Beautiful and energetic experience

It's such a safe and fun place for woman solo travelers. The terrace, being the central place of the hostel (with beautiful views), makes it the perfect place to socialize and make plans. I met people who became great friends. I highly recommend it!

Only thing that you need to know is that it requires a lot of stairs to get there. But there's also bus and taxis you can take! And a port for luggage!

Fabulous!

Beautiful view, helpful staff and good services. Fast WiFi and lots of information how to get to places. Fun atmosphere, met some lovely girls! Will come back :)

No vegan food options, extra charge €1.5 euro for soy milk in my coffee. €8 for a tiny juice.

Amazing stay with great views of Positano

Amazing people, we got a plenty of tips about our stay. Greatest views ever from a hostel. Attention to details design-wise and regarding technicalities. We visited the double room with a balcony available beside the dormitory rooms and had a great hotel-like private experience with the benefits of more fun hostel vibes.

Personally we didn’t mind the climb at all as it’s a very good trade off for the great views, but for some, it might be a nuisance.

Unnecessarily pricey but nice place

The bus service stops right by the hostel which is really handy The check in information was very thorough and their information guides/packs are extremely useful Staff were friendly (Anna especially), made to feel welcome Rooms are spacious, lots of lockers, hooks, storage. Beds are comfy and everything is extremely clean Always available showers and toilets and everything again was very clean

If you don’t have breakfast included it is crazy expensive and poor quality so definitely not worth it. The hostel is quite far out of the main town attractions / beach so you will need to bus regularly. Not an amazing atmosphere - the volunteers kind of just stuck to talking to certain guests and didn’t really encourage people to integrate or host any fun activities. No access to any kitchen facilities so can’t make any of your own food. It can get really cold in the bedrooms Would say it is very expensive for what it is!

Exceptional

This is the best hostel I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing, likely in the whole world. I stayed in the 6 bed female dorm with ensuite bathroom and private terrace. From the staff to the quality of travelers and everything in between, everything was perfect! It’s incredibly clean, well maintained, beds are comfortable and the views are unparalleled. From the main terrace you see breathtaking views of the entire town, a million dollar view! The breakfasts are delicious and an amazing value, especially the freshly squeezed orange juice. In the evening the bar has everything you need to get your night going. There are tons of stairs though, so definitely become familiar with the local bus. I absolutely recommend this stunning experience!!

Had an amazing stay at Hostel Brikette! The locations and views are superb! Peter goes an extra mile for the guests, makes a great limoncello spritz, and, if possible, might treat you with an upgrade.

Wonderful experience with breathtaking views

The location of this hostel is breathtaking. One of the best hostel I have ever stayed in. Since it's a family owned hostel the breakfast was so fresh. The couple who run the hostel are sweet and welcoming. The location is like 2 mins walk from the SITA bus station which is very accessible. You can take a bus to anywhere very easily. There is a very nice pizza place/bar just opposite the hostel which made it very convenient for us to have dinner. There are alot of groceries stores too just couple of mins away. I really enjoyed my stay and really recommend it.

couldn’t rest

the location was excellent.

the noise was awful. the hostel was full of young people that party a lot. having a bar inside the property didn’t help. the property rules were to be quiet time after 12 midnight but it was not reinforced. I don’t know what they will do about it because it wasn’t kindergarten but they f you don’t mind waking up at 3 or 4 am to drunken people. this is your place.

Staff, location

There weren't any windows in the room, which made air ventilation quite hard. Additionally, the air conditioner was noisy and disturbing at night. There are 8 people in quite a small space. As well as, every time anyone opens the door, it makes some sound, which disturbs if you are asleep and someone comes late at night.

the bottom bunk bed has no head space when you want to sit on your bed. the breakfast is super overpriced

Pleasurable but don’t expect to sleep.

Very clean. No insect pests. Great view. Good guidance for beaches and hikes and busses. Grocery stores next door. Excellent hot shower. Single-sex dorms.

No kitchen for guests. Room was advertised as six bed dorm, but had seven people. Tiny breakfast omelette for 9 Euros. No padlocks available for locker when I arrived. Pretty expensive at 100€ night. Young partiers coming and going from dorm room at all hours, with all lights on and lots of noise- I was not able to get enough sleep.

Beautiful views in Positano

The staff were super friendly and made great recommendations. There waws a cheap restaurant just out the front door with great food and pasta. Make sure to reserve in advance! The views from the terrace are fantastic!

It is located in the higher part of the city so you need to take the bus or hire someone to bring up you luggage. You can smoke on the terrace which was a bit annoying. You also can't bring any of your own drinks onto the terrace because they have a bar in the hostel.

I would definitely recommend staying here! everything was lovely

The staff were INCREDIBLE I can’t say enough how accommodating they all were. Instructions were very clear and made the entire trip such a breeze!!!

Gorgeous views and good price!

Loved the view from the terrace! AC in the room worked well which was appreciated. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The wifi in the room didn’t work (worked in common areas). The bed and pillow were a bit uncomfortable (not terrible but not great).

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Bathroom was dirty, AC took a long time to cool off the wrong, Bunk beds were extremely rickety. The location was much further out of Positano center then expected.
