The yard was cool. It is comfortable, well appointed and the pool was great. The room was small, but clean. The beach is a 10-minute walk away. Some employees could have been more cheerful, but overall it was very good. I recommend!

The location is great. It is very close to the airport so you can arrive and depart easily. It's very close to the beach with a pedestrian bridge nearby that makes crossing the road easy. The staff is great...very friendly and helpful. The hostel itself is kept clean and welcoming.
Staff works hard to keep it clean so if the GUESTS did a better job of putting their paper towels and waste INTO the garbage can (not the floor), labeling food in the refrigerator and cleaning the dishes better.

I loved the vibe, the pool, the proximity to the beach and places to eat. I loved the people I met. Great value for the money.
The kitchen could have been cleaner. Kitchen sponges (in general) are germy and gross. Needs a better system.

Nice acommodation and the best community I have ever seen. There are a lot of things what you can do and everybody is helpful and glad to join. I really enjoyed this place. There is also a whatsup group which you can join by QR code and you will be informed about everything and you will not miss anything.

I liked the speakeasy. You need to find it :D
The location leaves a lot to be desired. The hostel is located right near the road, which always has heavy traffic. The parking spots are limited, and there is barely any space elsewhere to park. The beach is across a shady bridge, has a ton of seaweed, and there is just nothing pleasant. The whole hostel set up is weird. The reception people are barely there. Good luck. There is nothing to explore around. Opt out for another place that is more central.

Stayed for four nights. The public area is really comfortable and clean. The room is large and the bathroom is very clean. The airport can be reached by taking the T5 bus. The location is very good;

Great hostel with pool, kitchen and easy to use bus from airport and to Old San Juan. Be sure to use backpack, soft bag as bus is only 75 cents from the airport but no regular luggage. I found it to be safe and plenty of places to eat. Easy to walk to the huge beach just a few blocks away.
Kept getting bug bites just sitting in pool area, came home with welts on my legs Not mosquitos so need to spray. Also, the air fryer and toaster are in close proximity and plugged into adapter pug which are all a fire hazard. Refrigerator too small for the number of people who can be accommodated. Only one fork.

Nothing the employees are disrespectful and perverted.
I didn't like everything about this disgusting hostel. It was ran by slobs and rude people who have no respect.

It’s the best hostel I ever stayed.
I really liked that this hostel seems to be very new. In the bedrooms, each bed has its own curtain, reading light and charging socket. Extra: they have a house keeper to change your bed and let everything ready for you.
They also have a water filter, and a amazing pool to get in everyday.
The staff are also friendly and helpful. I had a great experience with the WhatsApp group. I made friends in this my trip that I hope to have for life.
Obs :it’s so close to see the Praia.
Bunch of mosquitos.
The room was hot.

This place was amazing! Best hostel I have ever stayed at. Staff was very friendly and always happy to help.
The kitchen was impeccable, and the pool was the best place to get to know people. There's a bakery and a few restaurants walking distance. The beach is also nearby which was great! I cannot wait to stay here again.
Nothing, everything was great!

I love this place. Everything you need, the location, and the beds were immaculate. The pool was very clean, the kitchen has everything you need to cook and more. This place overall exceeded my expectations and will definitely be coming back here for my trip to Puerto Rico again.
Everything in this place was excellent. I loved every inch of the site and will recommend it to anyone heading to Puerto Rico. The bathrooms did need a little bit more cleaning. They were clean but did need a little bit more to keep up with the number of people using it.

Fun spot, very good vibes. Sara at the front desk is wonderful.
Only thing to note is there is a bar/speakeasy that shares outdoor space with the hostel, which makes for a cool atmosphere generally. On a Wednesday night there was an event that had music playing pretty loudly after 10:30pm; I texted the hostel staff and asked if the speaker near my room could be turned down so I could rest and they responded promptly and did so, which I really appreciated.

The property itself very nice, pool in middle of courtyard, great decor, hip, modern. The bed has privacy curtain beautiful room with a table of complimentary goods left by other guests like sunscreen, shampoo, backpack. I left a purse myself that I couldn't fit in my bag going to the airport.
The location is in like a construction looking zone. It's literally on the highway with the only access to the beach is going over a long flight of stairs over the bridge over the highway. I have a bad heart so this was really inconvenient. I would have liked a hotel near the beach and restaurants. There is no elevator for that bridge over the highway so I found myself avoiding leaving the property. I paid for Uber a few times just to get to the main strip with the restaurants by Carolina beach.

The property design and decor.
The location by the highway. No way to beach except over highway bridge stairs. Looks like a construction area of highway.

Nomada Beach Hostel is like a little oasis near the beach. Behind the doors is a wonderful, funky hostel with a nice pool, kitchen and grilling facilities, and plenty of seating in common areas. Despite being near a major road, the noise is somehow diminished when you are inside. A great place to stay.

Everything was great, super friendly staff.
We stayed at the dorm, also nice except the madras.

This hostel is by far the most well-designed hostel I've stayed at-beating some 4 star hotels! Bonus: it is also well-maintained and the staff put in a lot of effort to keep every part of it clean!!
Room:
I was in the 8 all-female dorm room and never felt cramped for space. Each bed had a strip of outlet including 2 usb plugs, plus a small reading light. All beds had curtains so you could have privacy. There were hooks and hangers by the beds. A door separates the bedroom from the common areas.
Common Areas:
There are 3 shower rooms with a multi-level plastic stand in each. The door had a hook on the inside and there were larger hooks outside between the rooms. Water pressure on the shower was ok. There are 2 separate toilet rooms that have a very entertaining sign that I'll leave you to discover. And 3 sinks with a full wall mirror for other general clean up.
The kitchen was very well-kept. Black dishes and mugs came from Ikea. The utensils were not grungy or old. I loved that there was an air fryer instead of 2-slice bread toaster! Microwave, flat-top stove, and fridge rounds up the kitchen. The fridge was full while the freezer was barely used when I was there.
Plenty of varied seating around the property. Swimming pool was fun and a good mix up after the beach.
The locks are all electronic so no need to worry about lost keys...but it does mean you have to remember a code for the main door and the one to your room.
Location:
Isla Verde beach is minutes away across the pedestrian bridge and was not as crowded as the one in Ocean Park. There are a few car rental companies along the main drag. It's about 5 mins from the airport, but not at all walk-able, so you're stuck with uber or chancing it with extremely limited public transportation.
You can walk to Old San Juan from the hostel. It takes 2+ hours and the neighborhoods progress in wealth along the way. Or take the T5 or 53 bus for $0.75/ride.
A very busy, and well-used highway is right in front of the hostel. This is why you need to use the pedestrian bridge to get to the beach or shops or restaurants on the other side. So when you're in the common areas or even in the room, you hear the highway noise. I also couldn't help but think about all of the pollutants I was breathing in 24/7.
On one of the mornings there, I think the generator near the room turned on because a very loud and sustained noise woke me. It stayed that way for a few hours before stopping.
