I booked at this location because the Sunnyvale DOES NOT CHARGE a transient occupanct tax (aka a tourist tax) and it was an unplanned stay and wanted to say money. I usually stay at the Residence Inn San Jose Airport lication, which is absolutely fabulous, but also only a few years old in all fairness. This property is incredibly dated on the exterior (early 80s-ish), somewhat dated-feeling on the inside due to the older layout with modern furnishings crammed in there. Minor maintenance/housekeeping issues (not cleanliness-related). Only a Residence Inn I stayed at in Atlanta in 2008 was as dated. The breakfast was included and fairly meh, with limited options and some items already all gone around 7am. The airport location has a massive breakfast for both domestic and international guests wsyiting a wide variety of diets and tastes. Spicy hot link sausage at breakfast was very odd. The self made waffles were great. The main dining room was so jammed with tables that you could barely get through to a free table as seated patrons were in the way! The condition of the earing area was rather gross, from the carpet to the tables and chairs and the strange and sparse application of wall decor. The small room where the food is needed rehabing as well. The location is dark and off the main road. I would rather stay at a different Marriot Property if at all possible. I would also recommend Larkspur Landing in Sumnyvale over this one.

We reserved the two bed room suite which is perfect for families, full kitchen two full bedrooms each with tv. Downstairs common area with tv. Amazing staff and great breakfast. Looking forward to booking this hotel again

Fast and friendly service. Breakfast was good. Room was a good size with all amenities. Our room faced a busy street so we can hear the cars going by even at 11:30 pm.

Room was cozy and quiet. We didn’t get the room we requested but the girl at the front desk was very patient and nice to help us find one that we liked so it all worked out!

Pros: location; price; the property appeared to have been an apartment/townhouse complex Marriott bought, I personally liked the more independent feel that implies; sqft of room and updated kitchen/bathroom
Cons: hour-long check in as service was slow for their janky doors + needing to swap out the crib; cleanliness just ok; the provided dishsoap was watered down, which was odd

It was ok. You’d think paying for a “penthouse suite” things would be peachy. The first night the temperature thermostat didn’t work so we woke up to 66 degrees in the morning after we had set the heat to high before bed. Thankfully the next day they sent someone with more experience to fix the issue. Minor flaws like the refrigerator doesn’t fully open due to the poor design in the kitchen. Toilet kept making random flushing noises. Staff was super friendly, so was the second maintenance worker that solved the temperature problem.

This property was absolutely beautiful! We really enjoyed their suites as a family of 3. Felt like home! They have a stove, kitchenware, fridge and freezer.

The room was clean, comfortable temperature , spacious, and accommodating. Checking in was easy with a complimentary drink of water or sparkling water and desk service person was friendly. Room was ready an hour early. Parking is $17 and there were plenty of places to park. The area was safe and quiet. Bed was so comfortable I overslept. I would stay here again in the future!

The hotel is cute, very homey feeling. The negative side is the ac takes for ever to cool and is so loud. If you like ambient noise this would work for you. The other negative issue was my door lock battery was either low or the door itself has an unlock/locking issue. Felt to open the door I had to hit with my body to open. Once inside the door would not lock. Positive side very clean and comfortable. Front desk was great at check in but at check out seemed they didn’t want to listen to the issues I had during my stay. Over all 3 star (star loss for ac noise 1/2 star loss for front desk service 1/2 star loss for door).

I often stay in Residence Inn Sunnyvale II when I am on business. The hotel environment and conditions are very good, I like it very much. But this time I found the mattress sank so that I felt my low back pain and could not sleep well. I hope the hotel will replace the mattress. I will come back soon and still live in this hotle which like as a home. Thank you!

The staff here is amazing! I would like to recognize Rob! He was friendly, attentive and informative.

Breakfast was excellent. Very good bathroom and easy to use. One disappointment was the $17 daily parking fee. Most guests arrived by driving themselves, and the daily parking fees don’t make sense at all.

Stayed here for a night to go to a concert at Shoreline Amphitheater. The room is very spacious and clean. It’s like a small apartment. It has a full kitchen amenities. Bathroom was spacious and over all clean all around. The bed was a bit harder to my liking. I chose this place based on the rate that was the best I could find in area as for a 3-4 star. Motel 6 was the same price. They do charge for parking $17 per night and if you take Uber to Shoreline is about $25-$30 depends on what your preference is and time of day. Close to many things in Sunnyvale. You can get pizza delivery late at night too. I recommend Tandoori Pizza! I had a great time at the Residence Inn. I recommend and would stay again.

I like the full kitchen and room cleanness.
I don't like the noise from upper level neighbors and the charge for parking.

They have everything but I didn’t get to try the breakfast options so I can’t say much in regards to that

Front desk is not very social able or knowledgeable. You have to interrupt them for their attention.
