Bar/restaurant was terrible from food/drink selection to service. I had to get out of my seat to go get help twice. Ordered rare steak, got well done. Given free appetizer but never served. Nothing but low grade american beer. Only single wine selection, Cabs. Only red Cab alternative was not available. No draft beer. TVs is bar only played infomercials and hidden behind weird blue screen which made them hard to see. No lunch service. Coffee machine in lobby never had cups. Dripping sound in the ceiling. Loud refrigerator in room. Labels on shampoo botels are not ADA compliant, very hard to read without glasses, and containers were super small. Room thermostats are locked. You cannot change the temperature at all. I travel for business and this is by far the worst hotel i have stayed in for years.

This is our go to hotel when visiting NYC. Clean, comfy and friendly staff.
POOL IS CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS.
Disappointed this time around as the pool was closed and it was not advertised anywhere. The pool is a big hit with the little ones.

Great location, right off of exit. Close to New York and New Jersey. Hotel was excellent, clean and friendly. Never had to wait when requesting items from front desk. Would stay again.

Pool not working, door lock not working, toilet was blocked

Absolutely horrible! No water at all. Then after 4 pm on Saturday, the water was reconnected. There was no hot water. The hotel had an event. It was unbelievably loud until 3:00am - nothing works! They took credit card information by hand. They offer nothing to compensate. Hotels.com should not have this hotel as part of their network. This place should be out of business. It was filthy!

The pool was being renovated which was really sad for our kids. The JCC next door did offer pool services for a fee and very small windows of time so we didn’t get to use it. The ice machine was broken so walked all over the hotel to go to the one that was working. Overall it was nice and I think some updates would make it better. We were there for Halloween stuff and it was a good location to sleepy hollow just a lot of traffic. Our toilet ran alllll the time too and when we flushed the toilet it made a VERY loud noise. Some updates would be great.

The hotel is showing its age. The furniture is a bit shabby. Old style bathroom facilities with the sink in the room with the toilet. The TV had a hotel wide issue selecting channels for a few hours (not weather related). There would be a charge to get a microwave in the room. Desk personal were not friendly or helpful.
We requested a late checkout (1.5 hour) due to a doctor changing the time of an appointment. When I called the day of the reservation, I was told that the desk could determine if we could get the late checkout when we checked in and they could not answer the question over the phone. When we checked in we were informed there would be a charge.

The hotel did not tell us in advance that the pool would be unavailable during our stay. Nor did they give us any warning that they would not be serving dinner on the night of our arrival. We particularly booked this hotel in order to have dinner prior to leaving for the Pumpkin Blaze on Friday evening. Most disappointing.

The front desk bar and bistro workers we all very pleasant. The room was not super clean. The lights and tv remote were dirty. There was very little hot water for showers. And the vent/fan in the bathroom didn’t work and was also falling out of the ceiling

Someone messed up my room. I booked a Garden double in July and came into the hotel early on check in. My room was confirmed at that time and I said I would come back after 4pm because I refused to pay the ridiculous fee of $50 for early check in. When I came back my reservation had been moved to the day of check out and my room rented to another. The hotel was full and the Desk clerks Gregory and Arion were able to get a room that had been out of service ready for us. If not for them our weekend could have been ruined.

Lobby first impressions was amazing, being booked by the stair and the doors going outside not so much. We could here people going up and down the stairs, the outside door slamming shut. People walking down the hall at night had absolutely no respect for others in the hotel, talking obscenely loud on speaker phone, yelling at their kids. We will not be staying here again

The whole hotel had an overwhelming smell, permeating from every room, we had all headaches from the strong scent. We had to air out our room as we could not breath from the strong over powering smell. I'm not sure if its from the cleaning products. Also, we booked this hotel for the pool and sauna, but it was closed due to renovation, I wish we they informed us or they should have a notice about current renovations or updates. Also there's construction in front of the hotel, I wish I knew that too.

All in all it was a great stay, the only bad part was the water pipes were very loud whenever anyone around our room either by taking a shower or just using the sink, it was hard to sleep when the pipes were banging!!

The second night was fine, but the first night was terrible. There was a wedding happening in the hotel. The wedding had music so loud it could be heard all throughout the hotel. I first tried to call the front desk, but my phone did not work, so I had to go to the front desk. The person at the desk told me the music is supposed to stop at 10pm, but it was already after 10pm. So I decide to patiently wait a while and see if the music would stop. At 11pm, it was still going. I went back to the desk and spoke to the manager, who had the attitude at first of "I can't tell them to stop. It's a wedding. What do want me to do." I told him I can't imagine others in the hotel are enjoying trying to sleep in a dance club. He then offered to move me to supposedly a quieter room. It's 11pm and he wants me to move my stuff to another room. Luckily, the music stopped, so I did not move rooms.

Pool and elevator out of order-- decent place otherwise

Broken elevator, swimming pool closed, bar couldn’t make basic drinks, drinks were under poured and overpriced, $22 eggs. When we were having issues getting into our room I called the front desk and even though it was manned he didn’t bother to answer the phone. Never staying here again and spreading the word so others don’t make the same mistake.

bathroom outdated. Shower almost unusable

The lobby area is very impressive. While walking to our room, there was a musty damp smell. The hotel tried fixing this with utility sized dryers. The doors and windows to the balcony are very outdated.

Thought it was a scenic property and was comfortable. It was no-frills, but the bed was comfortable and it was a clean room. The style is a little bit outdated, but that made it quaint.

Pleasant large room. We opted for a balcony room and loved sitting outside. The facility is not brand new, but everything worked and check in and check-out were fast and easy with polite efficient staff. Plenty of parking. There were weddings every night we were, but they did not interfere with our stay in any way. The pool was closed for renovation. Sleepy Hollow is just down the road by car.

Everything was great. The lobby was extremely clean however our room not so much. There were lots of broken drawers in 155. I turned on the light hanging on the wall at the entrance and it almost Fell off the wall. Other than that, the hotel was great

There was a wedding there that must have reserved the majority of the hotel and there didn’t appear to be enough staff working. Check in took almost half an hour. Overall an average hotel. Nothing fancy but it was clean. Just a bit run down. Broken tiles in bathroom, tv didnt work, etc.

The house keeping people don’t do there job right. The alarm went off at 3 am then on and off at 8am. Pool was closed, was a hassle to get to the pool across from them. Never going back again. Airón was good

We had three rooms booked for our stay. 247,249,255.
One day the all three doors to the rooms would not lock and we needed to call the front desk. Maintenance came and corrected the problem. Our room, 255, was in poor condition. The light globe in the bathroom had a piece broken. The wooden part of the vanity has a piece of wood missing. The bottom of the bathroom door had water damaged and had veneer damage. the carpet was not cleaned by the walls. There was a piece of something near the desk and by the bed. There was no hairdryer or iron when we checked in. Had to ask for that.
There were cobwebs in the corner with spiders in it. The wine cooler needs to be cleaned. It was dirty on the outside. We could not sleep with the air conditioner because it rattled.
The adjacent hallway had a huge fan trying to either dry the rug or conceal the damp , moldy carpet smell.
The pool was not working again.

The phone in my room didnt work. There was a family reunion happening little kids we're running back and forth up till 2am in the morning. This was the first floor so someone from the lobby shouid have said something. Also housekeeping kept trying to open the door and didnt even announce herself. I thought it was one of the kids from the reunion. Not a very relaxingbl stay

Seemed to be a Jewish-focused hotel....unique.
Cleaning service did not pay attention to the "Do not Disturb Sign" and knocked on door before I was ready.

Elevator was not working and we were on the second floor so we had to take the steps every time with our luggage. This created an inconvenience. We only had a view of the parking lot. Not a big deal because we were not in the room that much. There was a bit of a musty smell.
