Comfortable convenient and enjoyable.

The acoustics of the outside common areas are not good you have to tiptoe not to disturb other residents. The gates to the streets don’t get used because of the lack of vegetation in the flower beds mean that it’s easier to step up into the property from the street instead of going through the gate. Need some hedges ! Trained bougainvillea would be a good option.

Clean and perfectly positioned in town

Clean and comfortable Good wi-fi Great location Wonderful to have a hair dryer in the bathroom

The room felt a little cluttered with the bulky uncomfortable sofa couch and the bulky timber bed. They looked pretty though. Parking was a long way from my room so it was too hard to take my suitcase upstairs and along the verandah. Older people would struggle.

Despite these comments which I hope you find constructive; we had a lovely stay at the apartment

Location was great and the owner was very helpful.

We thought the kitchen facilities were limited. We weren't expecting a lot in the kitchen department, but a few minor changes would make it much more functional. For example, instead of the desk in the corner perhaps a small rectangular table would have been better for food preparation and eating. Also we would have liked to see matching wine glasses and mugs. A couple of small comfy chairs to replace the chaise longue, and an outdoor table and a couple of chairs as seen in other units would add to the experience.

Clean, quiet and comfortable

Quiet little spot with very comfortable room. Has a small microwave, a kettle and toaster. Access to Netflix on a large TV.

Understandably a water saving shower head on but this does mean it takes a little joy out of a hot shower after a long day.

Excellent location, clean and comfortable accommodation. Easy check-in, clear instructions. Internet and Netflix provided. Host responded promptly to our requests.

Apartment was on first floor access by stairs only. Not a problem for us, but needs to be disclosed in information about the apartment. Free parking on the street, not secure parking.

Didn't realise I was booking a private room in a block of apartments. 'Settlers' name confusing.

Location and price and in the main - quiet. Beutiful stone building with an enormous EMPTY courtyard - pity.

A full-length mirror would be great - could go on the back of the wardrobe doors. Blind on window was broken - could not pull it up. Carpet needs professional cleaning. The balustrades on the outside stairs are a SERIOUS HEALTH AND SAFETY ISSUE - very unsafe. Need to be given the option of ground floor or first floor.

Location was central to the main street. Bathroom was clean, although no house cleaning visited us while we were there.

We tried the food at the Settlers Inn for a lunch and it needed improvement. We did notice a sign looking for a chef and junior chef on the door on the way out though.

Comfortable but description a stretch

Very comfortable in a great location. Easy access and right in the middle of town. Once there we didn't require a car.

It was more like a motel room with a few appliances. To say it had a kitchenette was a big stretch- In one corner it had a small fridge with a toaster and microwave on it. In another corner was a small desk without a suitable chair. There is no sink - only the bathroom washbasin.

Exceptional

Great property, until the house keepers came banging on the door this morning at 10 to 10 and then proceeded to try open the door as apparently the key was out even though we weren’t given a key.

Highly recommended property. Room is situated inside, amongst others, of Settlers Hotel. York

Electronic door code. Easy to use. All information was emailed and msged in advance. Owner also replied immediately to my question.

This was the perfect stop over accommodation between Hyden and Fremantle, comfortable and central.

such a beautiful and comfortable room, central to everything, loved it 💕

personal possessions, including medication, left in bedside drawers. this is the only reason the cleaning score wasn’t perfect

DO NOT STAY AT SETTLERS HUB YORK ROOM 67

Absolutely nothing

NEVER AGAIN IF WE COULD HIVE A ZERO WE WOULD. Bath couldn't use as tap didn't work. Foxtel facilities didn't work. Room was dirty. Under the bed was filthy. Cleaner hadn't even cleaned last person's belongings out of side draws. Tried to contact people in charge/property manager. No response and second person just hung up. Then when we tried to bring up our complaints about the Foxtel and bath facilities not working we were accused of trying to just get a "free night's accommodation". Absolutely disgraceful. We even said just to refund our money and we would leave immediately and they refused. We have stayed in other rooms many times at that complex and have had no problems. Photos we are submitting are ones taken to show room had NOT been cleaned prior to our arrival. DO NOT STAY IN ROOM 67 @ SETTLERS HUB YORK

Lovely comfortable stay in the centre of historic York township.

Quiet comfortable room, good bed, could prepare simple meal in the room. The owner responded immediately to an issue with the heater, and organised for it to be sorted, even though it was a Sunday evening. Liked that there was a reading lamp.
