We enjoyed our time at the cottage! It's an excellent location with easy access to a lot of attractions. Our family of 5 was comfortable and with the weather while we were there, the lack of air conditioning was not an issue. During the week, the lake was very quiet. Other reviews noted the rooster next door, who let his presence be known, but he didn't wake us up early. Kitchen utensils were a bit limited but we found what we needed to get by. Communication with the host was excellent. Overall, it was a terrific stay!

A great lake house cottage on Burt Lake.

We loved everything about the cottage. If there is a drawback it would be the size of the shower in the one bathroom.

This property is very nice and had everything we needed, including great beach towels. Master king bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed as well. Condiments to use already in fridge. There is no air conditioning so the day could really heat up the place but there were ceiling fans and that was helpful. Overall, we were very happy!
There was only one negative and it was not a huge deal. There are chickens and a rooster nextdoor. The rooster WILL wake you at 6:00 a.m. We did go back to sleep but definitely was an alarm clock for us each morning. The chickens wander into the yard and do not cause any issues at all but a dog from down the street got a chicken in the yard last morning we were there. We were able to get the chicken from the dog and all was well. :)

We have been coming up to Mullet Lake for years and decided on a Burt lake property this time. Cottage was good size, family of 6 was comfortable. Dock was really nice. Tons of amenities, from coffee and firewood and a nice gift basket with wine. My only suggestion is to remove a bit of the decor/pillows, it gave it a bit of a cluttered feel, otherwise the place was great.

Great stay on Burt Lake. The house was very nice with plenty of room and in a great location. We took many day trips. Burt Lake is lovely…it’s shallow and clean, great for swimming, but can be quite chilly in our experience.

This cottage has it all. Perfect location, beautiful views, and all of the amenities and supplies you could need for your trip up north. The cottage was spotless and the owners have thought of everything. We had a memorable family trip and would love to return next summer. Book it if you have the chance!!

Was everything we expected. Great dock and firepit. Water was a bit rocky but thats the way the lake is. Comfortable beds and 20 miles to major places like Mackinac and petoskey. Thanks for your cottage rental! Family loved it.
