Nice hotel with good service.

Our stay at Lilianfels was stunning and luxurious. The room was beautiful and spacious, and the grounds were lovely. Sitting in the main lounge having tea felt a little special. Parking was limited during the busy school holidays, but the indoor pool was a massive hit with the kids, especially in the middle of winter.

Impeccable, everything was fabulous from the rooms to the service. The spa is definitely worth visiting, and the food is delicious even in the Lounge bar. Restaurant bills at their sister properties can be transferred to your room account for convenience. A wonderful experience. A shout out to Bryant at reception and Katherine in the spa for exceptional service.

Hotel stay was just average. We were in a place half the price the night before in Wentworth Falls with more amenities including a Nespresso machine in the room, which this hotel lacks at their price point. Ordered coffees in the lounge and only one came, the other was still on the bill, when provided the opportunity to deliver appropriate service for the class of hotel the staff did not deliver. Positives are the proximity to great bushwalking. Probably wouldn’t stay here again at this price point.

Comfortable room, great facilities.

We loved our stay and everything was perfect with the exception of the indoor pool. We chose your property as my partner has recently had knee replacement surgery and needed an indoor pool to continue with his hydrotherapy. We were really disappointed to find it was near impossible for him to get out of the pool with the steps available. We did not use the pool as it was too risky.

The location is excellent for Echo Point and the Three Sister and hiking. Beds are comfortable and room was spacious. The Lounge restaurant is solid and has an excellent host. Breakfast should be missed.
A special “thank you” to Lan and the front desk staff for their support

My Family and I are regulars at Lilianfels.
There was a misunderstanding whereby my wife asked to play the lounge piano and this initial request was assented to by a kindly female lounge staff member.
However as she was playing a Classical piece (she is a semi-professional pianist) she was rudely approached by a male asian staff member in the midst of her playing 'claire de llune' and rudely told to stop and was further threatened with having to pay a tuning fee! He loudly demanded she stop immediately causing much humiliation to my wife...
My question is was there really a need to be so aggressive with my wife? You guys are supposed to be in the hospitality industry and therefore should be handling such situations with some form of decorum and dignity,,, we are guests and not bums off the street, for heavens sake!

Had an enjoyable time.

We have stayed many times over the last 20 years. The spa facilities need a serious revamp, and the outdoor pool was closed. It used to be open in winter time. It is a beautiful hotel, but in need of some TLC.

We loved our stay, it’s a charming hotel with excellent service.

It's definitely not a 5 star hotel, The gym is pathetic, breakfast has limited chooices, the dinner room is so small you have to squeez through wherever you go. You have to queue for everthing, service is very slow, ordered coffee, it didn't come until we almost finished breakfast. when I was asking the waiter where is the milk, i was pointed to a empty milk jug, i said it's empty (pretty obvious) the response was just wait i will get to it. Ordered room service, there is $10 delivery charge???? I mean just price in the food, feels like jetstar.

Good location with parking near to the building, staffs are friendly and helpful

Full service luxury property - the heated indoor pool was fantastic on a cold winters day.

So close to the Three Sisters overlook! And the family appreciated the indoor heated pool in the winter!

I loved everything about my stay - the friendly and helpful staff, the beautiful room, great products, comfortable bed, the UTA buffet dinner, and great buffet breakfast. It was a real treat staying at Lilianfels, and I will definitely be back. Thank you.

Overall our stay was fantastic. Just a few things I noticed were as below:
Shower wall grout needs attention to clean.
Most of dining staff for breakfast buffet don’t smile as they were busy doing their task.

Nice and clean hotel. Service is the best part. They take care of you

Room decor we loved. Room size was amazing, we felt very spoilt. Enjoyed our dining in the lounge. Staff very professional and pleasant. Only thing against was the slow service of getting a ‘simple’ coffee with buffet breakfast. Had to ask several times. Obviously forgot our order. Apart from that incident , very enjoyable stay

Nice place to stay over the weekend with families. Good location right next to the three sisters walking trail, nice dining options and short driving time to Katoomba Main Streets.

Unfortunately control swich between beds

Arrived with a confirmed booking and was turned away. They had double booked the same room. I was holding a confirmed reservation with a confirmation number and a message “no need to call to confirm, your room is confirmed”. Appalling. Three hour drive to get there from Sydney in traffic and two hours back. No acceptance of responsibility, blamed it on Expedia. No offer of a room on a different date at a preferred rate. Terrible. Worst experience. Pretends to be up market but basic systems don’t work.

Beautiful property conveniently located at Echo point. I loved the two pools, indoor and outdoor and the surrounding gardens. The room was generous and the bed comfortable. The lounge area was also very comfortable and inviting.
However, I found the service to be terrible for a five star property. Check-in was very slow and late. We arrived an hour and a half early and not only were we not allowed to check in early but they checked us in after the advertised 3 PM time. We were not offered anything not even a drink of water while waiting for almost 2 hours.
I was brought the wrong order of food on one night, plus the soup was half cold. At breakfast they said they would come to our table for an order and never came. For room service they charge an extra $10 “tray charge” which I have never seen before. The restaurant in the hotel is expensive.

A lovely stay with my girls
Grounds are amazing , out door pool beautiful
Staff are friendly / tennis court and pool room was great we used those for activities / also get busy so have to book
Only few negative things : lunch menu is limited so is room service menu
Spa and sauna closes at 5:30pm and u have to go down stairs another section to spa treatment area to use them … so I didn’t as I wanted to use at night after a long day exploring Katoomba
Pillows were really flat and need better options
No food options close by so we went into main town and not a lot open found a great breakfast spot called pomegranate cafe , had breakfast there both days … but super busy both mornings but food is nice and friendly staff .
Also had dinner wood fired pizza in Katoomba Rustico Main Street also busy and lucky to get a table …
Hardly No Ubers or lucky to get one if coming in late at night …
Overall would definitely stay here again beautiful hotel and very good facilities :) front desk staff were amazing .

Great location as a hub for exploring the Blue Mountains! Easy check-in and out, good parking options.

One night, room in the attic.
Generally well appointed.
Restaurant options for dinner were limited. Expensive fine dining or very a limited choice from a cafe style burger menu...this needs to be reviewed.
Reception was efficient and friendly.

I checked in and was given a room which was around the corner from the reception desk (room #2). It was a room for disabled guests as well as being opposite the ladies washrooms. I thought about it for about an hour and then asked if I could change rooms which they did.

Lovely hotel. Good facilities. Enjoyable and easy and in a great location.
3.0
Not too bad. Great location. Quite overrated. Great staff. Not very clean. Problems with housekeeping and front reception. Not enough people at bar/ lounge/cafe. Takes a long time to receive the orders. Possibly long weekend/ higher pay rate issue for the staff.

Amazing stay at Lilianfels, even though we had rainy weather for blue mountains site seeing. All the staff were incredibly nice and the hotel just feels so special.
5.0
This place was amazing. Old English charm. High tea is a must!!! Use the pool, play a game of chess or billiards in the game room. Hike and walk the blue mountains… we walked to town, to the Skyrail and 3 sisters… many water falls to see, all accessible from the beautifully appointed resort. You can go ultra fantasy or ultra casual (we did the casual, because we were hiking and exploring) either way you, can not go wrong. Girls trip or romantic get it away- has it all.

A quality property, very comfortable, well cared for with superb surrounding gardens.

Nice property. A bit dated. A lot of things w er e closed perhaps due to the season. But great staff. Place was clean and a really good to point to explore the blue mountains area.
