal-sized garbage can is the 9nly thing I'd like added. Everything else was great!

My wife, 2 kids (ages 3 and 1), mother-in-law, and I had a fantastic stay at Christine's condo in Mauna Lani in April 2013. The condo was well-located and incredibly well setup for a family with kids. My 3 year old son spent almost every waking moment at the nearby beach or in the complex's pool and the condo has all of the beach toys, chairs, towels, etc., that you could need or want.
Christine's condo exceeded our expectations!

Everything was perfect! We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. We loved the walks through the lava beds and fishponds to the beach.

We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in the door. This is not your typical rental property. The description is completely accurate. The complex is small, quiet, very well maintained and perfectly situated within the Mauna Lani development. Christine, you are great to deal with and the information package was very helpful. Our favourite place to eat was Cafe Pesto in Kawaihae; everything we tried was good and the prices were reasonable (the pizza is a must try). This was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Can't wait to come back.

This place is absolutely fantastic. We were there in early February 2012. The condo was generously stocked with all available amenities that you would need on your vacation. The place is very clean and perfect for children (we had a 4yo & 7yo). The beach club is awesome and we spent quite bait of time there. Last year we stayed in a comparable type of condo in Waikoloa but this place was much better, not to mention we like Mauna Lani better than Waikoloa. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I recommend staying at this condo for so many reasons. I was a beautiful home in a perfect location. The home had everything!!! You truely could arrive with a few items of clothing and personal items and feel like you were in your own home. We enjoyed our stay very much. The renting process was very simple and straight forward. The home is nicer than the photos, it is in a nice spot in the complex and very quiet and relaxing. The owners are honest and helpful, it was a pleasure to rent from them. I am looking forward to my next stay!!!!! I hope you enjoy it as much as my friends, sister and I did!!!!!

When searching through the multiple rental listings for us to stay at, I kept going back to this one. What caught my eye on this location was the many wonderful reviews on it...all of which were favorable, extremely informative and as I found out once we stayed at the property...right on the mark! It felt like walking into our second home instead of a rental property. All of the extra's that were included (kids toys, razors, beach toys, high chair, coolers, etc) allowed us to enjoy our vacation without having to pack everything including the kitchen sink or run down to the store to purchase it! I also loved all of the personal touches that were included...the guide to everything book that Christine put together was extremely helpful as we referred to it on many occasions (and that fresh fish market was awesome!). Everything was just perfect and we couldn't have asked for anything more! Thank you Christine for offering up your lovely home for us to enjoy during our vacation...we will definitely be returning!

The Mauna Lani development continues to be my favorite place to stay and this was an excellent rental. The house was clean, well-decorated and had excellent amentities to make the stay more comfortable. Some examples were boogie boards, scooters, beach bags, coolers and kitchen condiments/spices. While we didn't have young children with us, we were amazed at how much was available for even a baby and small children! We did have a great experience and the owner was very easy to work with. I highly recommend this rental!

Second stay at your place...that said, my wife said upon entering, "it's like being home". Christine, thanks again, we had an excellent time at your home. The boys remembered it and enjoyed the stay. It is as pristine as it was 2 years ago. Once again, we will be back!

Hi Christine, We just received the security deposit in the mail, that was very fast thank you. We want to thank you for letting us rent your lovely condo. It was our best family trip ever! We loved the Big Island and staying in such a comfortable, child friendly place was a huge part of the reason our trip was so wonderful. The beds were comfortable, the couches were comfortable, the linen was nice, lots of towels and other linens.... Our Daughter Lilly loved the toys. We still have the animal train song stuck in my head. After a day of adventure in the sun, ocean and exploring the Island it was a pleasure to come "home" to the condo. We enjoyed cooking nice meals in a fully equipped kitchen, with good chef knifes and a full array of pots, pans and other kitchen gadgets. The extra cable and PVR were also a great bonus. We tapped some shows and watched them once our 4 ½ year old was in bed. We loved the Fairmount beach and restaurants and the little grocery in Mauna Lani - good selection of food and wine. We plan on coming back to the Big Island next winter, unless we purchase a rental property, we will be booking again with you. We will also recommend your property to any of our friends and family who want to travel to Hawaii. I have attached a couple of pictures to put a picture to our names. If ever your family comes to Ottawa, please call we will shown you around. Again we had a wonderful trip. Yours truly, Andrea, Shawn and Lilly

We just wanted to let you know that everything went well at your Hawaii condo during our stay. The place was absolutely fabulous – it really worked out well for our family. We loved all the beach toys, boogie boards, towels, the BBQ, pool, beach club…everything was great. And all of the recommendations you gave us in your write-up were great too – we loved watching the sunset and enjoying appetizers at the Fairmont and all of the beaches were fabulous. We would recommend your condo to anyone we know. Thank you again for helping to make a great vacation!
