An absolutely beautiful hotel in the most amazing grounds. Staff can’t do enough to help, service is outstanding. Facilities are outstanding - huge manicured gardens with tropical trees and plants, volleyball, tennis, 3 pools (importantly one is heated!), spa (extra charge, not cheap) petting zoo/farm, several boats waiting to take you across the river, taxis on demand (very cheap), travel agent in the lobby to book tours (at only a day’s notice). Buffet restaurant plus a la carte Italian, Asian and kebab restaurants and a bar. Food is good.
All rooms are spacious and have comfy balconies or terraces, all with Nile or garden views (or both)

This place was a million times better than anywhwere else we stayed including the nile cruise. If i had to do it again Luxor and this place would be my hub. The beds were comfy, the kids had room to play, the pool was nice, and we felt safe.

We were trying to checking in while the front desk asked us to sit at
The lobby, and they took care of a large tour group, and they took a long time to get us a room. They decided to help a larger group…horrible experience…we were
Tired about. 3 hour flight delayed

Power and water outages multiple times a day, no electricity, no water, no AC! There was 110 degrees outside, no where to go on the island. No one apologized! Even no one call for greeting.I am so disappointed with this hotel!

It was beautiful journey which I stayed beside Nile.
Everything was perfect. The staffs were lovely, Mr Maksa Rios is a very helpful man, and Mis Walaa keep smiling to make me feel comfortable.
The location was beautiful and spacious, the breakfast and other food was delicious. Highly recommend Jolie Ville. Excellent value than what I paid

The hotel is immaculate, the staff is amazingly friendly. The only issue is the hours of the pool, when it is this hot you wish could be in there after the sunset closing time which is around 7:30pm in the summer

This hotel is on its own island and isolated from the rest of Luxor. You cannot leave without hiring a taxi or driver, which is especially complicated given the food is very poor quality and expensive compared to local prices. We got upset stomachs from a simple pasta dish.
The rooms are attached by a cheap door, so it feels like the guests nextdoor are in the room with you as you can hear everything. The accommodations are dated and seem like they have not been updated since the 80s. The AC is weak and does not work well in the basic rooms, though it works well in the premium rooms.
At one point there was a lizard in our room that was too fast to get it out by ourselves. We called reception and an hour later someone was sent who sprayed Raid aggressively all over our room, but given the language barrier he did not understand where I was telling him the lizard was. Long story short, we had a visitor in our room the rest of the stay.
Lastly, the pool deck design near our room was swastikas which was highly concerning.
It is a shame since the staff are kind and the property has a lot of potential, but this is certainly not a five star establishment. I would advise booking elsewhere for the price, as it is comparable to better hotels and double what it should be.

Good resort on it's own private island on the nile. Has 3 really nice pools and lots of restaurants

Great place to stay at but the staff is not the best! On my last day, a service personnel knocked on my door and while I was replying, he just walked in onto the room and I was standing in my underwear!

I have never experienced such carelessness from any hotels I ever stayed. Asked to pay $35 pp for the second person which is double of the price mentioned on Expedia. Reported aircon not working immediately got in to the room at 10pm, after 9 phone calls and 3 hours waiting, with the front desk kept lying “our stuff is waiting outside”, they finally changed my room at 1:15am. Reported to manager and I had no response, reported again on the next day, no response, reported to Expedia and Expedia contacted them, again no response. They just don’t care. Can’t believe this is a five star hotel. BTW the hotel is huge you will need to walk 10 minutes to get to the reception and we really can’t find our path at night so had to call and wait. Card stopped working the next day and had to walk there and back, 30 minutes and I was so exhausted due to lack of sleep at the previous night. Please stay away! This is my true experience.

I've never left a hotel before being sad because I know I'll miss the staff, and this is coming from an avid traveller. I've never seen so many pure and kind smiles, and truly good souls making us feel at home. This staff should teach other hospitality institutions what exemplary service is. I can not recommend jolie ville and the staff enough, absolutely the best hotel stay I've ever experienced !

Perfect location to relax after a day of sightseeing or just spend the entire day by the pool.

The hotel environment on the Nile River is beautiful. Unfortunately we did not have the best experience starting with our check-in as the staff were disorganized, and simply did not listen. We had to change rooms as our first room smelt like paint, our upgraded room had a leaking tub. We notified the front desk, they didn’t seem to care about our experience or the fact that the water was leaking everywhere. The hotel could benefit from proper customer service training for the front desk staff as it really sets the tone for the whole stay.

After days of seeing Temples and Tombs in the blazing sun and temperatures over 110 degrees, arriving at the Jolie Ville was like an oasis in the desert. The property is beautiful, quiet and away from the busy life of Cairo, Aswan and Luxor. We loved the place and would go back again for sure. One member of the front desk staff was especially helpful, a young woman named Nermeen Adel.

Our experience was great. Wonderful staff, food accommodations and the pools were amazing!
The spa treatment was a bit of a disappointment… my sister had lash extensions that were very long and thick… in fact a bit comical looking, some the glue was applied thickly and scratched her eye. The technician quickly removed the excess glue, but my sister was in pain for several hours. She will have the lashes removed immediately upon arriving back home.

What you would expect, amazing well kept resort with everything you need. Luxor is beautiful and the staff here are amazing.

My bathroom tub was clearly dirty. The furniture, bedding, etc. in the room is clearly old and not all clean either. The landscaping of the resort is not kept up at all.The only nice thing about this place is the buffet -- serves excellent dinners for a great price. The hotel lobby is clean also, and the lobby/restaurants provide a beautiful view of the Nile. Overall, I would not recommend at all. Yes it is is a low price, but it's not even worth the price in my opinion. Just stay at a hotel.

Jolie is really a resort to relax and dine outside of Luxor´s busy lifestyle and noise.

Beautiful place, rooms in new sector clean and comfortable.
3 magnificent pools. A dream.
Only problem is the very slow service in the restaurant. We waited 40 min for a drink and more than 1 hour for our dish.

What a lovely place to stay for a relaxing vacation! The pools are all amazing and clean. Check in and check out we’re fast and efficient. The staff goes above and beyond to make you comfortable and take care of you.
We had a problem with our air conditioner and they moved us to an upgraded room with no hassle.
Breakfast buffet is great with a ton of options! The views are lovely.
Not complaints but some observations: They don’t have many options to refill water bottles which means lots of plastic. The zoo is depressing…animals in small enclosures that are basically just dirt.

An obvious home enviroment.

We just love it there. Nothing to complain about.
