It's OK if you want a base and don't mind smelly bedding

The house was a good size. It was quite cheap and has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms plus a downstairs loo and driveway parking. Setting is on a quiet housing estate.

Stayed at the start of December 2024. The duvet was very smelly, only one paper thin pillow each, kitchen utensils past their best, no oven glove, no tea towels, ancient bath towels, no smoke alarms, no access to fuse box when fuses blew, weird garden fake trellis on the living room wall hiding holes in the plaster, limited mug and glas selection, no lamps in bedrooms, no bulb in living room lamp - an odd size so you can't just switch out a bulb from another fitting, spotlight in main bathroom not working, cracked and wobbly tile in bathroom floor, dirty stars carpet which made the instruction not to go upstairs in your shoes laughable, I could go on. Should not be marketed as 'Amazing'. Sorry for the bad review, but you have emailed me a few times asking me to leave feedback.

It served its purpose.

It was adequate,but it lacked information about the property ie where switches were for thermostat. House was cold and no hot water for morning of departure, walls and windows could have done with a good clean also paint work. Sofa very low to ground and very uncomfortable, lack of cooking facilities and crockery.

Lovely accommodation, would recommend

Spacious, clean, lovely area, local amenities, 15/20 minutes to central Manchester by car

Boiler is incredibly loud when running hot water, something to be mindful of if you have members of the group sleeping.

A great house, which worked for us

The house was perfectly sized for a group get together from across the UK. The location is an incredibly quiet residential area which is around a £20 uber into town for 6 of us. The house was clean and the kitchen was fully equipped and there was sufficient seating and private sleeping for us all. There is private off road parking on the corner plot. Check in was simple.

A great stay but - The pump noise for the hot water came as a surprise! It is very loud throughout the house. Not ideal when some of your group are still sleeping. The garden space is lovely, but the garden furniture is partly damaged which prevents use for more than 3 people. The debris along the rear side of the house is unsightly but did not prevent use of the garden. There was tea and coffee, but we needed supplies as 3 tea bags would not quite have made the rounds!

A nice stay for a group of people to relax pre and post party

The space for the amount of people in the party was nice and it was cluttered with furniture

I think the showers need some work there isn’t great pressure and for the amount of people using the bathrooms it was awkward.

Fantastic large house

Excellent stay with a very responsive host. We were allowed late checkout on our stay and they provided everything we needed. Definitely recommend and will be back

Good

Spacious, clean and aesthetically pleasing.

Cold water and the fire alarm kept randomly going off whilst we slept.

Pleasant

Location was in a lovely suburb, just a 15 minute taxi into the centre. spacious with a nice kitchen and diner. Also accommodated an early check in which was appreciated.

Looked a lot nicer in pictures and wasn’t as clean as we would have liked. The linens and towels were old and not as nice as in the pictures.

Brilliant, clean, lovely house

good location, tucked in the corner

Only issue was the shower in the en suite bathroom the shower head wouldn’t stay on the holder so we had to hold it up to shower

There was dust, especially in the rooms.

Superb, thank you

Incredible property with amazing facilities. Quiet area in a very nice part of Manchester. We will be booking again when we are next in Manchester. Good communication with the owner and allowed us to have a late check out. Plenty of parking spaces for vehicles.

it’s quite big .. and spacious internet in all the areas

they need to do more cleaning .. the utensils were not clean .. poop in the garden .. the bedroom upstairs creek a lot …. the fridge is not working and smelt so bad .. they had barbecue facilities but it was not clean though .. everthing else was good but they need cleaning they said about the provide the toiletries but trust me there was nothing like that one shower it’s was like for one time shower for one person we bought shampoo toothbrushes hand trowel and showe gel for us as nobody can stay without hygiene for 4 days

Fabulous memories made with family.

Booked it as for 7 people so we all had separate bedrooms. Close enough to get a taxi into Manchester. Thanks to staff taking in oxygen delivery a load off my mind.

The property was a great size, quiet, but amenities? Would have liked two bath towels and hand towels for the rooms. No lightbulb in lounge table lamp. No batteries in remote for tv in bedroom. Also to make things better as it’s 4 bedrooms that’s covering maximum of 8 people. Would have liked more mugs for everyone and crockery. Previous visitors had left empty food packets and boxes.

The location was good, and isn’t too far from the city centre. The Uber’s aren’t too expensive for a group of 6. The house was lovely!

The en-suite toilet seat is broken apart from that everything was fine.

Excellent very large property with an great garden and lots of parking space

Great amenities, everything worked as described. This was as close to a perfect stay as one could ask for. The host was very responsive and we were able to check in early and have a late checkout. Large spacious 5 bedroom house with a great garden and lots of parking space
