Welcome to Beachwood Escape! This 4 bedroom 2 bathroom ranch-style home is nestled behind the sand dunes of Lake Michigan in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood. The home has been completely renovated and is ready for you and your family to enjoy and make lasting memories. Guests will love the spacious bedrooms, which hold 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, and 2 sets of bunk beds. The home comfortably sleeps 10 guests. All bedrooms have smart TV’s. This home is the best rental we have found for our yearly sisters' trip! The location is ideal and the home was equipped beyond our expectations. Lisa was such a welcoming and gracious host. Late on a Saturday afternoon, after checking in with us by text message, we asked about borrowing a pan, and she brought one over promptly, eliminating the need for us to go out and buy one. Just one of the many little extras! I hope this home is available when we are back in the area!

My family (grandparents, 2 adults, and 2 kids 5 and under) stayed here for a week in the summer. We had the best time at this stay and the house was a huge part of that. The house was comfortable, spacious, and had everything we needed. We especially loved the back yard that the kids basically lived in when they weren’t at the nearby playground or the beach. The house has a great location on a quiet street near the beach. Lisa, the host, was a great communicator and gave us tons of suggestions for things to do and places to check out. We went to Lewis farm on her recommendation and loved it!

We loved the house! It had everything we needed for a wonderful family vacation. It was a short walk from Pere Marquette Park and the famous Muskegon sand dunes. It was right near the bike path, which we used to ride to North Muskegon. We used the fire pit to relax outside. We used the large gas grill. The house was clean and well furnished. We hope to come back again next summer and would definitely stay there again.

Wow! Lisa has truly thought of everything to turn this vacation rental in to a home for visitors. The home is perfectly maintained and feels warm and welcoming. The guest binder has all information laid out in an easy to understand way and gives you a great starting point for exploring the area. She answered any questions we had promptly and even made sure to go above and beyond when I was concerned about the lack of recycling. The furniture is all comfortable. The decor is lovely. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need to make home cooked meals during your stay. We also loved that there was a wide selection of bikes to choose from along with indoor and outdoor games to play. I confidently give this property and its hosts a 5 star rating.

Our family had the pleasure of staying at the Beachwood-Escape over 4th of July weekend. Lisa is a super star host. Her house is immaculate and has all the comforts of your own home. We loved the bikes and the 5 minute walk to the beach. Plus the park was within 3 minutes of her house. A perfect home for any family!

The house is well appointed and in a great location. From the house it is a very short walk (10 min max) to a not crowded, and beautiful public Lake MI beach. The house itself had everything you would need for a day at the beach and an evening grill afterward. It comfortably fit my extended family. And last but certainly not least, our hosts were accessible and responsive to any questions or needs. It was a great place to stay!

To say we enjoyed our stay was an understatement! We took our first family vacation and brought my parents along for the ride. We all had so much fun! The neighborhood was the best fit for my young children to enjoy the park and have fun in the backyard with the games provided. Made lots of core memories with my family at the beach for the kid's first time at a beach and got lots of sun. We enjoyed the live band at The Deck for dinner one the nights and my oldest got a guitar pick from the lead singer!!! Overall it was literally the best place for our first vacation and we can't wait to come back next year (or later this year!!). The owners were a delight and very responsive when we needed something or when they provided some fun activities for us to do. I can't wait to book again soon! Thank you deeply for such a wonderful time! xo

This was a fabulous property and a wonderful long weekend away. We had our family of four plus a set of grandparents with us for the weekend, and this property was great for that - the master suite was on the opposite side of the house from the rest of the bedrooms, so the grandparents could have their own space and bathroom while we still had a king size bed and the hallway with the kiddos bedrooms all in one place too. The location close to the beach is perfect, and the hosts could not have been nicer or easier to communicate with. The house has all you need to have a nice day at the beach, and is so well appointed, clean, comfortable, etc. Really so nice - we want to come back! Great stay.

If I could give this property 6 stars, I would! Beautifully updated and decorated, this house had all the personal touches that made us feel right at home. My college friends and I enjoyed our time together with plenty of space for almost all of us to have our own bedroom, yet it still managed to feel very cozy. We enjoyed a walk on the beach (very close) and enjoyed the fire pit in the private backyard. I highly recommend this property. I know a few of us plan to return.

Our family of 5 spent a week here the first part of August and we absolutely loved everything, the house, the area, the property managers, couldn't have been better. If you're looking for a place to vacation in the Muskegon area, you definitely won't be disappointed. I challenge you to find a better spot for the price.

The property was exactly as listed - great location with an easy walk to the park and beach. The house itself was beautiful and spotless; all the extra touches made everything perfect (smart tvs, wagon, towels, board games, yard games, etc). This was our first time renting a vacation house and it did not disappoint. Lisa was so easy to work with - very highly recommend!

We booked this property as a sort of staycation for 2 somewhat local families and it was perfect. A short drive from GR and a world away. The proximity to the beach and the nearby playground were unbeatable for the littles and we are big fans of the Muskegon scene in general (as compared to other Lake Michigan beach towns). The house itself was spotless (you could literally smell how clean it was upon arrival) and the amenities were awesome. Helpful baby items, games, camp chairs for the backyard, lots of dishes, new/quality appliances, comfy bedding, etc. You can tell that Matt and Lisa put a lot of thought into making this property a special vacation destination.

The house was great, in a great neighborhood just a short walk to a great beach and playground. There were a bunch of pleasant surprises at the house for our kids -- beach gear, a wagon, games, balls, bikes. Loved our stay and we'll definitely look here first next time we're planning to come to Muskegon.

Great house! So much fun to hang out in the backyard and play games with the family which ranged 10-80 years old. It was a quick walk to the beach and offered some great morning runs. The bikes that were available were a nice bonus which allowed us to bike to The Deck to listen to live music.

This home goes in our top 3 favorite rentals! The house was very clean. Beds comfortable. Lovely furnished home. The WiFi and TV’s worked with no problem. Lisa sent a nice welcome note the day of our arrival and also reached out the day of a big snow to let us know someone was coming by to do snow removal. It was really nice to have access to the garage as well. The home is super comfortable. We absolutely loved everything about our stay.

I cannot say enough to recommend this property. The host was prompt in returning our messages and helped us to navigate our first trip with our infant. The property sits literally within a five minute walk of the sand, on what appears to be a world class beach.

This home is exactly as described. Very clean, lots of space, close to everything especially the beach. My grandkids loved the bunk bed room and had so much fun with the toys that were provided at the house. The beach chairs, umbrella, and wagon were put to good use. My husband and our two kids (3 and 11), along with my sister, BIL, and their three kids (4, 7 , and 13) stayed here for 6 days and had an absolutely lovely time. The house is recently renovated and is incredibly cozy and modern - and VERY clean! We wanted to be walking distance to the beach and this location was perfect. 5 minute easy walk to a nice beach and a great park just around the corner. The kids LOVED it. The games and toys in the kids room provided entertainment on rainy days so that was a nice plus. I highly recommend this spot, Matt and Lisa are wonderful and friendly and fantastic hosts!!
