The cabin was very clean, quaint, and we loved the location. However, customer service through Vacasa was horrible. We will never book another property managed by this company.

We loved the peace and serenity of the cabin. Listening to the Loons on the lake was peaceful to the heart and soul. Our Gilden retriever, who turned one year learned to swim and 'retrieve'. The only problem we had was that the renters in units 2 and 3 made the private dick which was ours, was taken over by them. They were there every morning, before we got up, spent the day, smoking, fishing, drinking, until evening. There was a day where they were away, but left their dogs home, which barked until their owners returned. That said...we would stay at this property again. There just needs to be some clarity as to who has access to the PRIVATE DOCK.

The cabin is ultra clean, organized and very guest friendly with all the amenities.
Beds were very comfortable, nice fireplace and don’t get me started about the view!!!! It’s amazing!!!!!!!
Definitely a summer go to destination, without a doubt.

I was pleasantly surprised with this property. The cabin was comfortable and the location was gorgeous with beautiful scenic views right on the lake. The propane wood stove came in handy too. The cabin is in a great location close to town and other destinations but very private.

Beautiful, clean, cozy, convenient home with a spectacular view of the water

Great location and view. Close to Greenville but just far enough away. The view of Moosehead Lake is breathtaking! The cabin is a bit outdated and old but very quaint and clean. Nothing fancy but for the cost, not bad. Would stay here again.

The property was on the lake and had an outstanding view of the water. You could easily walk out on the deck that also was facing the lake. Looking at the inside of the cabin it seemed dated and could have used more up to date decor. There was a cobweb that was very obvious and shelves that were dusty. When I crawled into bed there was sand all over the inside of the sheets on one bed so I moved to another that wasn't sandy. And the Wifi did not work the entire time I was there. I was told they couldn't do anything about it but they did advertise that they had Wifi. She offered me a few dollars off but that was and insult to the disappointment in the facility.

This is exactly what I expected. Quiet comfortable cabin with amazing views. Sit on the deck and enjoy the sounds of the loons. Easy access to the water which would have been great if the weather had cooperated. The internet wasn’t working while we were there but we had good cell service. Plenty of games and puzzles and books to keep you busy. Very relaxing

The view to the lake was outstanding.

This cabin served our needs well. It was sufficiently stocked with basic house/kitchen supplies. It made for a comfortable home base for taking in the local sights and wildlife. Thank you!

This was a lovely, homey, comfortable place. Very dog friendly. Great sunsets on the deck or the dock. We were able to tie our boat to the dock and explore the lake from a cove we hadn’t stayed in before. Well stocked for kitchen gear but if you plan to cook bring your own spices; there is next to nothing there and during busy season the local grocery store is hit or miss. Plan to live out of your suitcase, the built in drawers are screwed shut. Internet was out for our entire visit so be prepared for non-electric entertainment just in case. Not a hindrance for us but might have been frustrating for the kids if they had been with us.

We had a great stay. The camp was just as we imagined it could be, right on the water. Beautiful sunsets. Knotty pine walls and ceilings. A brand new deck to sit on. Even had a gas stove if needed when it was cold. Nice ceiling fans in every room. Could swim or fish from the doc with a sandy beach.

We stayed many times on Moosehead Lake On the water. This was a very nice quiet location as you were away from town and the noise, but only a five minute drive to all town amenities. We did see deer and a moose on a ride up to kokadjo! The sunsets here are unbelievable! We stayed in cabin 1 on the water, and there were others staying in the duplex behind us. It was a younger crowd but they did respect our privacy and quiet time. The cabin is on one floor which was very nice. We had what we needed but it was at a minimum, some updating of appliances in addition to adding drinkware may be in need. The cleaning wasn’t perfect, probably because we were the first ones this season. It would’ve been nice to have some Windex to clean the slider. The beds were comfortable and they left plenty of towels. The dressers that are in the bedrooms are locked or full of extra bedding, so plan to live out of your suitcase. There is a small area with hangers. There is Wi-Fi here so that is a plus, but you will just want to sit on the front deck and listen to the loons. We would stay here again in the future.

The cabin was very clean and just what the website said. We had a wonderful time. The view was beautiful! Roads to cabin and parking lot, depending on month you stay, were a little muddy but we made it through. Really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Worth every penny and hope to return.

This is a fantastic weekend getaway in a great location right on the water. Came up for a weekend fishing trip and had a great time. The camp was warm, cozy, and clean. Definitely would rent again.

Always start a review on a positive note. This Cabin was extremely clean. I am very particular about how clean things should be and it was. There’s new owners to this property and I’m hoping they will address some of the issues for this lakefront property. There is extensive rot on the deck around the house. Down on the dock they truly need to redo the walkway in proper steps with a railing to the little beach. The lake was wonderful very sandy and crystal clear. Inside the cabin the king size bed was extremely soft. The queen was more firmer. The big chair well it’s very old and your butt hits the floor. There were plenty of cooking utensils pots and pans glasses… But they could really use some sharp knives. We do have some concerns about returning to this wonderful lakefront property as they do allow dogs and I’m afraid that after a year this wonderful property will not be the same. Vacasa is trying to work with the new owners to work out some of the some of the issue. The loons on the lake are amazing. We had a baby loon with his parents all week long. Check out the website loon.org to hear what each cry of the loon means. The views and sunsets are over the top. To end on a positive funny note when you’re sitting on the throne with the door open the view is the best you will ever have.

This lakefront property was just what I needed to escape holiday stress. It was a charming space with a cozy fireplace and spectacular lake views replete with picture perfect sunrises and sunsets. It was a quick drive to several restorative hikes with awe-inspiring views of Moosehead Lake and Prong Pond. I would most definitely return.

Great lakefront cabin in a quiet neighborhood. One of the nicest lakes we have visited in many years. The local representative, Amber Whitman could not have been more helpful. She anticipated our every need and made for a memorable stay. We'd go back in a minute.

My husband, myself and our dog had a wonderful stay at this cottage on Moosehead Lake. The big picture windows and deck gave us a front row seat to a gorgeous view of the lake and sunsets. Access to the dock was also nice. Kitchen and bathrooms were small but perfect for us, the gas stove kept us cozy on cool nights. We loved it and hope to return.

Great house for couple or 2 couples. Both bedrooms are smallish but not terrible. Kitchen was well appointed with everything you mite need . The place was clean and quiet despite shared dock . Nice place for a getaway, not far from everything. Would stay again !!

The cabin was clean and cute! Really nice area right on the lake.
The water was so clear and great for swimming. If the weather was better, the deck and dock would have been amazing ! There is another house on the property right behind this cabin with 2 units and all share the one dock. We had bad weather the whole time, but the internet was fine and we watched tv and played board games that were provided. The King size bed was very comfortable.

This nice little cottage has a beautiful view of Moosehead lake. It's a bit too rustic for our tastes, and communication was lacking. Otherwise, we had a nice stay.
