You really feel like you are staying in Inverness at this house. A hotel could look and feel the same anywhere but this place has personality. The kitchen is adequate for the little cooking we did. The sunroom was wonderful. Sitting in the room with the rain sounded magical. The parking is tight but it is off street which is nice. The bathrooms and showers are nice. We walked downtown, 8 minute walk, multiple times. Like Ireland, they do not use a second sheet so if it is August you might want to bring one. There is no AC and the comforter was too warm on a few nights. Like Ireland, there are no clothes dryers. The washer has a spin that dries clothes about half way. There was an outdoor and indoor drying rack. With the rain and humidity I always worried my clothes wouldn't dry but we managed, just different by from what us Yanks are used to. We had a hard time finding the place. I was trying to stay on the Left while driving so I probably wasn't at my best for navigating. The house is accessed off Milburn road. The driveway is about halfway down the block and leads to two houses behind the house facing the street. I am not sure if I will make it back to Scotland. But I hope I do and I would stay here again with no hesitation. Cheers!

This was a family trip for older adults who wanted a base of operations while in Scotland. The location was ideal. Walking distance into town and shopping, and a quiet place to hang out. Three comfortable bedrooms with privacy and good communal space with room to play cards or sit quietly and read. From here we visited many Highland venues and Speyside Distilleries. We had 2 cars and also used a tiyr service for whisky tasting. Web would stay here again.
