About this cabin rental
Last Wild River Resort offers a unique outdoor experience for nature lovers with total tranquility and seclusion! Glover River, the last wild river in Oklahoma, runs through the entire property and gives you gorgeous river and mountain views with massive moss rock boulders and ledges in the background. This is a place where kids get to experience nature and just being a kid. It can also be a place where adults can come to remember how it feels to be young and carefree again!
The first view you will experience at the entrance of the property is "The Lookout." It is one of the most beautiful mountain scenes in Southeast Oklahoma and sets the tone for the rest of your experience at this one of a kind property! With all of today's technology, it is nice to have a place you can go to disconnect and spend time with your family and friends. However, if you need to connect to the outside world, we do have wifi at the lodge, On River Time. It sleeps up to 18 and is located on the river’s edge. The lodge gives you "Glamping", luxury camping in the woods.
ON RIVER TIME exudes a warm lodge theme throughout the cabin bringing the outdoors in. The great room and kitchen are open and very spacious. The fireplace is a focal point along with the amazing river view from the windows. The kitchen is fully stocked with all your cooking needs along with a gas stove and griddle. The dining table will seat eight, the bar seats six and an extra table seats four. There is a smart TV in the living room. There is also a sound system in the living room and outside porch area. The outside covered porch has a wood burning fireplace, sitting area, an outdoor kitchen along with a hot tub with an up close and personal view of the river and mountains.
The downstairs has a large master king suite with a sitting area, jacuzzi tub, and sauna. There is another King Bedroom with a full bath that is across the hallway . It is shared with a bunk room with Queen over twin bunk beds. All of the bedrooms downstairs have smart TVs. Both of the king bedrooms downstairs have views of the river from the windows.
When you walk upstairs, you will enter a sitting area that has a cozy feel with a chaise lounge sectional and a bean bag chair. There is also a coffee bar, sink and a mini fridge in this area. If the guests upstairs are early risers, they can have their coffee upstairs, so they don't disturb the downstairs guests. When you leave the sitting area to the main hallway, there is a full built in bunk. The king master suite upstairs has a double vanity and white tile shower. There is an entrance to the outdoor deck from the sitting area, and the king master suite that has a beautiful river view. At the end of the hallway, there are two built-in queen beds and a vanity with a sink area. The second bathroom upstairs has two vanities and a tub/shower. There are smart TVs in every room with the exception of the bunk room. There is a smart tv in the sitting area as well.

If you’re looking for private location then this is it! Beautiful house and view of the river, the house was very clean, and well stocked. The property is huge, walking trails, kayaks and canoes available, extra bunk house for even more guests and a large shelter for weddings and parties. The owners were very helpful when we had a small issue with the hot tub, easy and quick fix. We enjoyed the fire pit every night and the kids loved the kayaks. Comfortable beds and pillows everything about the house was wonderful. I will say if you plan on staying here plan ahead. Plan your meals and anything you may need In advance as the drive to town takes around 40 minutes one way, and the last 4-5 miles to the house is like a graveled logging road which takes 12-15 minutes to drive.

We enjoyed the peace and quiet of this property very much. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle , this is the place to go. The home and grounds were great! Only suggestion would be a golf cart rental for the older/handicap population to be able to enjoy the property a little more. The elevation changes can be challenging.

Absolutely one of the most beautiful homes we have stayed at! Would definitely recommend!

This property is absolutely gorgeous and everything that the listing and pictures promised. In fact they probably don’t do it justice. The house is immaculate and well maintained. The space was more than adequate for multi-generational vacationers. As promised on 160 acres, we had complete privacy and quiet and enjoyed hiking and kayaking every day. The family enjoyed the outside patio every evening for drinks and games! The spacious living room came in handy when the rain set in at night.
Shari was a complete joy to work with. She is very communicative and made every effort to accommodate our requests. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a quiet yet active vacation with their family! We definitely hope to stay here again!

This was our second trip two years in a row. Our family loves everything about the property. The home has everything you need and more with plenty of space. We liked the added drink fridge and new outdoor patio furniture. The outdoors has everything you need. Hiking, kayaking, s’mores around the fire pit, and just disconnecting from screens and making shared memories. We highly recommend this vacation home and plan on returning.

Selfishly I don't want to leave a review because I want to keep this place a hidden gem, but It exceeded all expectations. We stayed for 5 days with our 2 girls then had our friends joined us for a Friendsgiving.
First the location: It is secluded and tucked away bringing ultimate peace and tranquility. Nestled on the river with water falls in background and streams of water running through the rocks was incredible. Our girls loved fishing and kayaking all day. There were nature trails they could explore on their own. It was so nice to see them get out of the residential home life and be kids exploring getting dirty and having freedom. We felt very safe the entire time. At night we sat by the fire pit having smores with the wood they provided.
Second the House: The house is beautiful and clean. The automatic gas fireplace allows to set the cozy mood instantly. The surround sound sonos was nice to have to listen to music inside and out. We loved the hot tub as well. The primary had a steam room we used a lot. Plenty of space for everyone. Having 3 king beds makes it very easy to share with multiple families. The gourmet kitchen was perfect for cooking a massive Thanksgiving meal and we used the outdoor kitchen a ton for other meals too.
Third: Amenities: Kayaks/Canoes were awesome we did those every day. The kitchen was adequately supplied with cooking utensils etc. Fishing was a ton of fun. If you want to get closer as a family and make memories this is the place.

This was the MOST beautiful serene property we have visited before. It was breathtaking and the home was absolutely gorgeous with great bedroom layout and decorations. Very very nicely done. It was perfect for every age group and we all had a fabulous time. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting peace and quiet and getting back in touch with nature and calmness. We all spent time together and made great memories that could not have been made anywhere else. Hiking kayaking sitting around the fire watching the deer eat 30 yards away. Games galore with the kids and a hot tub in the evening. Can’t wait to go back!

This place is absolutely amazing. The house had everything we needed with plenty of space for our 2 families that went. We took the kayaks an floated the river, found a nice spot to just hang out in the water. The best part about this place is how secluded it is. We will definitely be back for a longer stay !

This place was everything we had hoped for. From the deer we seen every morning, to fishing in the river and the noises of nature. This was a great reteart for the hustle of everyday life. It was great to have our whole family there and just hang out and enjoy nature. The host was very responsive to messages and stayed in contact. There was not much phone service which was nice since everyone was not on their phone all the time! All in all 10 of 10

We have spend many weekends in the hochatown/Broken bow area. Love the time away and the luxurious of the cabins. This cabin was by far the most private and luxurious we have stayed. Its miles from any neighbors on its own private land on a beautiful river. It was just the wife and i for a valentines getaway but it can accommodate many people/families. It seams like miles long gravel road to the property but when you get to the private gated entrance ontop off a beautiful overlooking the valley the property sits on. It is 15-20 minutes away from anything and 30-45 minutes away from hocatown but we never left because it has everything! Its like its own private spa resort! It has a multi car garage, amazing back porch overlooking the running river. We used the grill and hot tub multiple times. Even in the middle of nowhere they had wireless internet and satellite tv. Everything is custom built and the architecture is beautiful. Great for family reunions or large work get togethers. Can’t wait to go back!
