In summary, the apartment is okay to good and is overpriced for what it is. Would we come back again? No. The quality of the flat did not reflect the price, irrespective of location. I would have preferred to have walked 5 minutes to the beach instead. The good points: - The location is fantastic. - It has a parking spot. - The beds are of good quality. - The linen and towels are of a good quality. - A selection of beach equipment was provided in the cupboard. - The host responded to queries and issues quickly and provided a refund in terms of the cleanliness of the flat when there was a specific issue overlooked by the cleaners. The bad points: - The Kitchen: the control settings on the oven have been worn off and one of the buttons is missing. Some of the cupboards smell of damp. The pots and pans have seen better days. - The lounge: the tv remote works very occasionally (the power button, the volume button and the ‘OK’ button do not work at all). - Main Bedroom: the top of the window needs a really good clean. - The second bedroom: the storage cupboards smell. - The bathroom: the toilet cistern is cracked. - General issues: the vacuum is useless. The light fitting in the hall has fallen off leaving exposed wires. General points - For some mobile networks there is no signal at all at the flat, so take screen shots of the directions before you arrive. - The hill to the flat is narrow and steep, so be aware if you are not a confident driver or have a large car.

Just steps to the beach and rail station. Perfect spot to explore St Ives and the Cornish countryside. Clean and well organized.

When we arrived at primrose valley it was extremely busy , there was a food and drink festival taking place . Entering and exiting in a vehicle was very challenging the whole weekend. Apart from that everything was good , being so near the beach was really great and we all had a great time staying at the apartment.

The flat is gorgeous, well-furnished, and comfortable. It came well-stocked with cooking utensils and tableware, even milk, butter, and some Cornish delicacies. The beds were comfortable, the shower easy to use, and the TV and washer easy to work. It was a budget accommodation option which felt luxurious. The only thing I would've liked to know before booking is that the accommodation is located on a very steep road, which can be challenging if you are pulling luggage up from the train station. Also, mobile internet reception is poor in the flat, (Although the flat has excellent WIFI available, though it has a child safe settings on it which block out websites of bars, wineries, and websites of restaurants which are located in bars or distilleries. This is easily remedied, however, if you step outside as the mobile internet is much better just outside the flat).
