Charming villas, brilliant for privacy. It was lovely that we had the whole place to ourselves; swimming in the pool at night was great!
I loved the traditional style of the sleeping huts, rustic but comfy with aircon and tv. Wifi was good too. Decent enough bathroom amenities, basic but sufficient. But the shower pressure was excellent! We never ran out of hot water either.
There's a cupboard with locks for leaving valuables in the sleeping huts.
The kitchen/sitting/dining area was nice and clean. There are enough items in the kitchen to prepare a meal with if you want to cook. There's also a rooftop relaxing space above the kitchen, but it was too hot when we were there and the view wasn't great as the rice paddies had just been harvested so everything was rather dry and brown. I imagine it would be much nicer if the rice paddies were green.
The managers/caretakers Made and Komang were very nice and accommodating. Komang prepared lovely breakfasts, catering to our requirements (one child had a lot of allergies). They communicated promptly via WhatsApp.
It's far from the town centre, so at night the only noises are frogs and cicadas. We felt very safe and relaxed in this place.
They could do with upgrading the towels, which smelled musty. The bed linen was also rather old.
The bathroom, whilst clean and spacious, always had a smell which was a combination of sewer and cleaning chemicals. It wasn't intense but I found it rather unpleasant. If you have a sensitive nose it would be annoying as the smell is always there in the background.
The location is far from the town centre, and there isn't much of interest to walk to. Going out to see sights definitely requires transport. If you don't want to cook there aren't a lot of choices within walking distance. There is a nice restaurant up the lane, but it's expensive for what you get. Easy enough to have food delivered though, which can be arranged through the caretakers.

worth the value. it is pleasant in between the rice fields. Be ware of lizards and mosquitoes because ur middle of rice fields.
it needs some some additional fan or better air conditioning systems. because of the wood so much heat getting down. so in the morning it is too hot.

Peace and relaxation. This villa is an absolute must if you want to experience Bali in all its beauty. The locals were kind and welcoming and the surroundings were gorgeous. The staff at the villa (Made and Komang) were exemplary and treated us with compassion and respect providing excellent hospitality. We truly wish to thank them for everything. My husband and I had the entire villa to ourselves which made our stay all the more incredible. The city and various sites were only about 15 minutes away. This villa is a blessing since it is away from all the noise and congestion of the main city area. The most magical part of our journey was our last day when we found the local restaurants and temples which highlighted just how amazing the Balinese culture and people are. Strongly recommend anyone stay here and expereince Bali the way it was meant to be.
Everything was perfect!! No changes needed.
