Beautiful location, lovely host (Mary) nice well equipped houses in a secluded location,
Electric blankets on all the beds, felt like we were in our granny,s house years ago.
A real get away from it all place, a good place to bring a bicycle if you like cycling.
good wifi signal.
Mary was a great host could not do enough for us.
nothing.

The location is excellent, very peaceful house in sales as warm enough
The overall Cottage, it’s nice it’s warm I resume the host is friendly I didn’t get a meet her
I’m not sure what age the cottages are I know there built to predict old Ireland
But I’m absolutely convinced that the double bed has not been changed since the houses were built to say it was the most uncomfortable bed I ever slept on my partner I had to sleep on the couch
Overall, somebody has to look at these houses for value for money which they are not €600 to people two nights
Oh, I forgot electric hob no instructions on how to use it and I couldn’t get his working so self catering didn’t happen more bad value. Somebody needs to look at this.

Value for money. Location was beautiful. The host was very friendly.
The beds could do with being updated as they are quite old.

The views, comfy rooms easily heated, spacious areas for groups and good kitchen. Really lovely and gracious host. Left us to our own devices. Great location that combined rural appeal with a local town with everything you need. Everyone loved this place.
One room is very drafty and the fold up bed is brutal. No firewood on arrival and lack of blankets and towels especially as we were one of the only guests staying at the time. Besides those tiny problems it was perfect.

Great location - peace and quiet and wonderful views. After contacting the caretaker we were told the key would be in the door on arrival, which it was. The cottage we stayed in was full of character, it would be a wonderful place to stay in the summer!!
The cold! We stayed for Christmas and although the cottage is heated by electric storage heaters 24/7, the cottage remained cold all throughout our stay. There are electric blankets on the beds and an open fireplace which does provide SOME additional warmth. A welcome pack on arrival would have been nice (as it was Christmas - just some basic essentials. there was toilet paper, washing up liquid and soap). The cottage does need some TLC - especially the thatch roof which was in a poor state.

Beautiful location, quaint cottage, very darling. Fits right into the idea of what I thought an Irish cottage should be. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.
A few suggestions, the beds were like sleeping on a box spring, not a mattress, very hard. More than 3 towels for a house that sleeps 6, provide hand soap for the bathroom sinks and soap for the laundry. The view is so amazing, it seems like there should be a little table and chairs to sit out on and enjoy the lake

We had great peace and privacy. We could come and go as we wanted.
Very narrow roadway up to the house. Too many cobwebs. The light switch for 1 of the bedrooms was actually in the sittingroom.

Mary was very friendly.
The living room was only half the size from what the images had shown. The whole cottage smelled strongly moldy. The roof were damaged, parts of the roof was laying around the cottage.

Return trip after having such a great time 8 weeks ago. Facilities were perfect for our group (5 adults 2 children 1 dog). Mary is a treasure. Already looking forward to our next trip to Corofin

The view was spectacular from our Cottage, lovely and remote but close enough to Corofin. Loved the electric blanket on our bed
Missing a few cushions on armchairs & non slip mat in shower, told Host. Need bigger duvet on double bed, draughts got in 😉

The location was beautiful
The house was not clean, some bed linen was dirty. The shower base leaked. There was a bad smell in kitchen

Excellent location, high standard of cleanliness,”get you in” milk, teabags coffee, washing up stuff etc. Heating on for our arrival.
Shower a little small.Could do with hooks inside front door for outside clothing and a boot rack perhaps.

The house is lovely and very comfortable. The views are fantastic and the people are very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage.
There was nothing we didn't like.

Both the cottages were comfortable, warm and spotless. The views and surroundings are exceptional. The local town is close by and has everything you'd need. We also visited The Cliffs of Moher and Lahinch, only a short drive away.

Great location and view.
Cleanliness a bit of an issue and facilities a bit sparse. It's a rustic sort of place and won't be to everyone's taste.

Would have been good to have some stuff to light the fire already in the cottage.

Everything, this was our third year at the Cottages and we love there, Mary is the caretaker and she is such a lovely person always making sure we are looked after and happy with everything. If you want peace and quite, fresh air, and wonderful view and a lovely friendly community, Corofin Lake Cottages is the place to go.
A but more sun and less rain this time. We go two great years with sunshine every day, this year there was more rain, still beautiful though.

The location and style were exactly what we were hoping for. Staff were friendly and helpful- but the last minute requirement to contact them was difficult given our arrival and lack of cell phone coverage.
Our first cottage had a plumbing issue so we were quickly moved to another (larger) unit which was great- except it hasn’t been prepared for us….and had a lot of spiders in it. Would also be great if basic items (shampoo?) were provided. As well as instructions for use of the different appliances for those of us unfamiliar with them.

Location. Plenty of room.
Needs freshening up. A little damp in some of the bedrooms. No WiFi.

Spectacular view….it made up for anything else that might have not been what we expected. When the fireplace was in use it made the cottage so cozy! Easy access to Corofin which we loved so we had involvement with the locals and were minutes from the Burren❤️ Shower was lovely! Awesome peace and quiet!
No personal touch, no instructions on how to run everything. We washed our own linens as we didn’t get clean towels until 10 days after we got there……We had to go next door and bother the people to show us how to run the stove. 3 or 4 days after we got there A woman came and checked on us (the caretakers daughter) and she showed us how to use the washer. There were no instructions about turning the heater on in the shower room….we might be a little slow…..it took us a week to figure out the switch high above our heads in the next room controlled the heater. The toilet gave us a lesson in jiggling and patience when it came to flushing! The Bed was very uncomfortable as the springs cut into your back and hips.

The views were spectacular, the cottage was great, it felt traditional but had all the modern cons
A few more nessities in the kitchen would have been good,
