Great location. Nice lobby. Clean n comfortable

The rooms were not made any of the days we stayed. We had to request it at reception and despite our request the rooms were not made or the towels renewed.
The ladies serving breakfast were really nice and the food was good.
Door of the server room (next to the gym) was left open which represented a safety hazard

Overall, we were very comfortable. The bed was great and the room felt comfortably clean. I did not like that I was initially given a room with 2 double/queen beds when I had prepaid for a king and was then told their king rooms were all booked. When I asked for a refund though, a king room magically appeared. I believe it was a more expensive room that had a pull out couch. I also did not like being on the ground floor with the parking spaces right outside our window. The staff were divided: some were friendly and some were not. They were all helpful though. As I said though, overall, we were quite satisfied. Don’t know what I would have done without their complementary coffee in the mornings. That was a huge plus.

Housekeeping service was very loud and I heard their knocks on every single door on my floor. Furthermore, they knocked on my door between 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM even though I had a "Do not disturb" sign. The burger place next door attracts bikers and partiers well into the night and adds to the noise issue.
Overall, a decent place in Westport for those who do not worry about noises and poor sleep.

This was a fine hotel. The beds were comfortable, the shower was nice, and the bath products were good. The location was good for Westport jaunts.
I did have a few issues, though. We were offered coffee service in the room on check-in, and they delivered the next morning. But the subsequent days I requested it, they never brought it. I had to call down and eventually go down myself to get coffee.
They missed a few days of cleaning, even though the Please Clean sign was hanging on the door handle. We had to mention this to the front desk.
The staff was friendly, and the dining area was conducive to group meet-ups as well as laptop working.

Not a bad place. Seems like a newly renovated place. Bedroom was very spacious. Clean. Not great lighting in the room. But that was the only real downside. Parking is shared with a hamburger joint and seemed just a little sketchy but free and well lit. Comfortable. Affordable.

The property was very clean, the room was clean with a comfortable bed. Around midnight I went to get ice from the ice machine on my floor and there was a woman walking around in just a t-shirt and her underwear. I appreciate that this hotel has a 12 pm check out but I do not appreciate staff banging on our room door at 11:30am and yelling for us to get going and get out. Once we got down to the lobby to check out, the female staff member at the desk was talking to other guests, she could be heard from the elevator saying “I would have beat her a**”. Very unprofessional. I would stay here again only for convenience but the staff should be trained on hospitality and professionalism.

Even though we didn’t, except there was a ready-made breakfast to order was $18 per person they offered free coffee service brought to your room by reservation. Only it was very convenient. Staff was friendly tried to accommodate everything quality guests and well informed staff of the area

Only complaint is that the bed sloped toward the head. I'm super sensitive to that. So I reworked the bed and slept with my head at the foot, sloping the right way!

All of the staff were extremely welcoming and always talked to us as we passed the desk. When we checked in we had the nicest lady named Niki, who upgraded our room to a corner room! We had a wonderful stay!

This place needs relocation and the smoke from the shower makes the alarm sound.

Stayed overnight for a concert. Room was updated, very clean and smelled great! Good size walk in shower with soap and shampoo dispensers. Food in restaurant area was good. Location is within walking distance of many restaurants and clubs. Definitely will stay here again if we are ever back in KC.

Nice property and staff. Close to a lot of bars and restaurants but a bit overwhelming for an out-of-towner. Westport area has a bit of a sketchy reputation, but the property takes good precautions with security. It'd be nice if the property provided some recommendations for local food and drink options.

Every employee at this place were top-notch! Our room was clean and comfortable. There’s a quaint little bar. Definitely would return just because of the smiling face behind the desk and the helpful bellman/maintenance guy. He was so friendly and helpful.

The beds were super comfortable and decor was pleasing to the eye. There was only one outlet in the bathroom and we were not given washcloths. We are a coffee culture and I was surprised that we had to ask to refill coffee urn. It

Hotel check in was at 3. they had a huge line of people and no room available on time. Everyone was waiting to check in well after 3 pm.

Arrived at 2:30pm with a lobby and restaurant full of
People because front desk said check-in was at 3:00pm. Ok, no problem, we can wait 30 min. At 3:00pm everyone bombarded the front desk and most rooms were still “not ready”. Literally went to the end of the line again until a room was available. The hotel itself is in the Westport District next to a street with houses. Those houses included very loud residents yelling at 2am. Room was very quiet (I wish we had a fan for noise). Hotel is close to restaurants but if we travel to KC again we’ll find another place to stay. For over $300/night I’d expect a little better service and ambiance. Hotel room was clean and AC worked great. Look at the street view before you book.

Besides the kinds running around unsupervised and extremely loud (walls are very thin, front desk tried to help but the parents let them continue on), our stay here was great. Beautifully decorated interior, kind and helpful staff, and probably one of the easiest, most seamless hotel experiences I’ve had as far as checking in/out, early arrival accommodations, and navigating our way to and from our room.
The downside is the area, specifically the bigger part of the parking lot next to the burger joint that is in the same lot (it appeared to be a bar/club at night). All was fine for us, however, getting back from a concert at midnight we saw a man putting his gun in his waistband as we entered the parking lot and then drove past someone showing off some type of semi-automatic gun in the back parking area as well. We found the last spot in that lot that’s closer to the hotel and we had no issues, but the next morning I don’t think other guests were as lucky. There is a warning about parking at your own risk, however, I would highly suggest the hotel consider gating their parking area for their guests.

It is nice it was located in Westport with easy parking. It is shared with another business so you may have to walk further than expected on a weekend night if you get back later in the evening. Room was great. Clean, bed very comfortable. Lots of storage options for longer stays. Huge tv. Unable to use hdmi with the tv natively for any personal devices. There could be a better seal around the door to stop sound entering from the hallway. Would stay again.

The customer service by all of the employees was excellent. Very friendly and gave us great outdoor events to do. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

This is one of the loudest hotels ive ever stayed in. You can hear ever car drive pass blasting music till about 3am. You can also hear every single door open and close on your floor

The room and interior of the hotel were fine. There were a couple of people hanging out in the parking lot but you will get that in most any city hotel.
People were friendly and helpful at check but that was where it ended. The room had ONE towel. I had to call twice to get more towels.
The television would work for about 10 seconds at a time and then would freeze. And it was the first weekend of the olympics so I was super frusrated.
The worst part of the stay was that when we went down for coffee awt 9:55, we were told that there was "no more coffee" (also no hot water for tea). The complimentary breakfast was 7:30-10 (on a Sunday) so we admittedly went down close to closing but all we wanted was coffee. We were not even given the option of *buying* coffee from the restaurant. Just told "no more coffee."
Helena, the front desk supervisor was receptive to hearing our concerns, noted the television issue and made me a cup of coffee from the bar in the restaurant. She is the reason that there are any stars for service.
There are also no coffee pots in the rooms or microwaves to heat hot water for tea.
Lots of great restaurants in the area.

Staff was so friendly and helpful. Just great folks. Parking is a nightmare, not enough spots and didn’t feel very safe. Bucket under the bathroom sink to catch leaks. For the price, would expect higher quality.

My husband and I visit Kansas City for a long weekend every summer and usually like to stay in Westport because of the location. In the past, we have stayed at a different hotel, but recently that has felt more like a post-bar hangout than a hotel. We've also tried short-term rentals, but those got to be too expensive when all we really need is a place to sleep. We were familiar with this hotel before its renovation and decided to give it a shot. Everything was great. It's far enough down Westport Road that you don't really get stragglers from the bars so it was pretty quiet. The parking lot is small but they have access to the huge lot behind the hotel. We were there for 4 nights and never had trouble finding a place to park. The room itself was super comfortable. I have trouble sleeping in strange beds and I would say it's the best hotel bed I've ever slept in. The bar next door says they have the best hamburgers in Kansas City, and they might be right. This is definitely on the list for our next visit.

The hotel was so nice and the boutique type decor was really a bonus - bedding was comfortable. I know they can't control what area they are located, but during the day it was great, at night it was pretty scary

Kind, friendly staff. The room was lovely & comfortable. It could use at least one stronger light, but otherwise we really liked it. Parking was very nice and we appreciated the handicapped parking spots just feet from the door to the lobby.

We have stayed here in the past before remodel. The hotel is much nicer now.
