Welcome to Slide Creek Retreat! This new cabin is outfitted with all your essential comforts and endless entertainment, this high-end cabin is perfect for an outdoor family lake getaway close to Beavers Bend State Park or a friendly retreat near the wineries and breweries in Hochatown.
Slide Creek Retreat is a secluded, modern, custom cabin, strategically located near small seasonal creeks and nestled under towering pine trees, just a few minutes from the south entrance of Beavers Bend State Park. This luxury cabin offers guests a unique combination of high-end comfort and a rustic sophistication. Broken Bow and Hochatown is an unmatched destination where the family can come to connect, unwind and relax. Tucked between the forest trees in the most picturesque area, it offers fantastic views of nature along with a convenient location to the best restaurants, activities, and park amenities. We are located less than 15 min from about everything the area has to offer. Hop in the car for a short drive to Broken Bow Lake, Mountain Fork River and everything Hochatown, yet, it still feels like you are miles away from everything. An advantage to staying with us is we are just south of all the major traffic and backups in Hochatown, so you can get to and check in to your cabin quickly if you are headed here from the south or west. A visit here will get you away from the city buzz with plenty of indoor and outdoor activities and entertainment for the whole family or group of friends. This peaceful and luxurious cabin sleeps 10, and features brand new everything from furniture to décor!
The Living Room includes stylish new furniture and a 65-inch Smart flat-screen tv that offers all your favorite streaming apps. Also, a gas fireplace (seasonal) to keep you warm and toasty during the cold-weather months. Hidden under the stairs is a comfy kids reading nook with books and games to choose from. The gourmet kitchen includes custom cabinets, stainless steel appliances, beautiful counter tops extending off to the custom made waterfall butcher block dining table.
Downstairs are 2 King suites with brand new comfortable mattresses and linens, unique decor, and 42" smart TVs. Each private room also has its own in suite bathroom with dual shower heads ,and the main master bathroom even has its own soaking tub to relax and look out the window and enjoy the nature outside.
Upstairs is the Loft game room, Full bathroom and Bunkroom, complete with shuffleboard table, two 42-inch Smart TVs, and custom built-in heavy duty bunk beds for 4. Perfect for traveling with kids or additional friends! This cabin will comfortably sleep 8 adults in beds and an additional 2 on the upstairs futon or a blow up mattress.
The substantial side deck features a 6-person HOT TUB, which is especially great in the winter, a plunge pool for the kids to splash in during summer, outdoor gas fireplace (seasonal), lounge chairs, grill, and couch. Down the steps at one end of the deck, you will find a fire pit to enjoy s'mores and roast marshmallows with your friends and family! Come off the deck via the front or back stairs, or take a slide down our 6ft whirly slide to access the fire pit area below. At the opposite end of the deck, there is a geodome for kids to enjoy and climb, as well as horseshoe pits and tetherball. While lounging at the center of the deck, enjoy the peaceful view of nature and towering trees.
The property has plenty of easily accessible parking to accommodate multiple cars, and a boat/atv/toy trailer.
For the security of our guests and the safety of our home when not occupied,
we have external security cameras located at each set of steps into the home that only cover the front of the house, driveway, and rear steps (no view of hot tub or firepit).

This property was very comfortable for my family of 5 on a 5 day getaway from Houston. The house was well stocked with great beds and amenities. You are 10 minutes from everything in Broken Bow and Hochatown. The hot tub and plunge pool were awesome for the kids. Would have liked a slightly bigger grill, but we made due.

We stayed here for the eclipse with another couple and my elderly mother and this place was perfect. The communication from the host was honestly over the top. They knew we were there for the eclipse and not familer with the area so they provided some great spots to check out as viewing areas. The price was as quoted and it was super clean. It's obviously quite new and well taken care of. There were plenty of things to do around the house during down times as they provided cornhole boards and other outdoor games. Also there were games to be played indoors if you wanted. The hot tub was great and I'm sure the plunge pool will be nice during the warmer months. Check in and check out were super easy. I highly recommend this place

The whole process of scheduling our stay to checking out on the last day was easy and smooth. The house was well thought out, decorated very well, and provided everything we needed. We could not get over how clean the whole house was upon arrival. Even my 8-year-old grandson walked by the restroom and said, "That smells clean." The owners were extremely organized and provided a book that included emergency numbers, activity and restaurant suggestions, clear instructions for operating the fireplace and hot tub, and what to do upon departure. The location was perfect as it was not too far away from activities and restaurants in Hochatown, but still provided a chance for privacy, as it was nestled away in its own corner. We look forward to returning here on our next visit to Broken Bow.

My husband and I loved this beautiful house tucked back in the woods. The views from every single room were amazing. It feels very secluded, but it's only minutes from the state park and all the fun things to do in Hochatown. We will definitely bring our kids and their families back to this gem in the woods.

This space was very cozy and relaxing. We were 6 adult women looking to relax and that is exactly what we did. The cabin was well stocked with kitchen necessities, hot tub towels, bath towels and even extra blankets! The owner was very responsive when we had questions and also provided a hard cover book with all instructions and detailed information that anyone could ever need. Overall, great experience and we will be saving this cabin for future bookings!

I booked this cabin for a girls getaway with 9 people. The cabin itself was spectacular and the location was very convenient to trails, Hochatown, and Broken Bow. The home was stocked with main needs of linens and toiletries. The outdoor items were great and was used all weekend long. Overall, we would highly recommend this cabin and would book again!!

We frequent Broken Bow to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and from the moment we pulled into the driveway, we felt tucked away in our own little paradise. Our family trip consisted of children age 5 through teen, and adults ranging from mid 30’s to 60’s. Every single person loved this home, location and the amenities. Our 5 and 9 year old stayed in the dip pool or hot tub most of the time. I love that neither is deeper than 3’ so it eased my water safety worries. The house came stocked with most everything we needed and was very clean upon arrival. We brought our 19ft boat and it was easy to park. The main attractions of Hochatown, Beavers Bend and Broken Bow Lake are a 10-15 minute drive. If you want to be in the center of it all, I’m sure there are cabins in closer proximity but we loved that this one felt tucked away and there was less traffic to deal with. We will definitely return. Chris is an amazing host and even with some payment issues in the beginning, he was patient and worked with me to resolve the problem. We will most definitely recommend this property and will return as soon as we can!

The cabin is very clean, spacious, and secluded, we definitely used everything the cabin had to offer!
Enjoyed night of hot tub and watched chick flicks, made s’mores by the fire pit, grilled hot dogs, even went hiking, and kayaking which was a short drive to State Park.
We have decided to make this an annual trip, if not more frequent!

Slide Creek Retreat was INCREDIBLE! From the moment we arrived, we knew we’d be repeat guests! It was even better than we imagined! Great location to the park and other fun yet secluded enough to feel like we weren’t surrounded by others. The cabin was super clean and maintained. Our boys…well let’s be honest…even my husband and I loved the game table upstairs. The boys loved the bunk room and the PlayStation and we all enjoyed the hot tub at night. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us. We cannot wait to return!

Our retreat was absolutely perfect. Excellent communication from the moment we booked. The cabin is beautiful. When we arrived, the cabin was prepared in such a welcoming manner. Everything was so very clean, with all the amenities and special touches to make our stay so comfortable. Also, the cabin location is a short drive to great food, entertainment and market (the best market we found is Pruett’s food. They have such an amazing selection!)

Our time spent at Slide Creek Retreat was wonderful! The cabin is absolutely beautiful. Not only is it well thought out for your every need while there; the owners have spared no expense in building and decorating. We enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor living space. The web page accurately describes the cabin and the photos are exact. We we secluded, yet close the park trails and about mid way between Broken Bow and Hochatown. The booklet that is provided on line after your book your stay, was very thorough and gave lots of helpful hints to the area. We will definitely book again!

Without a doubt one of the best cabins I've been in the Broken Bow Area. We travel to OK at least 2x a year with our family and friends and this cabin has everything and more that you could need. Our kids loved the bunk room and slide outside. The kitchen has everything you could need for cooking and entertaining. Overall it was an amazing experience and we will definitely book again.
