Hotel was great. Hotels.com screwed up my reservation, and only showed 2/3 rooms booked. Wifi was unable to function because my reservation still would not show in their system after I checked in.

Hot tub was down, was looking forward to relaxing while the kids swam in the big pool. It was hot; though the jets did not work and looked like it has been that way for some time. The pool area was nice and clean. Rooms clean and staff friendly.

Adrian, the Valet, was outstanding. He was very friendly, efficient and did a wonderful job assisting us in parking our car and helping us with our luggage two times to and from our room.
Still have a hard time believing that the Hilton still does not have a functioning phone system. We have stayed there several times over the past several months and there has every time been the issue of no phone service in the rooms. Poor!!!

We stay here every year for the Lonestar motorcycle rally and love this hotel! They were experiencing a power outage when we went to check in however all the employees were very helpful and doing their best to assist everyone. I didn’t catch the gentleman’s name who was the Manager in duty however he was outstanding! The rooms were remolded and extremely clean. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was well appointed. The Hilton is always our choice while staying in Galveston.

My family and I stayed one night prior to boarding our cruise. All of the staff we interacted with were pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and ready earlier than expected. The food in the restaurant was hot and fresh.

The hotel is beautiful and has a lot of amenities. Perfect location and spacious rooms. The only thing I would say if the customer service is not welcoming at all. I would stay again because of hotel itself, but their customer service will have some customers not return.

It would be 2 stars except breakfast buffet and staff there were excellent. There was NO wifi service and there were guest telephone issues while I was there. NO self serve parking stalls available so had to pay extra for valet just to get a spot.

Love staying at the Hilton Galveston. Tommy, a valet, was wonderful and did a superb job in helping us with our luggage and getting our car.
Two issues: (1)was unable to connect computers from our room. Was able to connect at the front dest but not in our room. Frustrating. (2) the valets , Grayson and Tommy, were absolutely superb and did a wonderful job. My issue is that during this stay there was only one valet on duty and during busy checkin/checkout times he would be taking luggage to a room or getting luggage from a room, which takes time but leaves the valet station unattended. Paying $26 per day, certainly expect the hotel to have more than one valet on duty during known busy times. Having only one valet on duty is not fair to the valets or the guests paying $26 per day. This is a management problem and not an issue with the valets, who were working as hard as they could to cover two venues: parking/getting cars and delivering/picking up luggage for guests.

I had a great stay -- except for the check-in and front desk manager. My room was promised @ 4:00. Not ready. I asked how long, Jamie at the desk could not tell me so I sat in the lobby with my suitcase. Went back at 5:00, again Jamie said she could not tell me. I had plans for the evening and could not change and she could care less. Did not offer a cup of coffee or anything just told to wait. I went back at 6:00, again she could not tell me when. I then called the Hilton customer support line. They called the hotel then came back on the phone and said go to the desk, my room was ready. Shazzam it all of a sudden it was ready...why did it take that call? No apologies from the desk or anything. The Hilton was great...as I said after you get past the front desk. I would not mind visiting a Hilton again but not the one on the Galveston seawall. I will NOT go back due to mismanagement at the front desk and not caring attitude by all, especially Jamie.

Something I didn’t realize when using a site or as they say a third party to book you aren’t guaranteed a room nor can you get any perks nor can you complain about anything. They don’t have to do anything to help you. You also don’t get any reward points. So we won’t use this again probably.

First thing when we walk in yhe room we tried to adjust the thermostat and notice it wasnt working. So we went down to the front desk and let them know the batteries were missing im the thermostat. They said they would take care of it. We took our daughter to the pool and came back to the room and it still wasn't fixed. I went back to the front desk and they said oh ok sorry. Called the maintenance guy and he said 10 min. We stayed up till 1am. No one came. There were also 2 guys fighting in the parking lot all night security drove past them multiple times and did nothing. When we checked out in the morning they said they had tried to call me. I showed them my call log and no one tried to call me regarding the thermostat. I was very disappointed in the service in this hotel. I paid a lot of money to not be satisfied.

We have stayed here a few times and on this latest trip, we noticed they have completed quite a few renovations which have really beautified the interior and its amenities. This includes updated rooms which were also very nice and accommodating. The pool & swim up bar is always a great place to hang out at the end of the day. The beach is super accessible in that if you walk to the light by Kroger, there are ramps on the seawall that allow you to roll down wagons, coolers, etc. Speaking of Kroger, having it nearby is very convenient if you need to replenish any food or drinks during your beach hangout. Lastly, they have valet parking available for those who may need it or just appreciate that luxury. However, the parking lot is not very big and I would mostly recommend just paying for the self parking.

Hilton hotel in Galveston is very nice. Lobby is pretty modern with bar and cafe. Room was clean and cozy with good shower. Pool is excellent with bar and lot of chairs and umbrellas. And more over it was excellent view from room balcony on a ocean and pool. We had nice relaxing stay. Thank you Hilton

The room was in poor condition and had an overwhelming and unpleasant odor. The management staff was very helpful. I believe the owners may think it is okay to leave the property in poor condition because of the proximity to the beach. However, this is not acceptable. This is not the only hotel chain in Galveston that has neglected the hotel yet continues to charge outrageous prices due to the location.

Horrible staff !! They need so much improvement with customer service an security, it was like a Marijuana hotel and so dirty and definitely under staff! We will never go back !! Especially not a 4star hotel. Everything dirty .definitely reaching out to someone higher in hilton to fix it there. NOT A FAMILY HOTEL. NOT SAFE FOR CHILDERN
